“蹙金”考：一个唐五代诗词名物的文化史解读

唐五代诗词中经常出现“蹙金”这一织绣名物，法门寺地宫出土的五件蹙金绣是这一常见诗词名物的实物印证，同时也体现出一定的佛教意涵。“蹙金”是用捻紧的金线以制成皱纹状织品的一种刺绣工艺，蹙金绣是质地最密、形态最美的一种绣品。这种绣品在唐五代成为皇帝后妃、诸王公主等皇室帝胄和衣冠贵族喜欢服用的生活和装饰用品，故诗人经常用以表现贵族社会和人物的生活情状。因“蹙金”优于“盘金”、“缕金”和“贴金”，在诗词中的表现作用也就有所不同。这一特殊的诗词名物具有丰富的文化史内涵。     

`Sex-Equal' Stable Matchings

The paper defines a measure on the set of stable matchings in the marriage problem. This measure is based on the minimization of the envy difference between the sets of men and women, while preserving stability and selects stable matchings with the least conflict of interest between both groups of agents. The solution concept proposed is called Sex-equal Matching (SEM) and the paper also provides an algorithm to compute the set of SEM.     

Conditional interval estimation of the mean following rejection of a two sided test

The effect of rejecting a two-sided preliminary test of significance for the mean of a normal distribution upon subsequent interval estimation of the mean is examined. For the case where the variance is known, conditional confidence intervals may be shorter than unconditional intervals, in contrast to the one-sided preliminary test case examined by Meeks and D’Agostino (1983, The American Statistician, 7, 134-136) . For the case where the variance is unknown and must be estimated by the sample variance, it is shown that customary intervals do not offer uniformly greater or lesser coverage than the nominal level.

一种非刚体目标的实时检测与跟踪算法

提出了一种复杂背景下自动、实时地检测和跟踪非刚体目标算法。该算法利用自适应的背景减除方法,在复杂背景条件下提取出运动目标;采用颜色直方图模型为特征的均值平移法作为跟踪算法。试验结果验证了该算法的实时性和有效性。     

Serial dependence and regression of Poisson INARMA models

Time series of counts occur in many fields of practice, with the Poisson distribution as a popular choice for the marginal process distribution. A great variety of serial dependence structures of stationary count processes can be modelled by the INARMA family. In this article, we propose a new approach to the INMA(q) family in general, including previously known results as special cases. In the particular case of Poisson marginals, we will derive new results concerning regression properties and the serial dependence structure of INAR(1) and INMA(q) models. Finally, we present explicit expressions for the distribution of jumps in such processes.     

硕士学位论文评审制度刍议

分析了目前国内高等院校研究生培养现状,认为以清华大学等国内许多高等院校在借鉴全国优秀博士学位论文评审经验的基础上,将提高研究生培养质量的重点转向研究生学位论文的评审,并逐步确立了制度化、规范化和社会化的学位论文评审制度的做法效果显著。结合西北师范大学的实际情况,就当前的硕士学位论文评审制度从评审目的和对象、现行评审方式和隐名评审的意义等方面提出了建设性的意见。

该文提出建筑管理法调整建筑活动中发生的建筑管理关系以及与其密切联系的建筑协作关系，并探讨了建筑管理法与其它法律部门相区别的若干特征。     

Some theory and practical uses of trimmed L-moments

Trimmed L-moments, defined by Elamir and Seheult [2003. Trimmed L-moments. Comput. Statist. Data Anal. 43, 299–314], summarize the shape of probability distributions or data samples in a way that remains viable for heavy-tailed distributions, even those for which the mean may not exist. We derive some further theoretical results concerning trimmed L-moments: a relation with the expansion of the quantile function as a weighted sum of Jacobi polynomials; the bounds that must be satisfied by trimmed L-moments; recurrences between trimmed L-moments with different degrees of trimming; and the asymptotic distributions of sample estimators of trimmed L-moments. We also give examples of how trimmed L-moments can be used, analogously to L-moments, in the analysis of heavy-tailed data. Examples include identification of distributions using a trimmed L-moment ratio diagram, shape parameter estimation for the generalized Pareto distribution, and fitting generalized Pareto distributions to a heavy-tailed data sample of computer network traffic.
