论汉语思维模式对学生英语写作的制约

英汉语言的思维模式存在较大的差异。结合英语教学实践,探讨汉语思维对中国学生英语写作的影响,提出相应的对策,以使学生能注意到两种思维模式的差异,克服母语的干扰,提高英语写作水平。     

对视频传输协议H.26L的实现及改进

针对H.26L视频编码方案中提出的一些新算法,结合实现结果做了阐述和比较,通过比较提出了改进的算法。采用了更优越的搜索方法增加了图像搜索的质量。在消除块效应方面,采用了双向插值的方法来加以处理。在编码方面,针对H.26L提出的帧内预测编码,利用图像宏块在空间上的相关性对量化后的操作块进行判断并选择是否合并,然后再进行编码,这一改进算法在对图像质量、信噪比影响不大的情况下,使图像压缩率有较明显提高,并且算法简洁,易于理解。     

Minimax optimality of the Shiryayev–Roberts change-point detection rule

The result of Pollak [1985. Optimal detection of a change in distribution. Ann. Statist. 13, 206–227] proving the asymptotic optimality in sequential change-point detection of a suitable Shirayayev–Roberts stopping rule up to terms that vanish in the limit is generalized from the case of two completely specified distributions to that of a composite alternative hypothesis in a multidimensional exponential family. An explicit asymptotic lower bound on the expected Kullback–Leibler information required to detect a change-point is derived and is shown to be attained by a Shirayayev–Roberts stopping rule.

张学良的国家统一观,是在维护国家和平统一的实践中逐渐形成的.首先他在参加军阀战争中,就提出了反对军阀干涉政治的主张,这是他追求国家统一的心理诉求;东北易帜和易帜后,他把拥护中央、服从政府,作为实现国家统一的政治理念;旅欧后他试图借助德意经验,拥护一个领袖,实行一种主义,以实现国家强盛;西安事变前后,他主张停止内战一致抗日,这是张学良国家统一理念的修正与升华.从反对军阀干政到西安事变,都体现了张学良牺牲"小我"成就"大我",以维护国家统一的价值观.     

An adaptive rule for stopping a discovery process under time censorship

Consider a finite population of large but unknown size of hidden objects. Consider searching for these objects for a period of time, at a certain cost, and receiving a reward depending on the sizes of the objects found. Suppose that the size and discovery time of the objects both have unknown distributions, but the conditional distribution of time given size is exponential with an unknown non-negative and non-decreasing function of the size as failure rate. The goal is to find an optimal way to stop the discovery process. Assuming that the above parameters are known, an optimal stopping time is derived and its asymptotic properties are studied. Then, an adaptive rule based on order restricted estimates of the distributions from truncated data is presented. This adaptive rule is shown to perform nearly as well as the optimal stopping time for large population size.     

二语写作认知心理策略研究

有关二语写作策略的研究始于上世纪80年代,但大多涉及跨语言性普遍策略,而缺少对外语写作者特别是中国学生的研究。考察不同二语水平的三组学生使用写作策略的情况发现,认知和元认知策略的使用构成了学生写作过程中的主要活动;英语水平越高,高频率使用的写作策略的数量就越少;在多数写作策略的使用上,组与组之间存在或递增、或递减、或先升后降、或先降后升的趋势。上述现象与研究性质、编码系统、母语思维、二语水平和写作教学现状等因素有关,这说明二语写作是个极其复杂的认知心理过程,写作策略的使用情况意味着写作过程的流畅与否,一定程度上预示着写作者是否已经跨过二语水平的门槛。     

电子提单流通的法律制度

电子信息技术的发展和提单实践的问题为电子提单的应用提供了机会。电子提单在实践中的流通需要有一定的条件：功能等同和优越性的发挥。在法律上确定电子提单具有纸质提单的同等功能，这是电子提单流通的法律前提；而电子提单优越性的发挥取决于其流通制度本身的设计是否合理。通过比较传统提单的流通制度，考察已有电子提单实践之中的流通制度设计，笔者认为在法律上应当建构一个由第三人登记制度、信息传递制度、身份认证制度构成的电子提单流通法律制度。

Bandwidth selection for kernel regression with correlated errors

In this paper, we propose bandwidth selectors for nonparametric regression with dependent errors. The methods are based on criteria that approximate the average squared error. We show that these approximations are uniform over the bandwidth sequence. The criteria involve some constants that depend on the unknown error correlations. We propose a novel way of estimating these constants. Our numerical study shows that the method is quite efficient in a variety of error models.
