中国古夷人史迹与三星堆文化初探

据彝文典籍史料《彝族源流》、《彝族人类起源》和《彝族人类历史》等中的记载,远古彝族有哎、哺、宜、舍、尼、能、实勺、咪、吐、楚、那、濮、罗、果等十四大支系部落。尼与能起源于母系氏族社会对女祖魂的崇拜,也具有＂天、母、女＂的含义。若干世纪以后,以虎为图腾,又以太阳为崇拜对象的罗（虎）氏部落,罗（虎）部等氏支又从尼部族中分了几支出来,以＂罗＂为虎。四川广汉＂三星堆＂出土的文物和三峡巴人故地考古出土的文物中,虎龙形雕塑、雕刻,也随处可见。根据许多彝汉文献中的记载与考古发掘资料,笔者认为＂三星堆＂文化的史前渊源也就是后来的彝族先民的祭祀文化渊源的足迹,＂三星堆＂文化的延续也就是当今彝民族祭祀文化的风俗遗存。     

陈云经济决策思想与我国大规模经济建设的起步

新中国初期,陈云深刻分析国际国内政治、经济形势,及时把握大局,制定并实施正确的财经方针和政策,为恢复国民经济和抗美援朝战争提供了保障,实现了国家工作重心由应对战争向大规模经济建设的转变。     

《瞧瞧谁是英雄》中妖魔化的异国形象

美国的朝鲜战争小说《瞧瞧谁是英雄》中的韩国女性形象,是西方作者从优越的本土文化和“社会集体想象物”着眼,将韩国女性作为异国情调来建构而形成的,她还被置于理想化的西方人物形象的对立面而加以妖魔化。这一形象不仅是东方主义“西优东劣”思维定式下的“他者”和危及西方文明的落后群体,更是西方借此贬低东方、彰显西方文明的书写。     

人的思想道德与经济发展的关联

人的思想道德是人口素质的重要内容,人的思想道德在经济增长和经济发展中具有重要作用。但目前学术界还缺乏对人的思想道德素质与经济增长、经济发展和脱贫致富相关性的理论分析与实证检验。新时期反贫困实践应重视思想反贫困和思想扶贫。     

徐树铮与第二次南北战争

第二次南北战争是段琪瑞政府推行武力统一政策的结果,徐树铮的政治观与该政策一致。在段祺瑞的支持下,徐树铮积极布置对南作战计划,他拉拢曹锟、张作霖、吴佩孚等实力派人物来支持武力统一政策,操控着第二次南北战争,使得第二次南北战争得以持续进行。但最终因徐树铮本人恃才傲物、坦白率直的性格等原因导致皖系内部发生分裂,以及在处理张敬尧督湘,支持曹锟、张作霖当副总统,联络昊佩孚等有关重大问题上操控失当,导致第二次南北战争以失败告终。     

The empirical Bayes estimators of the parameter of the Poisson distribution with a conjugate gamma prior under Stein's loss function

For the hierarchical Poisson and gamma model, we calculate the Bayes posterior estimator of the parameter of the Poisson distribution under Stein's loss function which penalizes gross overestimation and gross underestimation equally and the corresponding Posterior Expected Stein's Loss (PESL). We also obtain the Bayes posterior estimator of the parameter under the squared error loss and the corresponding PESL. Moreover, we obtain the empirical Bayes estimators of the parameter of the Poisson distribution with a conjugate gamma prior by two methods. In numerical simulations, we have illustrated: The two inequalities of the Bayes posterior estimators and the PESLs; the moment estimators and the Maximum Likelihood Estimators (MLEs) are consistent estimators of the hyperparameters; the goodness-of-fit of the model to the simulated data. The numerical results indicate that the MLEs are better than the moment estimators when estimating the hyperparameters. Finally, we exploit the attendance data on 314 high school juniors from two urban high schools to illustrate our theoretical studies.     

Fitting competing risks data to bivariate Pareto models

This paper revisits two bivariate Pareto models for fitting competing risks data. The first model is the Frank copula model, and the second one is a bivariate Pareto model introduced by Sankaran and Nair (1993 Sankaran, P. G., and N. U. Nair. 1993. A bivariate Pareto model and its applications to reliability. We discuss the identifiability issues of these models and develop the maximum likelihood estimation procedures including their computational algorithms and model-diagnostic procedures. Simulations are conducted to examine the performance of the maximum likelihood estimation. Real data are analyzed for illustration.     

Mapping movement landscapes in South Africa

ABSTRACT

The concept of a movement landscape is used to analyse continuities and changes in popular mobilization since the end of formal apartheid. Focusing on four different episodes of protest since 1997, the article examines their relationship to the ANC movement and traditions, and their organizational forms. It finds a general theme of fluid and ephemeral organization, and a distrust of formal hierarchal organization, that is relatively new in South Africa. The Marikana strikes produced the most far-reaching organizational realignments, while the student struggles generated the most innovative re-imaginings of political forms and discourses. It concludes that although there have been critiques of and challenges to the ANC tradition, and experiments with new forms of organizing, they have not produced alternatives that have lasted or dislodged the dominant approaches defined and popularized by the ANC movement.

全面抗战时期大后方大学教师和学生生活水平结构研究

全面抗战时期，受战时通货膨胀影响，大后方大学教师和学生群体的生活水平迅速下降，但与真正意义上的"赤贫阶层"尚有距离，决定大学教师和学生生活水平的关键要素相比战前已发生变化。战前大学教师的生活水平结构与教师职级、教育水平紧密相关，而战时大后方大学教师的生活水平结构则受到薪金、兼职、家庭负担等多方面因素的共同制约。战前大学生的主体是社会中间阶层出身的子弟，校园内的生活水平结构呈"橄榄型"，战时大后方大学校园内的生活水平结构则截然二分为富裕和清贫学生两部分，清贫学生成为学生群体中的主体。全面抗战时期大后方大学教师和学生生活水平结构的变化，既有战时客观因素的制约，也受到国民政府相应教育政策的影响。
