人性化管理思想的现代运用

人是生产力中最活跃的因素,员工积极性、创造力和增值潜力是组织发展的力量源泉,因此对人的管理也成为组织管理中决定性的因素。而对人的管理的核心问题始终都是对人性问题的研究。当代管理学对人性的假设由经济人、社会人、自我实现人向复杂人转变,而管理理念正在发生根本性的变革,促使管理从科学管理和人际关系管理,向人性化管理转化。由此,探讨和研究人性化管理问题具有较强的现实意义。     

不同语言输入方式与第二语言习得成就之间的关系

问卷调查和一个学期的教学实验表明:对大多数的英语学习者而言,第二语言最常用的输入方式是读,其次是听,读与其四级成绩表现出显著的相关性;且阅读班成绩(每天课后额外阅读2篇文章,难度为i+1)包括平均成绩和阅读单项成绩都明显高于听力班(每天额外听同样的2篇文章)的相应成绩。     

Bayesian point null hypothesis testing via the posterior likelihood ratio

This paper gives an exposition of the use of the posterior likelihood ratio for testing point null hypotheses in a fully Bayesian framework. Connections between the frequentist P-value and the posterior distribution of the likelihood ratio are used to interpret and calibrate P-values in a Bayesian context, and examples are given to show the use of simple posterior simulation methods to provide Bayesian tests of common hypotheses.     

ASYMPTOTIC EXPANSIONS APPLIED TO F-TEST CRITERIA

Using asymptotic expansions of the Kummer hypergeometric function, the sequential. F-test criterion is evaluated asymptotically in terms of the sample size. The continuation region inequalities for the test are inverted and expressed in terms of known test criteria. A rapidly converging algorithm for carrying out the sequential procedure is provided. This makes the F-test easier for the practitioner to use. Almost sure finite termination of the sequential. F-test is asserted by appealing to the continuation inequalities and a heuristic asymptotic expansion of the test criterion. Average stopping times of the sequential procedure for a variety of population means and population number configurations are tabulated. The computer symbolic manipulation program MAPLE was used to derive some formulae.

A bayesian test for a two-way contingency table using independence priors

One method of testing for independence in a two-way table is based on the Bayes factor, the ratio of the likelihoods under the independence hypothesis H and the alternative hypothesis H. The main difficulty in this approach is the specification of prior distributions on the composite hypotheses H and H. A new Bayesian test statistic is constructed by using a prior distribution on H that is concentrated about the “independence surface” H. Approximations are proposed which simplify the computation of the test statistic. The values of the Bayes factor are compared with values of statistics proposed by Gunel and Dickey (1974), Good and Crook (1987), and Spiegelhalter and Smith (1982) for a number of two-way tables. This investigation suggests a strong relationship between the new statistic and the p-value.
