与时俱进是"三个代表"重要思想的精髓和理论品质,是学习贯彻"三个代表"重要思想的关键所在。高校既是培养高素质专门人才的重要基地,又是继承传播先进文化的重要场所。因此,以"三个代表"重要思想贯穿始终并培养与时俱进的大学生,是高校树立并遵照与社会经济发展相适应的教育观、人才观的必然要求。

本文对美国、西欧、亚洲、拉丁美洲、澳大利亚和非洲等地区比较高等教育研究领域的发展进行了较为详细的梳理，并对其不同特点加以分析，从而描绘出该研究领域世界性发展趋势的主体框架。比较高等教育研究范式     

论高等学校内部运行机制与管理体制的关系

高等学校内部运行机制和高等学校管理体制的关系问题是高等教育管理中的重大理论和现实问题。但目前研究不多亦不深入。笔者就此问题进行了系统的理论分析，指出二者之间是一种相互影响、彼此制约、互相转化、复杂多变的关系。文中着重阐明了高等学校内部运行机制和管理体制的核心是高等学校管理主体，以及高等学校管理体制是高等学校内部运行机制的有机组成部分等观点。

本文就我国区域经济发展与高等教育地方化的背景、必然性以及发展中所存在的问题进行探讨，并以此为基础对世纪之交广东区域经济与区域高等教育协调发展的紧迫性作了简单分析。     

A method of deriving valid approximate expressions for bias in ratio estimation

The expectation of a ratio of two statistics is usually obtained by the method in which the denominator is expanded into a binomial series around its mean. However, this method can less generally be employed because the expansion of the denominator is not always valid. This paper presents a device in which the expectation of a ratio of two statistics can more generally be obtained. The device is to adopt a positive value as ‘catalyzer’. It can be applied not only to the ratio of estimates based on samples but also to ratio of any two statistics, if the denominator is positive and finite.

高师声乐技能课实践教学模式研究

高师音乐教学是培养合格的师资。高师声乐教学就是要加强歌唱的声音、气息、语言、技巧、表演等方面综合能力的训练,弥补传统的表演专业一对一上课形式的不足,提高教学质量、促进改革和发展。采取个别课、集体课、小组课、实践课、多媒体等多种授课形式,把技能训练、表演训练、社会实践有机的结合起来,不断提高教学水平。     

The Interactive Relationship Between Class Identity and the College Experience: The Case of Lower Income Students

To probe the role that college context plays in influencing the class-based aspects of identity for lower income students, we interviewed 30 lower income students, 15 from an elite college and 15 from a state college. Significant disparities of wealth between students at the elite college heightened awareness of class, and led to feelings of intimidation, discomfort, inadequacy, deficiency, exclusion, and powerlessness among lower income students, feelings that were less prevalent among state college students. Students at both colleges acquired new forms of cultural capital and coped with class-based discontinuities between who they were before college and who they were becoming, but these issues became heightened for the elite college students.
