冼夫人是 6世纪时岭南俚人的首领 ,她一生的活动顺应了人民群众的要求 ,力阻攻战掠奴 ,惩治贪暴、化解民族矛盾 ,鼓励俚汉联姻 ,加强封建制度、加速岭南地区的汉化进程 ,从而促进了社会安定和经济文化发展。     

法显与《法显行传》

法显是中国佛教史上一位卓越的革新人物,是中国第一位到海外取经求法并返回的大师。《法显行传》详细记录了法显求法的历程,集中体现了法显坚强的性格和艰苦卓绝的精神,对于当代心灵的启示主要体现在：一、信仰与坚持;二、胆识与忘我;三、团结与爱国。     

More wages,more income,more leisure? Evidence from Thailand’s time use survey

ABSTRACT

Does more income mean more leisure? This paper investigates the impact of wages and income on leisure time using merged data from two nationally representative samples in Thailand: (1) the Time Use Survey, and (2) the Labor Force Survey. Results will depend on our definition of income or wages. The data indicate that Thai people tend to reduce their leisure time in response to monthly income changes. The reason for such a negative relationship is that monthly income is composed of extra income other than wages, for example, overtime and bonus pay, which are found to be inversely related to leisure time. However, when the relationship between leisure time and hourly wage is estimated, we find that an increase in hourly wage substantially and significantly induces people to engage in more leisure and that a percentage change in hourly wage also provides a positive percentage change in leisure time.

自沈约说陶渊明有"无弦琴",并时常"抚弄以寄其意"以来,不断被后人寻章摘句、过甚其词乃至玄化,同时也把它与陶渊明的人品和诗品结合得天衣无缝,于是都不自觉地否定了陶渊明的"性不解音"。其实唐宋文人的"玄解"无弦琴并不是要故作高深,而是借他人之酒杯浇自己之块垒,不料今人信以为真,以致以讹传讹。要还原无弦琴的本色,必须剥去玄学外衣,知人以论世,从其交游交友之道、任真自得之性、人生境界之别、世态人情等方面对"无弦琴"进行哲学解构,陶渊明真乃"性不解音"者,随之也就理解了他的"弄琴"只是率性而为,并无"寄意"。     

The relationship between leisure and life satisfaction: application of activity and need theory

The purpose of this study was to better understand the complex relationship between leisure and life satisfaction. Components of two distinct, but potentially integrative, theoretical frameworks (i.e., activity theory and need theory) predicting the relationship between leisure and life satisfaction were tested with a sample of residents from a Midwestern community (n = 633). Findings provided support for both theoretical perspectives, but stronger relationships were found between satisfied needs than with participated activities. In spite of these findings, the various inconsistencies within the two theoretical frameworks suggest that future research is needed.     

Changing American home life: trends in domestic leisure and storage among middle-class families

This study of middle-class American families draws on ethnography and urban economic history, focusing on patterns of leisure time and household consumption and clutter. We trace how residential life evolved historically from cramped urban quarters into contemporary middle-class residences and examine how busy working families use house spaces. Our ethnographic sample consists of 24 Los Angeles families in which both parents work full time, have young children, and own their homes. Formal datasets include systematically timed family uses of home spaces, a large digital archive of photographs, and family-narrated video home tours. This analysis highlights a salient home-storage crisis, a marked shift in the uses of yards and garages, and the dissolution of outdoor leisure for busy working parents. 试论先秦史学发展的特点

先秦是中国古代史学的发端时期。从远古神话传说的出现,到甲骨金文的记事、各种史籍的产生,以至春秋战国多种历史撰述的问世,史学的一些主要方面都已形成并得到初步发展。在这个过程中,也显示出史学发展的几个重要的十分鲜明的特点,这就是文字记载由简单的片段逐步形成正式的史书并出现多种历史体裁,史官产生和史官制度形成,各种历史观点和历史观念的并存等。     

白族文化巨匠、诗人赵藩真迹的新发现

发掘赵藩亲笔手书真迹是研究赵藩的基础工作。新近发现白族诗人、中华文化巨人赵藩创作并手书的《碧峣普贤寺杨毛二贤祠记》真迹。这是我们在建设云南民族文化大省进程中,整理赵藩遗著中的一点新突破。
