高等数学习题课CAI的思考

笔者通过高等数学习题课CAI的实践，分析了高等数学CAI教学的优势及不足，提出了弥补不足的方法。讨论了现代教育技术手段应用于教学改革的必要性。     

多媒体教学的理论根据

本文从教育心理学、生理学、信息论、认知心理学等方面时多媒体教学进行了理论论证，结论是：多媒体教学是一种高效率和高质量的教学有着充分的理论根据。     

人性化理念为指导的多媒体教学

多媒体教学已成为各高校提高教学质量的重要手段之一，是传统教学方法的有力补充，在高校教学中发挥着越来越重要的作用。在多媒体教学中突出以学生为主体的人性化理念，有利于高等教育健康、快速的发展，有利于教学质量的提高，有利于培养符合时代要求的、有自主学习能力的、富于创新精神的人才。     

INNOVATION, ELECTRONIC PUBLISHING AND THE MANAGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY: What of digital piracy?

This article aims to analyse the effects of piracy on the management of intellectual property (IP) and innovation. The first section discusses the problems associated with digital technologies that are confronting rightholders, and highlights the view that the versatility of these technologies constitutes a major asset for the growth of both electronic publishing and piracy. The effect of piracy on the management of IP and innovation will be discussed in terms of (1) how IP is created; (2) the resources required to stay in the business and the difficulties in maintaining market presence; (3) the means of protection of IP, and (4) the entry barriers to the electronic publishing sector. The analysis is based on an interview sample of thirty-one small- and medium-sized UK-based electronic publishers. The article concludes that while it is right for legislators and those within the industry to seek enhanced copyright protection, it is less clear whether piracy is a material threat to investment in electronic publishing, as it is widely posited to be by the industry.     

谈社会工作多媒体教学中视频素材的使用

强调社会工作多媒体教学中视频素材的使用,是提高社会工作多媒体教学效果的应有之义,是对社会工作专业学生进行专业素养训练的便捷途径。在社会工作多媒体教学中使用视频素材时,要综合考虑社会工作专业的培养目标、课程目标,作为受众的社会工作专业学生的特点及视频素材本身的特点等多个方面,做到对视频素材合理、有效的使用。此外,还要注意以下的问题:教师要做到处处留心,注意广泛搜集素材,建立丰富的视频素材库;要充分挖掘所使用视频素材中有价值的教学因素;要注意视频素材的使用方式;在使用自制视频素材时,要注意一些伦理方面的问题。同时也要做到与其它教学方法的恰当结合。     

论高等院校多媒体教学的合理应用

随着信息技术的迅猛发展和教育现代化进程的逐步深入,多媒体教学手段已在各个高校普及推广。从教学实践的角度分析高等院校多媒体教学应用中存在的问题,为进一步促进多媒体教学深入健康地发展,提高多媒体教学水平,提出了具体建议。

信息时代对大学英语教育提出了新的挑战和要求。新世纪西部民族地区的大学英语课堂教学应该积极运用多媒体辅助教学以达到大学英语的"培养学生英语综合应用能力"的教学目标,而对如何有效运用多媒体辅助大学英语教学的研究对于西部民族地区大学英语课堂教学实践具有重大的意义。     

Multimedia Benchmarking Analysis for Three Risk Assessment Models: RESRAD, MMSOILS, and MEPAS

This paper is one in a series that describes results of a benchmarking analysis initiated by the Department of Energy (DOE) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). An overview of the study is provided in a companion paper by Laniak et al. presented in this journal issue. The three models used in the study—RESRAD (DOE), MMSOILS (EPA), and MEPAS (DOE)—represent analytically-based tools that are used by the respective agencies for performing human exposure and health risk assessments. Both single media and multimedia benchmarking scenarios were developed and executed. In this paper, the multimedia scenario is examined. That scenario consists of a hypothetical landfill that initially contained uranium-238 and methylene chloride. The multimedia models predict the fate of these contaminants, plus the progeny of uranium-238, through the unsaturated zone, saturated zone, surface water, and atmosphere. Carcinogenic risks are calculated from exposure to the contaminants via multiple pathways. Results of the tests show that differences in model endpoint estimates arise from both differences in the models' mathematical formulations and assumptions related to the implementation of the scenarios.
