Is relationship and marriage education relevant and appropriate to child welfare?

Child welfare professionals (CWPs) have historically been ignored as a potential delivery system of relationship and marriage education (RME). Based on a sample of 1015 CWPs from two states, the current study shows that CWPs believe promoting healthy couple and marital relationships is relevant to the families they serve and their work, and that they are open to receiving RME training. Results from structural equation modeling indicate that CWPs' beliefs about the relevancy and appropriateness of RME may be influenced by their current RME ability and comfort level, their beliefs about the state of marriage and the prevalence of couples in their current caseload of families they serve. Implications related to promoting RME within child welfare and engaging CWPs in RME training are discussed.

在法治社会,爱国行为教育既要从道德层面着手,又要重视法律视角的培育,还应强调两个维度的相互作用并统一于爱国主义政治原则之下。对大学生而言,政治正确是爱国行为教育的原则,理性爱国是爱国行为教育的基调,依法爱国是爱国行为教育的界限,德法互动是爱国行为教育的规律。     

Women Aging Together in Community

SUMMARY

At a fiftieth birthday party 17 years ago, a group of women—lesbian, bisexual, and straight—decided to create a conscious community in which they could age together. The group, where they discuss this process and support each other, is politically and personally meaningful, and a buffer against the isolation and powerlessness many aging women experience. They meet monthly, and at weekend retreats twice a year. They have become a “family of choice,” sharing holidays and celebrations and supporting each other when necessary and possible. After several years, they decided to commit for life. In the group, each feels held and seen in the complex experience of aging in today's world.     

榜样的力量：社会学习理论在戒毒同伴教育中的应用——以上海市自强总社“涅檠重生同伴辅导教育小组”为例

班杜拉的社会学习理论强调环境因素、个人认知和行为之间的相互作用，观察和模仿是学习的重要途径。上海市自强总社开展的同伴教育活动在运用社会学习理论的基础上充分发挥了同伴辅导员的榜样示范作用，有利于药物滥用人员自我效能感的提升，从而达到生理脱毒、心理康复、回归社会的目的。     

NEW MEDIA AND DISTANCE EDUCATION: AN EU-US PERSPECTIVE

This paper presents an overview of the development of new media in the secondary and higher education systems of the European Union (EU) and USA. A combination of driving forces in pedagogical thinking, technological progress and business models have raised new expectations for the wide-spread use of educational technology, such as by providing major market opportunities as in the adult training segment. Many public sector and private commercial initiatives for connecting schools to the Internet, first adopted in the USA, and then in member states of the EU, have met with marked success. Most of the secondary schools are, or are being, wired, if but to a limited extent. The diffusion of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in the EU schools is particularly rapid given their initially low penetration rate. If American organizations are indeed leading the development of online courses and programmes in the higher education sector, European universities have now realized the importance of investing in this field. However, for new media to significantly improve the educational process in the EU and in the USA, they must be embodied in the complex school or university environment, and be nurtured by new partnerships between business and the academy.

本文是应邀在2001年国家高级教育行政学院“中德大学教育质量管理学术研讨会”上所作的演讲论文.论文以浙江师范大学为例,探讨了高等教育规模发展与质量保证之间存在的紧张关系和应对策略.论文的主要观点是,必须在发展的前提下重视质量问题,同时应将质量保证的工作落实到整个发展的过程中.     

我国农村学前教育政策的实施现状与执行策略

城乡之间存在的学前教育差异,学前教育在国民教育体系中的地位长期得不到认可,以及当代国民经济的持续发展等因素构成了我国学前教育政策的现实背景。继相关学前教育政策颁布实施以后,我国农村学前教育也随之发生了可喜变化。但部分地区的农村学前教育还面临着教师素质、经费投入、政府管理等方面的困难,使学前教育政策执行面临较大的挑战。这需要政策执行过程完善相关的执行手段、加大政策资源投入、提高执行人员素质、加强政策实施过程的监控。
