论20世纪80年代广西电视文艺创作

本文梳理20世纪80年代广西电视文艺创作实绩,勾勒其发展轨迹,认为它在这一诞生时期经历了断奶与催生、扩大与兴起的两个阶段,在电视剧、电视文艺专题、电视综艺晚会等方面取得了可喜成绩,并且构建了播放平台,集结了创作队伍,积累了艺术经验,呈现了兴起态势,为后来的快速发展奠定了坚实基础,也为民族地区电视文艺的形成作出了独特贡献。     

Corporate actors in Western European television news

News about corporations can be understood as an interdependent relationship among the public relations function, organizational logic and the logic of the media. This research addresses the visibility and role of corporate actors in Western European public television news. A quantitative content analysis was conducted of a representative sample of six primetime news programs (N = 139) in 2006. The results show that corporate actors do not appear very often in the news, that they are part of a civil-economic coalition and join the public debate about issues. Promotion of products, brands and organizations is hardly visible.     

Delivering a Social Work MSW Program through Distance Education: An Innovative Collaboration between Two Universities,USA

The Joint Master of Social Work Program of Cleveland State University and The University of Akron was the first MSW program taught entirely via distance education that was fully accredited by the Council of Social Work Education. Over the past nine years, the Joint MSW Program has grown from one cohort of 24 full‐time students to a program with an enrollment of 186 full‐time, part‐time and Advanced Standing students. This innovative Joint MSW Program has required an ongoing process of collaboration, refinement, and flexibility. The purpose of this article is to provide a narrative of the experiences of delivering an entire MSW program via distance education, including obstacles that have been overcome as well as recommendations for other programs considering distance education.

电视节目的故事化已经成为中国电视界的新潮流和新趋势,“故事”成为各大电视媒体竞争的新资源。这种独特的叙事风格,不仅得到了电视人的追捧,更受到了观众的广泛喜爱。故事化带给中国电视的不仅仅是一种倾向,更是一种理念。通过细细梳理电视节目故事化的艺术特征、流行原因及其长期发展的策略,揭示了电视节目故事化存在的必然性和未来的发展趋势。     

The Consumer Gains from Direct Broadcast Satellites and the Competition with Cable TV

This paper examines direct broadcast satellites (DBS) as a competitor to cable. We first estimate a structural consumer level demand system for satellite, basic cable, premium cable and local antenna using micro data on almost 30000 households in 317 markets, including extensive controls for unobserved product quality and allowing the distribution of unobserved tastes to follow a fully flexible multivariate normal distribution. The estimated elasticity of expanded basic is about ‐15, with the demand for premium cable and DBS more elastic. The results identify strong correlations in the taste for different products not captured in conventional logit models. Estimates of the supply response of cable suggest that without DBS entry cable prices would be about 15 percent higher and cable quality would fall. We find a welfare gain of between $127 and $190 per year (aggregate $2.5 billion) for satellite buyers, and about $50 (aggregate $3 billion) for cable subscribers.

在蒙古族题材电视剧中,有这样一些具有史诗品格的革命历史题材作品。它们或以真人来叙事,如《青年乌兰夫》,或以真事来述人,如《草原春来早》、《我的鄂尔多斯》,充分展现蒙古族人民团结统一、独立自强的可歌可泣的民族精神,它们是中国红色文化中必不可少的一部分。蒙古族题材电视剧充分发挥电视剧的涵化作用,强化民族文化符号的使用,力求满足受众的心理来传播红色文化精神。     

广告对青年女性形象的建构作用——以20世纪30年代《申报》图片广告为例

20世纪30年代《申报》的青年女性图片广告,在当时特立独行地塑造出了与其时代相一致的青年女性形象。它不仅是报业史上探索媒介经营的先驱和范本,更是研究当时上海大都会文化和城市气质构建的样本。当时的广告文本与当代审美文化中的广告内容有诸多共通之处:营造优雅、健康、文明的现代日常市民生活氛围,对传统审美文化的承继,对时尚美和健康美的追求,对自由独立生活的渴望。当代青年女性广告文化的内涵和策略,在那里可以找到萌芽和渊源。这对于现今广告人构建青年女性的图片广告以及塑造人物形象具有参考价值。
