杭州市区社会养老设施现状及发展对策研究

人口老龄化使社会福利设施承受越来越大的压力,整合社会养老资源、适度发展老年社会福利设施成为应对人口老龄化挑战的重要措施之一。本文对杭州市区的社会养老设施(集中养老的机构设施)现状进行了调查,分析了存在的问题,借鉴国内外的经验并根据杭州的现实情况提出了杭州市区社会养老设施发展的对策建议。     

汉代强化孝伦理的措施及社会影响

浅谈哈萨克族人生礼仪与民族进步

哈萨克族的人生礼仪是在相对封闭的社会环境中产生的,当时它适应了草原文化的生活需求。针对当今萨克族人生礼仪中操办喜事中不作任何改良和规范来全方位地继承传统的做法;周年纪念式中的竞争操办心理所引发铺张浪费;婚姻中彩礼的繁重性,索取礼仪的层次性、多样性、复杂性;抢亲等这一不正当婚姻形式突然性、不稳定性等典型事项,提出从教育入口全面提高民族人口素质;加大破除愚昧无知的宣传力度,树立科学发展观;大力开展先进型教育活动,营造健康文明的生活氛围等改良对策。     

The Bivariate Normal Copula

We collect well-known and less-known facts about the bivariate normal distribution and translate them into copula language. In addition, we provide various (equivalent) expressions for the bivariate normal copula, we compute its Gini's gamma, and we derive improved bounds and approximations on its diagonal.     

A Statistical Method for the Determination of the Appropriate Order in a General Class of Time Series Models

Abstract

We propose a method to determine the order q of a model in a general class of time series models. For the subset of linear moving average models (MA(q)), our method is compared with that of the sample autocorrelations. Since the sample autocorrelation is meant to detect a linear structure of dependence between random variables, it turns out to be more suitable for the linear case. However, our method presents a competitive option in that case, and for nonlinear models (NLMA(q)) it is shown to work better. The main advantages of our approach are that it does not make assumptions on the existence of moments and on the distribution of the noise involved in the moving average models. We also include an example with real data corresponding to the daily returns of the exchange rate process of mexican pesos and american dollars.     

Estimation of the Population Size in the Classical Occupancy Problem

In the classical occupancy problem where the random variable X is the number of N elements selected by K individuals when each element is equally likely to be chosen by any of the individuals, it is desired to estimate N. Three estimators given in the literature are compared with three estimators derived in this article, two of which are based on Bayesian methods, utilizing a simulation study. One of the Bayes estimators appears to perform the best along with one proposed in the literature in 1968. The estimators are also compared using data obtained from a cemetery in Ohio.
