再论三岩藏族的居室葬

文章是在田野工作的基础上对三岩藏族居室葬的再研究,既顾及到考古学的旁证材料,又为其提供“活化石”的标本,目的是进一步探讨这一葬俗的思想根基。与作者过去的研究成果相比,文章侧重于类型学的梳理,展示了“中间场”的分析框架,解析了三岩居室葬所蕴含的时空观及文化功能,最后通过跨文化、跨学科的比较凸显居室葬的同一与差异,强调了民族考古学的方法论意义。     

进口替代对中部经济发展不容忽视原因分析

从对进口的依赖度、对外资企业进口设备条件和产业结构上来分析在中部地区实施进口替代策略的必要性和现实原因,结合中部地区的基础设施、资源和市场状况提出应该在中部积极采用进口替代的发展策略来推动中部地区经济的发展。     

An inverse-probability-weighted approach to the estimation of distribution function with middle-censored data

In this article, we propose an inverse-probability-weighted (IPW) estimator of distribution function for middle-censored data. By Jammalamadaka and Mangalam (2003), the IPW estimator is the nonparametric maximum likelihood estimator (NPMLE) when all censored intervals contain at least one uncensored observation. The asymptotic properties of the IPW estimator are derived. A simulation study is conducted to compare the performance between the IPW estimator and the self-consistent estimator (SCE). Simulation results indicate that the performance of the IPW estimator is close to that of the SCE.     

Estimation for exponential distribution based on competing risk middle censored data

Abstract

For a general censoring scheme called “middle censoring” scheme which was proposed by Jammalamadaka and Mangalam (2003 Jammalamadaka, S.R., Mangalam, V. (2003). Nonparametric estimation for middle censored data. J. Nonparametric Statist. 15:253–265.[Taylor & Francis Online], [Web of Science ®] , [Google Scholar]) in nonparametric set up. In this article, point and interval estimation problems are considered for the exponential distribution when the failure data is middle censored with two independent competing failure risks. Different methods are introduced to estimate the unknown model parameters such as maximum likelihood estimation, midpoint approximation, equivalent quantities estimation. The Bayesian estimation is also considered with gamma priors. Two numerical examples are analyzed to show the performance of the proposed methods.

探讨词义训释的方法,应是中古汉语词汇研究的内容之一.求证中古汉语的词义,大致上要先辨字、明词,再进行释义."辨字"是指在研究过程中辨识文字正误,考释六朝词语,尤应注意辨识写本俗字."明词",就是进行词的切分,区别词与非词,明确考释对象."释义"包括查考、汇证、推阐、审例、比较、探源、求验等步骤.具体释义时往往是多种方法交错贯通、综合运用的,不能机械理解.

评述美国和平队计划的建立

1961年3月1日,美国总统肯尼迪发布行政命令成立一个暂时性的志愿性组织和平队。9月22日美国国会通过的《和平队法》,使和平队获得永久性授权。美国和平队计划主要派遣以大学毕业生为主的美国青年,到发展中国家的乡村与城市,直接与发展中国家的中下层人民打交道,从事教学、社区开发、医疗保健等工作。虽然和平队的产生有受美国慈善传统的影响和表现美国人民的人道主义的一面,但在当时美国政府主要是出于冷战政治的需要而建立这一机构的。     

耐用消费品市场制度与中等收入阶层--扩大我国内需方针的分析

耐用消费品市场作为一组复杂的契约关系,有其特殊的生产和分配制度结构,耐用消费品市场的发展与整个社会中等收入阶层的形成是相统一的。扩大内需不是权宜之计,而是我国的一项长期方针;我国处于工业化中期,扩大消费需求,重心是扩大耐用消费品的需求,耐用消费品市场的扩张必须建立与之相适应的经济社会制度结构。扩大社会中等收入阶层是经济、社会、制度结构顺利转型的根本保证。     

School dropouts—They are not what they seem to be

Twenty-one ninth grade students at Carrigan Middle School identified as potential dropouts were divided into three equal groups, two experimental (GI and GII) and one control (GIII). The experimental groups were enrolled in the Positive Learning Program (PLP), a supportive program for potential dropouts. All groups were academically profiled for the past five years. All Ss retained their original major classes and teachers. The experimental groups, however, reported to the PLP teacher for homeroom and study. During these periods the students received academic and social support. Academics, attendance, and behavior were measured over three marking periods. The results showed significant improvement in academic performance. Although significance was not realized for attendance and behavior, there was a significant interaction indicating a change over time. It was also found that profiling could be used as a measure to identify potential dropouts.
