印度东北与中国西南的民族志诗歌

印度东北与中国西南在地域上山水相连,相互之间的文化交流是非常密切的。这个区域里居住着众多的民族或族群,他们的文化相似性和可比性是很明显的。从跨国的视角来探寻文化互动或文化个性,这是一个理想的地域。这些不同民族或族群身份的诗人写作的民族志诗歌是探寻各自文化共性和个性的较好途径：虽然诗歌创作过程中采用不同的语言,印度东北的土著诗人通常用英语写作,中国西南少数民族诗人经常用汉语写作,但是这些诗人都受到了近代西方现代主义诗歌潮流的影响。同时,这些诗人的诗歌也受到了当下全球化的影响,比如本民族传统文化与文化教育现代化、全球生态环境日益恶化等等冲突的影响。因为受到了相似的影响,这个区域内的民族志诗歌的风格和肌理是可以比较的;诗歌的主题和内容也是可以展开对比研究的。     

教育变迁视野下人口较少民族文化传承路径及其困境——以云南布朗族为例

全球化浪潮使得布朗族如其他绝大多数少数民族一样正面临外来文化冲击,如何有效传承本民族传统文化日益重要。本研究认为,教育是人类文化传承的重要途径;随着社会的发展,布朗族传统教育的模式及其功能发生了改变;民族地区现代学校教育责无旁贷地成为当今民族文化传承的重要场所,尽管它正面临传承与发展的两难困境。     

Culture and identity: two different notions

A clear, precise conceptual distinction between ‘culture’ and ‘identity’ is an essential precondition for analyzing social processes. The anthropological concept of ‘identity’ has been built up over time and enriched by studies on interethnic relationships, ethnic borders and ethnicity. The objective of this essay is to add to an already well-defined concept of culture by incorporating decisive contributions from theories on the nation. Culture and nation are not only highly complex theoretical notions with a long history; they both deal with heterogeneous and conflictive entities. The essay asserts that culture and identity allude to analytically different aspects of social processes. No relationship between the two can be presupposed or generalized to fit all cases. It is necessary to analyze cultural and identitary aspects separately.     

藏传佛教文化的当代性及其弘扬机制与模式

藏传佛教文化在当代藏区社会具有一定的地位和自身的社会角色,其中精华和糟粕并存,对其精华的弘扬和对其糟粕的革除有着内在必然性和重要的时代价值。但是,藏传佛教文化的弘扬有一些严重制约性的因素,客观上需要加以解决。在弘扬藏传佛教文化的历史进程中,需要建立或建构能充分发挥其文化功能和当代价值的机制和模式,并且这种机制应该具有针对性、长效性和多角度,模式也应真正具有方法论的指导意义。     

论大学文化视阈下的思想政治教育

思想政治教育是中国共产党的政治优势。建设具有中国特色社会主义的大学文化需要继承和发扬党的这一传统优势。思想政治教育不能局限在单纯的政治范畴之内,还应该在大学文化建设中发挥重要作用,是大学文化建设的“生命线”,也是实施大学文化建设的基本途径。充分认识思想政治教育的文化战略地位,积极推动大学文化建设,是大学思想政治教育的重要方略。     

企业伦理气候、组织承诺与组织公民行为的关系——以温州民营企业为例

企业社会责任等方面存在的问题是造成温州民营企业“民工荒”的重要原因。通过问卷调查,发现员工对企业伦理气候中的法规导向最为认可且看法比较一致,对组织承诺中的情感承诺最为认可且对道德承诺的看法相对一致,对组织公民行为中的组织公益最为认可且看法比较一致。员工对组织承诺、组织公民行为的主张是正向积极的,未发现企业伦理气候、组织承诺对组织公民行为有强烈的正向影响。提出温州民营企业摆脱困境的思路：重视企业伦理气候建设,形成正确的企业文化,增强员工的向心力;强化员工的组织承诺;鼓励员工的组织公民行为。     

论英语阅读教学中的文化渗透

文化差异现象在词汇和文化背景方面的普遍存在,使得阅读教学中存在不少的"短路"问题.因而文化背景知识是学习英语必不可少的因素.教师应当在阅读教学中有意识地进行文化背景知识的讲解并引导学生主动学习,在阅读时要引导学生透过语言表层去理解文化意蕴,并通过有组织的讨论使得所学的知识得到运用从而加强学习效果.     

Effects of critical incident tasks on the intercultural competence of English non-majors

ABSTRACT

In this internationalised world, graduate employability in terms of intercultural communication skills needs to be taken into account in higher education. The present study aims to explore the effects of critical incident task instruction on English non-majored undergraduates’ intercultural competence. One group of students received ten weeks of instruction with one critical incident task per week and another group received standard English classes. Data were collected from the students’ pre- and post-test. The results showed a significant and strong effect of the intervention with critical incident tasks. Implications for educational practice are presented for further teaching with critical incident tasks.     

Stop the Beat: Quiet Regulation and Cultural Conflict1

This article explores a recent conflict over the youth phenomenon known as “raving” in the City of Chicago. By interviewing participants involved in the conflict, I set out to understand the extent to which the crackdown on raves in Chicago was similar to earlier social reactions to jazz, comic books, rock and roll, and Dead Head culture, as well as to more recent conflicts over punk, rap music, and raves in other cities. While most previous research on cultural conflict has focused on moral crusades, campaigns, and panics, the Chicago conflict represents an example of “quiet regulation.” Opponents refrained from highly visible, morally charged attacks; instead, in the absence of media hype and visible public discourse, public officials justified the crackdown in highly bureaucratic terms—avoiding risk, collecting taxes, enforcing codes. Nonetheless, they also drew on cultural schemas that linked raves and raving with drugs, sex, and deviance. As a result, officials selected a course of regulation that criminalized DJs and discredited the artform. In the absence of a highly visible moral campaign, the rave participants were unable to mobilize and resist the regulation and defend their lifestyle. Sociologists must move beyond highly visible campaigns and crusades and pay greater attention to quiet regulation, both because such regulation is likely to increase in the future and because it has significant consequences for power, cultural expression, and identity.
