不同层次英语专业学习者专八改错答题情况实证研究

英语专业八级改错题是检测英语专业水平的重要手段之一,不同层次的英语专业学习者答题情况尚无人研究,有必要做专题探讨。通过答卷研判、访谈及归因分析,研究发现：1）英语专业学习者英语综合运用水平（English proficiency in comprehensive application,EPCA）整体不高,所有被试的均分为2.7分,只有12.5%的被试达到及格线,单题词汇辨析的正确率低至0.83%;2）4组被试的EPCA,只有大学教师组与其他各组之间存在显著性差异,本科二年级组、本科四年级组、中小学教师组各组之间均无显著性差异,说明EPCA不会简单地随着学习时间的延长而提高;3）EPCA较低,是由于一语词义与二语音形混合的词汇学习方法以及“英语思维缺席”制约了英语综合运用能力（English competence in comprehensive application,ECCA）的发展。建议采用“遵循英语思维特点学习英语”的策略,以便提高ECCA。     

Youth‐oriented active labour market policies and economic crisis: Explaining policy effort in Greece and Portugal

The starting point of this study is the implementation of seemingly similar youth‐oriented labour market policies in Greece and Portugal. Both countries have suffered high youth unemployment rates and have been pressured to restructure their labour market as part of the rescue programmes adopted during the European sovereign debt crisis. Despite convergence in terms of policy trajectories, there is a significant divergence in employment outcomes. In Portugal, youth‐oriented policies were better‐targeted and structured. Their implementation has been more effective and has involved the social partners from the outset of the crisis. In Greece, policy design failures, administrative weaknesses and unfavourable macroeconomic conditions have limited the dynamics of youth‐oriented policies thus increasing youth insecurity. Τhe analysis suggests that convergence in policy content can be compatible with divergence in terms of outcomes.     

Framing same-sex marriage: Media constructions of California's Proposition 8

Legislation regarding the legalization of same-sex marriages has been advocated for and opposed across distinct states in the United States. Claims makers on either side of the issue have attempted to have their voices heard in local and national newspapers. Newspaper personnel determine how to frame the issue, deciding which meanings associated with same-sex marriage will be highlighted and which will go unrepresented. This paper analyzes the media framing of Proposition 8 in California, a voter initiative prohibiting same-sex marriage, comparing frames across three newspapers: one local to California, the San Francisco Chronicle, and two national, the New York Times and the Washington Post. The paper illustrates shifts in frames from May 2008 to August 2010, a time period extending from the vote on the initiative through two court challenges. Overall, the results indicate that these newspapers more frequently frame same-sex marriage as a civil rights issue and that those attempting to block same-sex marriage do so as a function of discrimination. Less frequently, they frame same-sex marriage as a threat to heterosexual marriage. The findings show that the frequency with which the frames appear shift across newspapers as well as the time period of study.     

Use of geriatric assessment and screening tools of frailty in elderly patients with prostate cancer. Review

The management of prostate cancer in the elderly is a major public health concern in most countries. Currently, most prostate cancers are diagnosed in elderly males. The elderly population is very heterogeneous. Thus, the current challenge is to identify better those individuals for whom specific screening tools and a Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA) would be beneficial. On the basis of the recommendations of the Prostate Cancer Working Group in the International Society of Geriatric Oncology, older patients with prostate cancer should be managed according to their individual health status and not by their age. CGA is the best tool for determining the health status of an older patient. In this article, we sought to assemble all available evidence on the models of CGA and the prevalence of geriatric conditions in older patients with prostate cancer. We also discuss the feasibility of the most used screening tools in elderly patients, that is, the Vulnerable Elders Survey-13 (VES-13) and G-8 as screening tools in this group of patients.

高度不正则图的全着色

图Ｇ的正常ｋ全着色是指用ｋ种颜色对Ｇ的点和边着色，使相邻或相关联的元素（点或边）着不同色。其中最小的ｋ称为Ｇ的全色数，记为χＴ（Ｇ）。设Ｇ是一个简单图，υ是Ｇ的任意一个顶点，若与υ相邻的顶点的度互不相同，则称Ｇ为高度不正则图。对高度不正则图Ｇ，文中证明了χＴ（Ｇ）＝Δ（Ｇ）＋１，同时也给出了着色的算法，其中Δ（Ｇ）为Ｇ的最大度数且Δ（Ｇ）≥２。
