“无媒不婚”：家庭策略下的农村打工青年婚配模式研究

以“媒人”在整个婚配过程中的工作流程,即搜集信息—传递信息—见证婚姻的过程为切入点,考察了豫北农村打工青年的婚配模式及其特征。研究发现,打工青年的婚配模式具有传统的“形式”,即“无媒不婚”的特征,但这种婚配模式却拥有新的“内容”,即它是在男性打工青年遭遇择偶困境的情况下,作为行动主体的农民家庭动员多方面资源做出的策略性反应的结果,其逻辑无关乎个人自主性增减的问题,而在于村庄社会结构变迁与家庭及其成员策略性应对之间的交互影响。由此回应了青年婚姻研究中的“浪漫革命”命题,同时也加深了对中国人家庭性质的理解。     

信仰缺失:无法挥去的迷茫论当代青年的信仰选择

西方人的信仰缺失从"上帝之死"开始,东方人的信仰缺失从体制转换中滋生.在人生与社会均更需要信仰的今日世界,必须高度重视当代中国青年信仰缺失的结果无条件服从社会与国家的单一化人生追求正在为个人色彩突出的多样化人生追求取代.要从历史的昭示与现实的坐标中引导他们选择贯通历史现实未来的科学理性的精神信仰.     

论和谐社会视域中的青少年廉洁文化教育

当前我国腐败现象滋生蔓延的文化诱因在于廉洁文化的缺失。新时期我们所倡导的廉洁文化,主要包括精神层面、制度层面、物质层面等三个层面,廉洁的社会文化、政治文化、职业文化、组织文化等具体四个方面的内涵。不能把廉洁文化简单的等同于廉政文化,要认识到廉洁文化教育主体是青少年而不是政府领导干部,要加强对青少年廉洁文化教育必要性的研究。青少年廉洁文化教育的应以政府为主导、以学校为载体、以学生为主体,逐步将青少年廉洁文化教育引向深入,构建青少年廉洁文化教育的长效机制。     

农村未婚青年生殖健康现状及需求研究

本文根据对农村未婚青年生殖健康现状问卷调查和座谈调查的结果,对农村未婚在业青年的生殖健康现状及其对婚前性行为、人工流产的态度进行了分析研究,同时还探讨了农村未婚青年对计划生育服务的需求,最后还就提高农村未婚青年生殖健康水平提出了一些对策性建议。     

当代中国青年文化的后殖民特征

青年文化的“差异”特征决定了其在消费社会中与消费主义的共谋。但是,中国的教育与媒介文化使得中国青年的消费主义更具有后殖民的可能性。在权力的霸权压制下,中国当代的青年文化呈现出全球化想像与模仿特征。     

The identity of memory and the memory of identity in the age of commodification and democratization

Abstract

This article explores the relationship between secularization and commodification of culture on one hand, and national identity always represented as Christian mystery on the other. Focusing on three case studies, Poland, Quebec and Zaire, the author analyses the place of an ordinary object (commodity) as a vehicle of representation of people's affirmation of belonging to a ‘nation’. He stresses the disposable nature of such an affirmation of belonging which allows everyone to alter or cast off the symbols of belonging while changing their social or political contexts.     

‘All Those Stories,All Those Stories’: How Do Bosnian Former Child Refugees Maintain Connections to Bosnia and Community Groups in Australia?

Abstract

This article draws on oral histories from my PhD research to explore how six teenagers, now adults, remember their arrivals in Australia as child refugees from Bosnia. It examines their relationships with other people from Bosnia and the former Yugoslavia, including community groups, and how these relationships have changed over time. In examining these narratives, issues of intergenerational differences are highlighted, with interviewees positioning their experiences in relation to both their parents and their second-generation peers. Finally, it explores how former refugees maintain their relationships with family and friends in Bosnia, suggesting that these transnational connections provide them with as much familiarity and comfort as they do feelings of alienation.     

Unravelling Memories of Family Separation Among Sri Lankan Tamils Resettled in Australia, 1983–2000

Abstract

Using life story interviews with 10 Sri Lankan Tamil refugees resettled in Australia, this article shows how family separation in experiences of civil war and resettlement produce long-lasting and emotional memories of fear and determination. The findings explore how young Tamil people gave meaning to family when they interacted with key individuals and negotiated cultural practices in different spaces. Moreover, intergenerational family narratives emerged as a key practice through which Tamils preserved the family identity. The analysis demonstrates how and when family separation can manifest in personal memories to reveal stories of agency and resilience. A critical engagement of the past can help to better understand concepts of childhood in relation to family and family separation in war affected diaspora communities.
