全球化背景下社会主义国家面临的挑战及其对策

全球化作为当今世界发展不可逆转的趋势,对社会主义发展既带来了一些有利条件,也在政治、经济、文化等方面提出了严峻挑战。对此,社会主义国家要抓住机遇,迎接挑战,就必须积极参与全球化进程并从各方面深化改革,使全球化朝着有利于社会主义的方向发展。     

论全球化进程中民族精神的弘扬和培育

民族精神是一个民族赖以生存和发展的精神支撑。全球化引起了世界范围内不同思想文化的相互激荡,在一定程度上弱化了当代人的民族国家意识。全球化进程中弘扬和培育民族精神的关键是我们要提高重视、抓住契机,立足于本国现实,紧密结合全球化的实际,以"三个代表"重要思想为指导,积极进行文化创新,大力推进民族精神的弘扬和培育。     

多元语境文化与世界语言格式探究

在全球化浪潮的冲击下,世界语言文化的发展将走向哪里?本文从经济全球化与民族文化多元发展的动因分析、权力分配变化导致的民族传统语言复苏、英语的语言变体等三个方面剖析了全球化并非是单一化与体系化的关系,而是多元化与相互交融的趋势。

东南亚华人的地域认同,是华人研究的课题之一.按照其历史形态的演化过程,可以从心理地理空间认同、政治地理空间认同和跨国社会地理空间认同这个三重性维度进行考察.     

中国文化现代化的矛盾冲突

中国在追求现代化的过程中,从一开始就遇到了文化普遍性与文化特殊性之间的矛盾冲突。这种矛盾冲突表现为全球化的体验与本土化的抗争、同质化的隐忧与文化安全意识的觉醒、文化结构的等级化与去中心化、文化价值的蔓延与冲突的普遍化等形式。     

Relational rurals: Some thoughts on relating things and theory in rural studies

This paper considers how shifts within the social sciences towards conceptualising spatiality in relational terms have unfolded in rural studies in particular ways over the past decade or so. A period in which networks, connections, flows and mobility have all established themselves as compelling conceptual frames for research, the rural has increasingly been recast in relational terms as a multi-authored and multi-faceted space, constituted through local-global interconnections and their place specific, sometimes contested, manifestations. In this way, the multiple meanings of the rural continues to be a focus of critical concern, as are the implications ‘of’ and ‘in’ rural spaces for some of the major issues currently being faced by governments and citizens around the world; including climate change and food security. Apprehending the complexity of the rural in these terms, we argue, requires not only thinking space relationally, but at the same time being epistemologically relational or theoretically pluralist. That is, recognising the co-constituent production of rural space through material and discursive phenomenon, processes and practices, and thus the value of existing theoretical resources (social constructionism, political and economic materialism) in relation with the critical and rigorous appraisal of ‘new’ concepts and ideas to better comprehend rural space in its multidimensional complexity and particularity. To this end, we identify Cindi Katz's notion of ‘countertopography’ as a promising conceptual and methodological addition to the rural scholar's toolkit insofar as it attends to a politics of location and differentation in relation to global processes. We conclude our discussion by sketching out possible objects of countertopographical analysis for understanding ongoing processes of change in rural space(s).

促进我国产业升级,必须高度重视经济全球化发展的新态势,而这主要体现在3个方面:区域性合作势头增强,国际产业转移速度加快并形成多向特点;跨国公司作为经济全球化的主要载体,其全球拓展的组织形态尤其是总部形态呈现多样化。在产业升级的过程中,关注开放性和拓展国际视野应采取6项举措,即:在继续扩大对外开放中,促进产业增量升级;在国际购并中推进产业升级;在优化出口结构中带动产业升级;在创造跨国公司总部、地区分部以及功能性组织发展环境中优化产业升级;在帮助企业"走出去"的过程中扶持产业升级;在融入区域合作经济发展中支撑产业升级。     

Trade, education, and innovation: Prospects for the U.S. economy

This paper examines international trade issues as vital indicators of the economic prospects of the United States and other developed economies. In particular, it challenges misuses of the doctrine of mutual gains from trade and instead argues that comparative advantage does not guarantee increases in benefits to both trading partners—especially when one partner seeks to distort the market mechanism in its favor. In the face of such mercantilist or protectionist practices, efforts to advance innovation, without retaining manufacturing jobs, will not ensure continued prosperity, as the number of jobs entailed in the invention process is small compared with the number of jobs associated with manufacturing an innovative product for mass consumption. These matters call for the urgent rethinking of trade policy by the United States and other developed nations, if they are to balance their imports and exports and ensure continued economic growth.     

全球化背景下的中国法治进路——以整合发展观为视角

由于东西方文化的差异,对法治的理解和实践也不尽相同.在经济全球化的今天,中国一方面必须吸收和接受外来法治观念和法律制度,另一方面还要保持自身个性,以使法治发展适应自身的经济、政治和社会文化传统的要求.基于法治发展的这种两难状态,本文结合中国自身实际,引入了一种法治的新发展观--整合发展观,并在此基础上审视探析法治在中国实现的可能途径,从而提出在中国实现法治应当对法治要素进行位次排序.     

文化自觉与中华智慧

经济全球化所带来的不同区域的文化冲突与融合 ,使得“文化自觉”的问题日益紧迫地突显出来。因为只有首先获得了“文化自觉”,才有可能最大限度地避免冲突 ,才有可能最为合理地实现融合 ,才有可能最为持久地推动发展 ,从而逐步达到费孝通先生所倡导的“各美其美 ,美人之美 ,美美与共 ,天下大同”的理想境界。为此 ,本刊创办了“文化自觉与社会发展”学术专栏 ,吁请国内外学者积极参加有关问题的讨论与争鸣
