概念整合对语篇外部衔接的阐释

概念整合理论是当今认知语言学家研究的焦点之一,众多学者都运用此理论从不同的角度对语篇进行了分析,本文试图以概念整合理论的核心内容即空间映射论为指导,以三种不同类型的空间映射(投射映射、语用函数映射、图示映射)为切入点来分析语篇的外部衔接。

Configuring a new business model through conceptual combination: The rise of the Huffington Post

How a successful business model (BM) is designed is a key question in the business model innovation (BMI) literature. Delving on the shared concept of BM as a configuration of components and interdependencies, we take a cognitive perspective to study the conceptual combination as a central process in BMI. We investigate the complexity of conceiving a new BM configuration, through a longitudinal study of the emergence of “The Huffington Post” which combined newspaper and blog in a disruptive and successful BM. With our research we theoretically frame the dynamic interplay between the three cognitive mechanisms of conceptual combination and the system of interdependent components of an emerging BM. Our findings unveil how the overall process unfolds and specifically delves into the dynamic iteration of composing and experimenting with the new configuration until the overall coherence is reached. Hence, we advance the literature by showing how the conceptual combination of a new BM is a complex effort and comprises some iterative cycles, vital to reach a coherent configuration which could secure a superior performance.

隐喻不仅是一种语言手段,而且还是一种思维方式,它的研究已从传统的修辞学进入了认知科学。本文在介绍隐喻的实质：替代论、比较论和互动论的基础上,从认知的角度以大量的例子详细阐述了概念隐喻认知语言学研究对多义词和习语的影响,让英语学习者和教学者都能够在词汇习得中获益。     

概念隐喻理论对隐喻理解的优化

传统的修辞学、哲学和语言学对隐喻的研究均未对隐喻的内涵范围、表现形式、以及隐喻的产生和理解过程,展开科学系统的界定和研究。二十世纪七、八十年代兴起的认识语言学将语言的隐喻表达看作人类共有的概念隐喻体系的外在表征。认知视域的概念隐喻理论引导人们将隐喻理解为人类将身体经验所获取的认知向未知抽象领域的映射。人类通过隐喻映射来认知未知的、为身体经验所不能感触的抽象世界。     

逻辑转喻的认知语义阐释

以往对逻辑转喻的研究主要以Pustejovsky的生成词库理论为代表,但该理论对逻辑转喻的解释力不足。因而将逻辑转喻置于认知语义学视角下,基于Fillmore的语义框架理论和Croft的认知域凸显理论建构逻辑转喻的框架元素凸显模式,将逻辑转喻理解为概念转喻在句法层面的意义体现,逻辑转喻中充当论元的事物名词作为语义框架中一部分以认知凸显方式为整个语义框架提供心理可及。     

舆情概念辨析

＂舆情＂是一个被广泛应用,但又缺乏普遍共识的本土概念。本文对中国历史上舆情一词的缘起、运用、当前我国学术界对舆情概念的界定进行了梳理与评述,并在此基础上分析了中国＂舆情＂与西方＂public opinion＂概念的关系及区别。     

反语运用中的语境与概念转喻探究

反语运用中的语境包括言语交际者的主体因素和运用环境的客观因素,它往往能起到暗示和限制的作用。反语运用涉及到的是整体的部分之间相互转换而产生的转喻,话语p之所以能够转指话语-P,是因为话语P的认知突显度高于话语-P,始源域之所以能够激活目标域,并为目标域提供心理通道,是基于这两个概念实体间的邻近性,话语p与话语-p在语义方面呈现出反向相邻性,说话人运用反语转喻而不直言跟说话人的意图有关,概念转喻是反语意义发生转移的心理必经之路。     

Do cows belong in nature? The cultural basis of agriculture in Sweden and Australia

Within the now extensive recent literature on cultures of nature, agriculture has received less attention than might have been expected given its threshold role in transforming human relations with the earth and with plants and animals. The concept and practice of agriculture can be understood as central to the emergence and maintenance of the culture/nature dichotomy within Western thought and practice. In this paper we use the comparative cases of Sweden and Australia to examine the differential and contingent positioning of agriculture with respect to that which is understood as nature. Broadly speaking, some parts of agriculture are understood to belong to nature in Sweden through a long history. This is not the case in Australia, where the short agricultural history is positioned in contrast to nature. This affects the way in which biodiversity and environmental protection takes place - in Sweden as part of farming, - in Australia in spite of it. We argue that these cultural differences have been more important than generally recognised in debates over multifunctional agriculture. We discuss the environmental management implications of the two different models in a context made more dynamic by climate change.

追溯了西方隐喻研究的历史,梳理和归纳出五种主要研究理论:“替代论”、“比较论”、“互动论”、“映射论”和“概念合成论”,指出这五种理论的发展是一种在不断否定中彼此相承相续的演进过程。尽管各种理论都是在超越前人的基础上发展而来,可自身却又带有明显的缺陷。文章在讨论介绍各种理论的要旨的同时,析解了各自所作出的贡献及存在的不足。
