Testing independence based on Bernstein empirical copula and copula density

In this paper we provide three nonparametric tests of independence between continuous random variables based on the Bernstein copula distribution function and the Bernstein copula density function. The first test is constructed based on a Cramér-von Mises divergence-type functional based on the empirical Bernstein copula process. The two other tests are based on the Bernstein copula density and use Cramér-von Mises and Kullback–Leibler divergence-type functionals, respectively. Furthermore, we study the asymptotic null distribution of each of these test statistics. Finally, we consider a Monte Carlo experiment to investigate the performance of our tests. In particular we examine their size and power which we compare with those of the classical nonparametric tests that are based on the empirical distribution function.     

Uniform in bandwidth consistency for various kernel estimators involving functional data

The paper investigates various nonparametric models including regression, conditional distribution, conditional density and conditional hazard function, when the covariates are infinite dimensional. The main contribution is to prove uniform in bandwidth asymptotic results for kernel estimators of these functional operators. Then, the application issues, involving data-driven bandwidth selection, are discussed.     

协调对华经贸政策的角色：从总统到中美高层经济对话

冷战后,美国在对华经贸政策的制定过程中,包括总统、国会和各行政部门在内的政策主张不一,不时发生对抗,反映出其部门间协调性机制的缺位。近年来,美国财政部牵头下的中美战略经济对话和国务院领导下的中美高层对话构成了中关经济对话的新型机制,弥补了美方对华经贸政策制定中用以协调本国国内各部门政策立场的制度性缺陷,为稳定和助推两国经贸发展提供了一个非常必要的有利机制。     

泛北部湾经济合作面临的挑战和发展前景

泛北部湾经济合作的提出引起了各方关注,但由于内外部各种因素的影响和制约,它至今仍停留在理论层面,未取得实质性发展。从泛北部湾经济合作的预期目标出发,结合现实情况来看,该经济合作机制面临的诸多挑战值得引起重视。然而,只要采取务实态度,其发展前景还是可观的。     

不同种植密度下氮肥对马铃薯产量构成的影响

在大田栽培条件下,研究了不同的种植密度和施氮量对马铃薯的单株薯重、产量、块茎的淀粉含量和商品率的影响。结果表明：密度和施氮量分别为79500彬hm^2、225kg／hm^2时,单株薯重、产量、商品薯率达到最大值;畸病薯率随施氮量不同没有规率性变化;种植密度大,块茎的淀粉含量反而减小。

中国各地区市场化进程区位分布的空间效应研究

 本文从空间分析的角度研究各地区市场化进程的空间效应及其对区域经济增长绩效的影响,空间计量经济分析的结果表明市场化进程的空间分布在整个样本区间与GDP、资本和劳动一样呈现出集聚的趋势,区域差异显著,各地区的市场化进程在地理空间上存在显著的自相关关系,证实了各地区市场化进程存在制度溢出效应。因此,在研究各地区市场化进程与经济增长关系时必须考虑其空间效应的影响,基于此结论本文运用空间计量模型测算了各地区市场化进程对经济增长的贡献。结果证实,考虑了空间效应后,市场化进程在1998～2001年阶段对经济增长的贡献约为6.2％,在2002～2005年阶段约为10.8％,这表明了市场化对中国的经济增长起到了重要的作用,而且近年来的贡献愈加显著。     

我国消费、投资、净出口与经济增长

 消费、投资与出口通常并称为拉动经济增长的三驾马车,对经济增长产生重要作用。同时,经济增长也影响着它们的规模。针对这种情况,本文通过建立联立方程模型以及脉冲响应函数,对我国经济1978-2006年的历史数据进行实证分析,揭示我国改革开放以来它们之间的关系。     

The t-information and its use in multivariate problems and time-series analysis

The second moment of recently introduced scalar inference function can be viewed as generalized Fisher information of the continuous probability distributions. In this paper we call it the t-information and give some possible applications of the new concept.
