一种802.11DCF性能分析的简单方法

为了简化全互连环境饱和情况下IEEE802.11DCF的性能分析方法,采用了一种简单的盒子-球模型。研究了将活跃结点发送报文时的碰撞转换成对相同数目的球独立随机放入多个盒子问题,盒子数目与活跃节点的平均竞争窗口相关。当有多个球恰巧落入同一个盒子中时,表明相应时刻会有碰撞发生。针对结点重发次数有限的实际情况,将发送结点的状态变化看作一个一维有限状态的马尔可夫过程,提出了一种基于虚发送周期和平均竞争窗口的计算802.11DCF容量的简单方法。仿真结果验证了该方法的合理性。     

论网络虚拟财产的法律属性及特征

21世纪被称为新经济帝国时代,以网络经济为核心的经济因素越来越得到人们的重视和认可,网络虚拟财产纠纷与落后的立法之间的矛盾日益尖锐。因此,尽快制定并完善相关立法已经非常迫切。以民法中物与财产的概念辨析维度为基础,在分析学界诸多争论后提出了虚拟财产的法律属性和其民法保护的基本方式。     

When images matter: Internet child pornography, forms of observation and an ethics of the virtual

The arrest of Pete Townshend, lead guitarist for The Who, for downloading and possessing Internet child pornography and the publicity surrounding the case provides an initial point of discussion concerning the emergence of an ethics of the image that is not predicated on the actual evidential status of that image but on more virtual forms of observation. The discussion in this article focuses on three substantive aspects of this event - legislation in the UK and the US, expert psychological discourse, and public discussion in the UK press - in order to present a particular and situated rendering of forms of virtual observation. The context to this discussion concerns the notion that digital imaging technology presages a need for new legislation, law enforcement and social analytical frameworks for understanding and tackling the production, distribution and consumption of images of child sexual abuse.     

Dilemmas in planning English/vernacular relations in post‐colonial communities

In the context of globalization and post‐modern discourses, the debate about the relative status of local and dominant languages poses serious policy problems for post‐colonial communities. Critics of minority language rights (MLR) generally point out that engineering a language shift on behalf of a vernacular language – motivated by the preservationist interests, collective rights and sentimental associations of an ethnic group – is futile, as the economic and social mobilities of individuals are bound to work against this enterprise. Proponents of MLR have gone to the other extreme of essentializing the linguistic identity of minority communities, generalizing their language attitudes, and treating local language rights as non‐negotiable. This article addresses this debate in the context of the attempts to promote Tamil by the military leadership in the North and East of Sri Lanka. The paper brings together data gathered in sociolinguistic studies for four years in the Jaffna society in order to understand the reception of the language policy in everyday life. The leadership recognizes that language policy is a symbolic statement for political purposes and tolerates certain inconsistencies in policy and practice. While the community assures itself of ethnic pride and linguistic autonomy with the stated policies, it negotiates divergent interests in the gaps between the policy/practice divide. Scholars should recognize the agency of subaltern communities to negotiate language politics in creative and critical ways that transcend the limited constructs formulated to either cynically sweep aside or unduly romanticize language rights.     

从现有民族分布看我国穆斯林聚居区--以甘肃省广河县为例

本文通过运用民族学中的田野调查法,对我国现有穆斯林聚居区进行深入调查后,总结出我国现有穆斯林聚居区形成的原因及宗教、民族迁徙、民族之间的交融、自然灾害、战争等因素对我国现有穆斯林聚居区的形成所产生的影响。并且进一步探讨我国现有穆斯林聚居区的发展、变化。     

试析绿色社区作用特点及动力机制

绿色社区是指具备了一定的符合环保要求的硬件设施、建立了较完善的环境管理体系和公众参与机制的社区,其目的是通过政府与民间组织、公众的合作,把环境管理纳入社区管理,建立社区层面的公众参与机制。本文从政府主导、公众参与、宣传教育等角度分析了绿色社区的作用特点,从政府引导、利益追求、责任分担等视角阐述了绿色社区建设的动力机制。     

面对全球经济虚拟化的风险与收益分析

虚拟经济伴随经济全球化得以快速传播,国际巨额流动资本在促进参与国经济实力提升的同时,把资本主义生产方式由资本主义国家内部推向全球市场。在全球经济市场化进程中,虚拟经济通过其传导机制使世界市场更具机会与风险。当今世界不仅少数发达国家和新兴工业化国家虚拟经济蓬勃发展,社会主义国家在改革开放的同时,加快培育本国虚拟经济市场的步伐,为实现追赶与跨越式发展模式创造条件。但是,虚拟经济在向全球提供创造巨大财富机遇的同时,潜在着金融危机扫荡的风险。分析全球经济虚拟化对中国经济的风险与收益以及应对措施是十分重要的。
