新型“圆形监狱”——从福柯理论看网络空间的信息监控系统

科学技术极大地提高了生产力,解放了人类,促进了社会的进步和发展。科技的发展在给人类带来福音的同时也带来了一系列负面效应,这在作为当代科技成果集中体现的计算机网络空间中尤为突出。“圆形监狱”一说作为一种以空间来象征权力的理想范例和极致模板首先由边沁提出,而后福柯在《规训与惩罚》中进一步将其描述为全景敞视主义。不管从技术基础、监视模式、空间划分、权力等级等各个方面看,似乎与任何束缚、控制、权力、统治、规训无涉的新型社会空间——网络空间,却在本质上不啻另一种新型的全景敞视“圆形监狱”,实际上是处于一种无形却又无所不在的信息监控网络中,成为了当代资本主义社会的新型统治和渗透手段。因此,传统社会空间中那种明显的、赤裸裸的权力与控制并没有凭空消失,而是以更加全面隐蔽而富有迷惑性的方式渗入网络空间中。这表明,随着现代性的进程,本身作为一种人工产物的网络科技,有可能脱离人的控制而走向未知的自主发展,成为后现代资本社会的新型统治手段而具有负面效应。     

A not so strange silence: Why qualitative researchers should respond critically to the qualitative data archive

A driving force behind the establishment of a qualitative data archive in the United Kingdom has been the oral historian, Paul Thompson. He has complained that there is a ‘strange silence’ among qualitative sociologists on re‐analysis, and that many have been reluctant to deposit data. The first part of the paper suggests that the common ethical and practical objections can be overcome in establishing an archive in Australia. However, there is a more serious underlying ideological objection: that archiving promotes and institutionalises a narrow empiricist version of qualitative research. The rest of the paper makes this case by examining teaching materials on a British website, by reviewing Thompson's arguments, and by considering some examples of re‐analysis by sociologists. It is argued that qualitative researchers should respond critically, but that it is possible to address and overcome these problems when developing an Australian archive.     

Intimate Violence in Lesbian Relationships

This paper describes the findings of a survey of 1109 lesbians who attended the Women's Music Festival held in Michigan in carly August 1985. The primary objectives of the study were to document the incidence of domestic violence in a non-random sample of lesbian relationships; to identify and describe the types of domestic violence experienced and/or perpetrated; and to ascertain thc availability and accessibility of community helping resources to survivors and perpetrators after an abusive episode. Comparisons with domestic violence in heterosexual relationships are also made, followed by a discussion on the research and practice implications of the findings.     

Collaborative Data-Mining in an Adolescent Mental Health Service

Summary

As full participants in a collaborative clinical data-mining project intended to promote staff reflection and to improve services, clinicians discovered just how valuable their practice expertise was in maintaining project relevance. In this paper, they describe challenges they faced as non-experienced researchers and writers and how their practice skills enabled them to overcome these challenges. Benefits derived include: enhanced skills (in both practice and research), sensitization to previously overlooked areas of practice, and an increased sense of professionalism.

北宋大文献学家宋敏求编校整理唐人别集十种,以描述、彰显和定位其在中国古典文献学史上的显赫功绩。相对于曹之、王德毅两位学界前辈的已有成果,在前人研究基础上继续深入对宋敏求编校整理唐人别集的实证进行研究,并且以新的材料和视野使之有所推进,以唐集在宋代之整理与流传的若干问题为契机,考究出宋敏求编校整理唐人别集十种：颜真卿集、李白集、杜甫集、李邕集、钱起集、孟郊集、刘禹锡集、鲍溶集、秦系集、李德裕集。
