重视哲学课在素质教育中的作用

由于从小受本民族历史和地理环境等的影响 ,民族大学生在哲学素养的提高上面临着更多的制约因素 ,进而影响他们整体素质的提高。因此 ,对哲学课进行更为切合实际的改革 ,充分发挥哲学课的功能作用 ,是民族院校在实施素质教育中必须给予重视的一个重要环节     

Risk behavior in decision-making in a multi-person-setting

When people have to make a choice in an individual setting between a known-risk option and an untested situation of uncertainty, the majority prefers the known risk over the uncertainty of the alternative. The confrontation with an unfamiliar situation in an environment including other participants allows for new mechanisms in risk-perception and risk-evaluation. People tend to become other-directed and use the behavior and consequences of actions of other people in the environment to assess risk. Our investigations show that warning signals observable in the behavior of other participants in the setting reinforce people's preference for known risks over uncertainty.

Are Referees Sufficiently Informed About The Editor'S Practice?

This paper clarifies why editors of academic journals should share with their referees the information about the number of referees they consult and the decision rule they apply. Our analysis also rationalizes the common questionable phenomenon of editors who seem to distort the yes or no recommendations of their referees. The editors request a recommendation of whether to accept or reject the paper as well as an assessment of the paper. The editors need the complete reports to make the appropriate correction of the referees' final recommendations.     

多维视角下的西方哲学研究

哲学研究应当注意哲学思想的连续性、继承性,实行前后黑格尔哲学研究的互动互解互通。现代性和后现代性、现代哲学与后现代哲学都是伴随西方现代化进程而生的,对现代哲学和现代性的批判始于19世纪下半叶,但至今仍有许多哲学家坚持现代哲学的路线,从现代与后现代的视角进行研究,使哲学更加密切地与西方社会现实结合起来。思辨哲学与实践哲学的视角关涉哲学发展的方向、前途,以思辨与实践相互关系的视角来探究西方哲学的演化和未来。马克思主义哲学对待西方哲学不能局限于要后者为自己“服务”;现当代西方顶级哲学家都对马克思的学说有深入的研究,西方哲学研究要高度重视马克思主义哲学理论。中西哲学作为两种不同类型的哲学,要在比较中求发展;文化融合论应当提倡哲学多元化,拒斥妄图一统天下的独断论。

Single or dual sourcing: decision-making in the presence of supply chain disruption risks

The focus of this paper is placed on evaluating the impacts of supply disruption risks on the choice between the famous single and dual sourcing methods in a two-stage supply chain with a non-stationary and price-sensitive demand. The expected profit functions of the two sourcing modes in the presence of supply chain disruption risks are first obtained, and then compared so that the critical values of the key factors affecting the final choice are identified. Finally, the sensitivity of the buyer's expected profit to various input factors is examined through numerical examples, which provide guidelines for how to use each sourcing method.     

Ethical guidelines and codes in operations research

We review past endeavors by ORSs to establish ethical guidelines or codes to which their members must subscribe to. We contrast such activities with those of the international community of related professional societies. It is clear that ORSs world-wide do not exhibit the important basic characteristic of a profession, that is, the adoption of and adherence to ethical guidelines and codes. Such adoptions by OR professional organizations are rare.
