穿越小说和穿越电视剧等“穿越”现象作为大众文化快餐中的一个热点,用传统的经典叙事理论来研究它会有很大局限。拟从大众文化的角度来研究网络“穿越”小说,旨在探讨网络穿越小说的迅速流行与它的叙事模式、叙事策略及时代语境的关系。研究认为:穿越小说在故事内容及人物形象的塑造上形成了一定的叙述模式,这种类型化的模式便于读者的接受和理解;在叙事策略上,穿越小说紧扣现代白领的现实生活需求,从权谋和言情两个方面满足读者的心理需求;在与时代语境的契合方面,通过反复叙述“灰姑娘”这一文学母体和“成功梦”,形成了其独特的“造梦机制”。  相似文献

20世纪90年代以来的家庭伦理剧在叙事样态上呈现的特点是受众心理与时代文化的“共谋”。为满足观众补偿现实生活之不足的心理需求,在叙事主旨、叙事精神上表现出回归传统伦理道德、彰显底层与民粹的倾向;受观众认知现实的观看心理的影响,在视觉图谱和风格上呈现出现实主义的平民世界图景;为满足观众的娱乐心理,家族伦理剧在伦理形态上呈现出快乐伦理的指向。研究表明,90年代以来的家族伦理电视剧所呈现出的上述叙事样态与受众的补偿心理、认知心理以及娱乐心理互为生成。  相似文献

The idea of ‘teaching’ reflexivity might seem to some to be a nonsense but many students, both undergraduate and postgraduate, struggle with ‘it’ as a concept, a process and as a means of moving away from simplistic themed research categories towards in‐depth interpretation. This paper will examine the nature of reflexivity from the perspective of a personal stance and suggest the use of particular strategies for interpreting data reflexively. Such strategies include the use of biographical accounts and organising principles, the exploration of metaphor and metonymy and the utilisation of poetry as an interpretative device. It will offer particular ways of undertaking reflexive interpretation that have been used successfully with many postgraduate students and researchers.  相似文献

This article is located in the field of custody and day‐to‐day care, with a focus on experiences of mothering where mothers no longer have everyday care of their children. At the time of writing, tens of thousands of mothers live separately from their children in Aotearoa, New Zealand. However, there is a general perception of rarity associated with non‐resident mothers, partly due to their reluctance to speak of loss of custody. In this article, we develop a theoretical discussion around the inside/outside relationships between non‐resident mothers and their children that informs therapeutic practice. We argue that mothers who live apart from their children are situated at the edge or periphery of their children's day‐to‐day lives and experience this as outside the lives of their children. Nevertheless, mothers' stories speak of qualities of (m)othering that have been born of and nurtured by longstanding and long‐term commitment to their children.  相似文献

This paper examines how speakers deploy narrative devices in talking about Sudanese refugees. Particularly, we show how narrative constructions form an important basis for the advancement of accounts about integration problems into the local polity. We analyse talkback ‘phone‐in’ calls to a local Adelaide radio station that provide callers an opportunity to give accounts of events and social phenomena that concern them in their local settings. Analysis shows that speakers regularly deployed narrative constructions, first‐hand ‘witnessing’ devices that functioned to legitimate accounts as veridical versions of events, and contrast devices to explicate the moral and behavioural aberrance of Sudanese refugees. The analysis illustrates how these discursive devices function rhetorically in interaction, in ways that differentiate Sudanese refugees as problematic. Through this analysis, we contend that narrative devices precipitate and bolster socio‐political policies that have serious, negative consequences for Sudanese refugees.  相似文献

Homemaking is associated with domiciled family life, community, and secure work. Moving beyond this perspective, we explore the experiences of people dislocated from family, community, and work, and their efforts to make a place for themselves. We consider a homeless man's efforts to make a home on the streets of Auckland in the absence of positive social ties, employment, and a domiciled abode. This case draws upon an auto-biographical interview, three photo-production projects and three photo-elicitation interviews with Daniel. We consider Daniel's profound sense of loneliness and efforts at imagining a domiciled home beyond the streets where he can forge meaningful relationships. Daniel is now re-housed, in part, as a result of insights from this research being used in social work practice.  相似文献

Although the Chernobyl nuclear disaster happened in the Soviet Union in 1986, we still do not know how the most affected states – Ukraine and Belarus – have managed this tragedy since independence. Drawing on the concept of cultural trauma, this article compares Chernobyl narratives in Belarus and Ukraine over the past 28 years. It shows that national narratives of Chernobyl differ, representing the varying ways in which the state overcomes trauma. Our understanding of post‐communist transformations can be improved by analysing trauma management narratives and their importance for new national identity construction. These narratives also bring new insights to our vision of cultural trauma by linking it to ontological insecurity. The article demonstrates how the state can become an arena of trauma process as it commands material and symbolic resources to deal with trauma. In general, it contributes to a better understanding of how the same traumatic event can become a source of solidarity in one community, but a source of hostility in another.  相似文献

The illness narratives presented in this paper were video‐recorded as part of child patient–staff interaction, during more than a year of ethnographic fieldwork at a paediatric oncology centre. The two children tended to ‘do illness’ differently, producing different types of narrative accounts. One of them presented accounts that invoked ‘fight’ metaphors, whereas the other one invoked patient identities. Also, the medical staff deployed different interactional strategies with different children in response to their narrative constructions of themselves and their leukaemia.  相似文献

英国20世纪初的女作家拉德克利夫·霍尔的《孤寂深渊》,是英语文学中的第一部女同性恋小说,被誉为"女同性恋者的圣经"。《鳄鱼手记》是当代台湾著名女同性恋作家邱妙津最成熟的小说之一,突破了之前同题材作品情欲规避的传统,在台湾女同性恋文学史上具有开拓性的意义。霍尔和邱妙津本身都是同性恋者,这两部都源自于作家本人切身体验的作品,通过不同的母题、叙事风格和叙事策略,展现了在不同文化环境中的女同性恋者应对男权与异性恋社会的方式的差异性。  相似文献
