和谐社会研究现状及趋势

中国共产党十六届四中全会提出构建社会主义和谐社会的重大命题以后,围绕社会主义和谐社会构建的必然性、内涵、理论渊源以及如何构建和谐社会等问题,学术理论界进行了认真的研究,取得了极有价值的理论成果,并形成了专题研究特色.但研究过程还存在理论抽象研究强于实证研究、经济决定论色彩偏重等需要解决的问题.未来的和谐社会研究,应当在研究思路和研究方法上进行创新,把宏观领域的研究与微观尺度的研究结合起来,加强实证研究,突出定量研究,并根据和谐社会建设实践的进程适时地拓宽研究主题.     

浙江省促进人口均衡发展的实践与思考

浙江在促进人口与经济社会资源环境协调可持续发展进程中,针对先发的人口不均衡问题不断探索应对,从较早较低层面的自觉均衡促进,到省级层面主动将人口生态体系建设纳入生态省建设;近年来进而上升到省级最高层面将人口均衡发展和人口均衡社会建设基本要求与资源节约型社会、环境友好型社会一并纳入全省生态文明建设,较好地实现了三型社会建设的有机结合;同时也明晰了未来人口计生工作战略定位、发展路径和科学目标;并着重阐述推进人口均衡发展、建设人口均衡型社会总体思路及对策建议。     

创造社与十九世纪末欧洲文艺思潮

创造社作家留学日本期间,普遍对19世纪末欧洲文艺思潮产生了浓厚的兴趣。在文艺观的形成和文学创作上,他们都受到了19世纪末欧洲以唯美主义为核心的文艺思潮的诸多影响,并在此基础上建立了自己的新浪漫主义文学观。     

Migrant Traders in the Marketplaces (Pasar) and their Domination in the Post-conflict Society of the Moluccas Province,Indonesia

This article is about the domination of Butonese migrant traders in three urban marketplaces (pasar) of Ambon in the aftermath of sectarian conflict. The research examines how Butonese migrant traders struggle for their sovereign space and how they deal with the dissatisfied local traders in light of their domination in the market. The Butonese migrant traders also demonstrate an uncanny ability in political lobbying and creating businesses based on family networking. At the horizontal level, they construct their emotional connections and minimalise local people’s jealousy over their dominance in the market by reinventing local ceremonies in the marketplace, while at the vertical level, the Butonese traders create credit access and political contacts with the central government in Jakarta and with local legislators—most of whom belong to Islamic parties. The market has become a space for leveling-up the migrant trader’s self-esteem since, outside the market, local people (orang negeri) question their citizenship status.     

燕大时期顾颉刚的学术事业与禹贡学会

中国历史地理学的诞生发展与燕京大学有着密切联系,顾颉刚长期执教燕京大学是历史地理学在此扎根的重要前提。顾颉刚与燕大的结缘是待遇、人际纠葛、燕大中国化等多方面因素综合作用的结果。在燕大执教期间,顾颉刚的古史辨伪逐渐转移到以沿革地理手段对《尚书.禹贡》的地理研究之上,由此直接促生了禹贡学会和《禹贡》半月刊。同时,在国难当头的时局下,顾颉刚的学术事业出现了"以文字参加抗日"的价值新取向。禹贡学会及《禹贡》半月刊是"国故整理"、"民众教育"与"边疆开发"等主题的融汇。     

试论我国从生存型社会向发展型社会转型的发展趋势和阶段性特征

我国进入了由生存型社会向发展型社会转型的崭新发展阶段,呈现出明显的阶段性特征.发展方式逐步从粗放向科学转变,需求结构从温饱型向发展型转变,利益格局从相对单一向日益分化多元转变,政治参与从动员式为主向自主式为主转变,思想文化、价值取向、行为规范从高度统一向独立性、选择性、多变性、差异性日益增强转变,信息传播从单向封闭向互动开放转变,社会管理从党委政府集中统一领导逐步向政府组织、市场组织、社会组织共同治理转变.

在认知和改造自然的过程中创造人类的物质文明,在认知和改造社会的过程中创造人类的精神文明.物质文明与精神文明的匹配和协调,就是人的社会生活的全面发展、科学发展和可持续发展,更是真正人的现代社会生活的实现.而全面的发展和科学的发展,以及由此而实现的可持续发展的内在根据,就是自然生态平衡规律以及这一规律在社会的延续所展现的社会生态的和谐统一规律.     

华侨汇款对近代潮汕地区农业与农村社会的影响

海外华侨对近代潮汕地区农业与农村的积极影响非常突出,海外华侨对潮汕地区的贡献主要体现在其汇款上:一是赡养性汇款;二是投资性汇款;三是捐赠性汇款。这三类汇款对近代潮汕地区农业与农村社会都有重要的影响。     

NEW COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGIES - A conduit for social inclusion

There has an outpouring of energy and creativity into ways of using information and communications technologies (ICT) and the information society (IS) to create inclusion, as an opportunity to tackle, reduce and even prevent social exclusion. This article is based on examining over 40 projects which constitute positive examples of applications of new technologies, by public authorities, private agencies and community groups, to reduce the disadvantage experienced by the more excluded groups in our society.     

An Experiment on Rational Insurance Decisions

We describe the results of an experiment on decision making in an insurance context. The experiment was designed to test for the underlying rationality of insurance consumers, where rationality is understood in usual economic terms. In particular, using expected utility as the preference function, we test for positive marginal utility, risk aversion, and decreasing absolute risk aversion, all of which are normal postulates for any microeconomic decision context under uncertainty or risk. We find that there the discrepancy from rational decision making increases with the sophistication of the rationality criteria, that irrationality concerning fair premium contracts is uncharacteristically high, and that the slope of absolute risk aversion seems to depend on the format of the insurance contract.
