A Case Study Using Photovoice to Explore Racial and Social Identity Among Young Black Men: Implications for Social Work Research and Practice

This article describes an exploratory qualitative case study using a research method novel to social work known as Photovoice. This case study of the Photovoice process assesses its value as a community-based participatory research (CBPR) method with marginalized communities within social work research. Photovoice was used to engage young Black men as researchers into their own lived experience. Through a photographic and group participatory project, participants discussed how intersections of race, gender, and sexuality affect their lives and health. While this methodology has proliferated within public health literature, little research exists within social work. Photovoice represents a research well-aligned with core social work values of empowerment and social justice. This method offers our profession a participatory, action-oriented tool to inform practice and policy and does so in the voices of communities who often go unheard.     

Psychometric properties of the “parent-child relationship inventory” (PCRI) in a portuguese forensic sample

In Portugal, there is a gap regarding psychological tests validated for forensic contexts, particularly those related to child custody issues. The Parent–Child Relationship Inventory (PCRI) is one of the most used instruments in child custody contexts. This study aimed to analyze the psychometric properties of PCRI in a Portuguese forensic sample. PCRI factorial structure and psychometric properties were analyzed in a sample of 144 parents involved in child custody assessments. The questionnaire showed good internal consistency, except for the parental support, autonomy, and role orientation scales. It also showed good discriminant capacity. The confirmatory factor analysis did not replicate the 7-factor model proposed by Gerard. The results were discussed based on the use of PCRI in the context of child custody assessment.     

Analysis of Spanish policies for the integration of immigrant schoolchildren

The Organic Law on the Improvement of the National Education Quality (Ley Orgánica de Reforma de la Calidad Educativa) readdressed one of the most significant educational issues: educational policies related to immigrant students. Therefore, this is an appropriate moment to evaluate these types of policies in three singular Spanish regions: Madrid, Catalonia and Andalusia. This article presents an analysis of the measures taken in three Spanish regions: Madrid, Catalonia and Andalusia in response to students’ reception, acceptance and enrolment of immigrant students. A qualitative methodology based on the comparative method is used. Diverse similarities, but also specific characteristics and differences, can be found among the three models associated with each region. There are several significant differences that can be appreciated, such as the institutional role, as well as other specific measures. However, singular features are also identified, such as the diverse policies for the use of the vehicular language in each of the cases. Finally, the comparisons highlight various critical aspects, such as attention devoted to the students’ native language and progress towards intercultural education in school strategies and planning.

角色参照语法的分析框架及其解释能力探析

角色参照语法是20世纪70年代以来发展起来的一种结构功能语法。论文尝试评述其主要的语法分析框架,并以英语和汉语为例探究其对不同语言的解释能力。角色参照语法成功地将语篇、语用因素融入到句法结构的分析之中,因此,它不仅能够较好地解释英语等形合语言的结构特征,也适用于具有意合特征的汉语等语言的结构分析。角色参照语法比传统的形式语法具有更大的灵活性和适用性。

社会工作方法与思想政治工作的创新

在思想政治教育中,借鉴社会工作中平等待人的观念、服务的观念和受教育者自决的观念,引进个案工作、团体工作、社区工作等社会工作方法,可以有效地充实思想政治教育的内容、改进思想政治教育的方式、提高思想政治教育的效果。将社会工作的价值理念及其方法运用于思想政治教育工作中,是使之实现创新的重要途径。     

夏文化探索中的方法问题——"夏商周断代工程"结题后的反思(二)

目前,学术界公认中国历史上有个夏代。但由于文献记载太过简略,使后人对当时的社会历史状况知之甚少。在这种情况下,人们寄希望于考古工作者从地下找到夏代遗存。然而,在夏文化探索中,由于研究者的思路与所用方法不同,故而得出的结论也明显有异。由此,出现争论与分歧。于是,如何鉴别相关结论是否合理可信就成为学术界同人思索的问题。本文在对夏文化探索的现状进行回顾的基础上,围绕文化因素分析法与都城分析法,对分歧及其缘由作了详细探讨。文中还就坚持正确思路,采用科学方法。按科学规程操作对夏文化探索工作的重要性,谈了自己的看法。     

双循环驱动我国城市产业转移效应研究

基于201个城市的相关数据,利用动态面板模型和空间杜宾模型,实证分析了内循环、外循环和双循环对产业转移的影响。研究结果表明：前期产业转移在一定程度上会影响后期产业转移,前一期当地产业比例较大,其后产业转移受到的促进作用也较大;内循环、外循环和双循环均对产业转移起到显著的正向促进作用,东部城市受到的促进作用略高于中西部城市;要素流动在产业转移中发挥着重要作用,劳动力要素流动、技术要素流动和资本要素流动不仅受到内、外循环和双循环的促进作用,同时对产业转移也起到一定的促进作用;产业转移具有空间相关性,产业在空间上倾向于向产业转入较高的城区转移。为此,我国在政策上应进一步加快推动内循环,促进外循环,关注要素流动在产业转移中的重要作用,合理分配要素资源。
