以《广雅疏证》为代表的古代同义观与现代同义观迥然不同:后者要求同义词语之间的词义大致相同,而前者只要求同义词语之间具有相同义素。古代同义观重词语之间的语源关系而轻词语之间的类属关系,重直观感觉而轻理性分析。

Wavelet-based estimators of multivariable mean regression function with long-memory data

Wavelet analysis has been proved to be a powerful statistical technique in the non parametric regression. In this paper, we propose non linear wavelet-based estimators for multivariable mean regression function with long-memory data. We also provide an asymptotic expansion for the mean integrated squared error (MISE) of the function estimators. This MISE expansion still works even when the underlying mean regression function is only piecewise smooth. This paper extends the corresponding results in the literature for single variable to multivariable case.     

‘He enjoyed it more than I did’!: young British Sikh women negotiating safe sex in heterosexual encounters

ABSTRACT

Sex education and relationship strategy of the U.K. allows parents to withdraw their children from sex education, which has left many young people especially those from Black Minority and Ethnic communities with low or no sex education. Similarly, the government's policy environment enables faith schools to teach these subjects under the tenets of their faith. This empirical research was carried out in South-West London using 12 qualitative interviews with women and men (ages 18–20 years) discusses young women's experiences of their first sexual encounter who navigate their reputations, relationships as well as negotiate safe sex in the absence of appropriate relationships and sex education. Sex education not only brings into focus sensitivities around gender but also tensions around religion in the U.K. Evidence from the study suggests that despite the importance placed by the Indian community on maintaining virginity, young women asserted that religion and culture did not prohibit them from exploring their sexuality. In this study, the priority is to present young women's voices and experience of sexual encounters.

基于教师层面的高校教学与科研关系研究

教学与科研是高校健康运行的两项基本职能，同时也是高校教师所肩负的两项基本任务。基于教师层面的教学与科研关系问题是高校教学与科研和谐发展的关键所在。理论上教学与科研之间应表现为相互联系、相互制约、相对独立的辩证统一关系，但很多高校却仅表现出相互制约的一面，其原因是作为教学与科研主体的教师，一方面受到学校办学定位、绩效评价导向的影响，另一方面自身也存在专业不对口、工作态度不严谨等问题。因此，促进教学与科研的结合是解决问题的最佳途径。     

Exploratory Analysis of Factors Associated with Participation in Self-Directed and Traditional Marriage and Relationship Education

Although self-directed marriage and relationship education (MRE) has the potential to reach a larger or different audience than traditional MRE, little has been done to examine the characteristics of self-directed MRE participants. This study examined whether various individual, couple, family, and sociocultural context variables predicted participation in both self-directed and traditional MRE programs. A series of logistic regressions were conducted on a cross-sectional data set. Different factors predicted participation for each intervention. For self-directed programs, factors predictive of involvement included older age, religiosity, higher education, being more self-regulated, having a neurotic partner, more open relationship boundaries, a history of divorce, more relationship problems, and more family-of-origin problems. A wider range of factors predicted participation in traditional programs. Some factors increasing odds for participation in one intervention decreased odds in the other. Implications for MRE are discussed. This study provides evidence that some higher risk couples may choose self-directed MRE over more traditional programs.
