由于信息不对称到处存在,往往会引起人才招聘中的逆向选择,甚而会造成整个招聘市场的瘫痪;克服信息不对称的“自动亮相法”“可信传递信号法”“堆积岗位对号入座法”等各类矫正技术,使招聘者不仅象伯乐能识“千里马”,而且还更胜一筹,让“千里马”自己跑出来自动显示“私人信息”。即使对“千里马”也要进行必要的考察,特别是有必要进行“组织文化”的认同,使他真正成为“组织的千里马”。

Discourses of Decision Making in Child Protection: Condusting Comprehensive Assessments in Britain

Findings from a qualitative study of comprehensive assessments in child protection social work in the UK are discussed. The accounts of social workers in formal interviews, informal interactions and case files are analysed, examining their explanations and understandings of the process of decision making. Two discourses of decision making are discerned: scientific observation and reflective evaluation. Whilst most social workers understand their work, at different times, through both discourses, it is argued that the discourse of scientific observation becomes the dominant one when communicating with other agencies such as the court. The findings are discussed in relation to wider issues in contemporary social work including the bureaucratisation of social work and the nature of assessment.

农民工工伤保险关乎亿万农民工职业健康安全和国家的长治久安,将更多农民工纳入到工伤保险体系中,充分发挥农民工工伤保险的效用,享受工伤保险补偿是解决＂三农＂问题的迫切需要。发达国家特别是德国,工伤保险制度成熟,在借鉴发达国家工伤保险的有效经验基础上,必能深化农民工工伤保险,拓展农民工社会保障研究视野。当前需要渐进扩大农民工工伤保险制度的覆盖范围,强化政府的监控作用,特别是在农民工工伤预警机制、康复机制和补偿机制上下功夫,完善工伤保险制度以解决农民工后顾之忧。     

用户心理需求分析的个性化信息服务模式

当前,个性化信息服务研究已进入到快速发展阶段。在传统个性化信息服务的基础上,加入用户心理需求的研究,对用户的信息意识和信息需求加以培养和引导,提高信息服务的效率,将使现有的信息服务模式更加完整、科学和有针对性。这种充分考虑用户心理需求的个性化信息服务模式主要包括四个环节：引导用户树立强烈的信息意识、参与用户信息需求方案的制定、针对用户心理需求进行有效的信息服务以及采用“三位一体”的方式解决与用户间产生的问题和矛盾。     

On Doing Research in a Clinical Setting

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of a stand-alone personalized normative feedback (PNF) intervention targeting misperceptions of gambling among college students. Participants: Undergraduates (N = 136; 55% male) who reported gambling in the past 30 days were recruited between September 2011 and March 2012. Methods: Using a randomized clinical trial design, participants were assigned to receive either PNF or an attention control task. In addition to self-report, this study used 2 computer-based risk tasks framed as “gambling opportunities” to assess cognitive and behavioral change at 1 week post intervention. Results: After 1 week, participants receiving PNF showed a marked decrease in perception of other students’ gambling, and evinced lower risk-taking performance on 2 analog measures of gambling. Conclusions: Changes in both self-reported perceived norms and analog gambling behavior suggest that a single, stand-alone PNF intervention may modify gambling among college students. Whether it can impact gambling outside of the laboratory remains untested.     

基于中心节点重叠社区发现的协同过滤推荐系统

针对传统协同过滤中对整个用户网络进行运算的数据量较大、推荐效率不高的问题,将用户-项目二分网转化为由用户构成的社会网络,基于中心节点重叠社区发现的思想进行加权网社区划分以充分利用网络结构信息。在社区内部采用加权相似度与top-n算法相结合的方法进行项目推荐,并将Movie Lens数据集作为测试数据。通过与传统协同过滤的对比可见,基于中心节点重叠社区发现的top-n算法的个性化推荐方法在保证推荐精度的前提下,使推荐效率得到大幅度提升。     

Exploring the Context of Child Sexual Abuse in Jamaica: Addressing the Deficits

Jamaican media sources have recently noted the prevalence of child sexual abuse within the country. While research has continually noted the mental health impact of child sexual abuse, there is a dearth of literature on the relationship between the two in Jamaica. The purpose of this article is to provide the context of child sexual abuse in Jamaica, including the cultural considerations, current legislation, government created agencies, and modes of treatment. Moreover, recommendations are given for public health educators, school personnel, and mental health service providers in order to improve the psychological well-being of sexually abuse children.
