溯源道德滑坡的社会因素：认识偏差与信仰缺失

自从1978年实行改革开放政策以来,我国的道德建设的确取得了很大的成绩,人们的道德面貌在不少方面发生了可喜的变化,但相对于物质文明的巨大进步,我国社会道德整体处于一种滞后和乏力的状态。因此,我们对＂滑坡论＂者提出的问题不能轻视,对＂爬坡论＂者看到的成绩也不能盲目乐观。只有正视道德滑坡的严峻现实,进而探讨推动道德滑坡的主要因素,才能为有效阻止道德滑坡乃至崩溃寻找正确的突破口。     

论高校的人才培养氛围

高校在人才培养上还存在不应忽视的缺欠和问题,究其原因,人才培养氛围的欠缺与之密切关联.伴随时代快速前行的脚步,优秀人才的内涵应更丰富,视野应更开阔,心智应更完善.面对未来的人才需求,高校应提升使命感、坚守自身的根本职能,通过浓厚六个方面的氛围,即人才培养第一的主题氛围、学生为本的服务氛围、科学严谨的求实氛围、文理渗透的博学氛围、民主和谐的宽容氛围和无处不在的熏陶氛围,使学生获得健康成长、充分发展.     

大学文化之于学风培育的影响路径探究——兼论教学评估指标体系中的学风建设

“学风”是国家普通本科教学工作水平评估的重要内容之一,优良学风的形成对大学文化有一种天然的依赖。大学是文化的聚合体,大学的精神文化、制度文化、物质文化和行为文化分别构成学风培育的灵魂、保障、基础和表征。学风培育对四类大学文化有着不同的路径依赖。

苏童的小说所具有的艺术魅力,很大程度上得益于其中独特艺术空间的营造,无论是江南景致的描写,还是叙事氛围的营造,均服务于这一艺术空间.小说中所描绘的许多事物除了具有构成故事情节的作用之外,还有强烈的意象色彩,这一点是外在于故事情节的,但它却指向故事的精神本质.在苏童的小说里,艺术空间的存在划定了现实世界与小说世界的界限,成就了这些小说作为"虚构"之艺术的实质.     

Recall of Nonverbal Cues: Exploring a New Definition of Interpersonal Sensitivity

Interpersonal sensitivity, defined as the accurate recall of another person’s nonverbal behavior, was measured in two studies. In Study 1, nonverbal recall accuracy (NRA) was based on recall of cues expressed by a man and/or woman being interviewed on videotape. Retest reliability after 2 weeks was satisfactory and the male and female tests demonstrated sufficient convergence. Participants could assess their own recall accuracy at better than chance levels; ability to decode the meanings of visual nonverbal cues was positively related to NRA; discriminant validity of NRA was demonstrated with regard to general cognitive ability; and women had higher NRA than men. In Study 2, NRA was based on recall of a live interaction partner. Women again had higher NRA than men; NRA was significantly better than chance; and higher NRA was associated with more smiling and self-reported positive affect during the interaction. Nonverbal recall accuracy is a promising new definition of interpersonal sensitivity.

新形势下民族院校加强和改进学风建设的思考

在新形势下,加强和改进民族院校学风建设,已经成为民族院校提高教育教学质量,实现自身超常规跨越式发展过程中的必然要求,成为民族高等教育事业发展中的一个重要而紧迫的课题。本文结合民族院校在学风建设中暴露出的一些新问题和新矛盾,就民族院校加强和改进学风建设进行了粗浅探讨,以求进一步提高民族院校教育教学质量,推动整个民族高等教育事业的繁荣与壮大。     

建设班级优良学风的思考

学生班级的学风是形成优良校风的支撑力量和基础之一,建设好班级学风是培养全面发展高素质的学生的保证,更是"三个代表"和"十六大精神"在高等教育工作中的具体体现。

KNOWLEDGE OF NONVERBAL CUES,GENDER, AND NONVERBAL DECODING ACCURACY

The Test of Nonverbal Cue Knowledge (TONCK), a paper and pencil test measuring explicit knowledge of nonverbal cue meanings and uses, was developed and found to be reliable and to have predictive ability. In four studies, participants were given the TONCK and one or more tests of accuracy in decoding nonverbal cues the adult faces and voices tests of the Diagnostic Analysis of Nonverbal Accuracy 2 (DANVA) and the video and audio tests of the Profile of Nonverbal Sensitivity (PONS), as well as a test of general cognitive ability (the Wonderlic Personnel Test). Results are reported for the four studies individually and also in a meta-analytic summary. Females scored higher than males on the TONCK and on the PONS, and the TONCK predicted accuracy on the PONS and DANVA. Knowledge of nonverbal cues did not account for the gender difference in decoding ability on the PONS. Cognitive ability was related to the TONCK but did not compromise relations with other variables. The future utility of the TONCK, content specificity of tests, as well as the automaticity of judging cues are discussed.The authors thank Crystal Mileti, Jenna Lavery, Erica Dempsey, and Jared Majerle for their assistance in conducting this research.

Abstract

This article addresses the orchestration of domestic lighting as an object of anthropological study. It takes Bedouin domestic architecture in southern Jordan as a starting point in an analysis of how light is used as means of safeguarding spaces as part of hospitality practices central to Bedouin culture. By arguing that things are “ecstatic” in the sense that they transcend their own tangibility, the article shows how objects, such as tinted windows, impose themselves on other objects to shape the particular visual presence of the world that informants opt for. Such a presence of the world is analyzed through the notion of “atmosphere” as a contemporaneity of subjective emotions, cultural ideals, and material phenomena. Thus, while boundaries between interior and exterior may be upheld by tangible material strategies, such as walls, these boundaries may also simultaneously be permeated by the ecstasy of material things, which aim to safeguard other aspects of life through less tangible strategies.
