Positive You: a self-advocate’s arts-based approach for building self-esteem

Positive You is an inclusive arts project supporting learning disabled people to explore self-esteem through art-making. The project was developed by self-advocate Leah Jones who observed a gap in service provision after struggling with her own confidence and self-esteem for many years. This article has been co-written by Leah and her support Jade French using a life-story approach. Leah hopes that by sharing her story, this article will not only demonstrate the value of art-making in developing self-esteem, but also that learning disabled people can develop their own employment opportunities with the right support.     

Power,capital, and artistic freedom: contemporary Chinese art communities and the city

This paper offers a critical review of the proliferation of the contemporary art colony in China since the beginning of the twenty-first century in the context of China's promotion of cultural creative industries as one of the strategies for urban development and economic growth. Through analyzing cases in Beijing, Xi’an, and Sanya, cities ranging from ‘first-tier’ to ‘third-tier’ in their size and status, the paper explores the challenges and opportunities many contemporary Chinese art professionals find themselves face amid the competitive city image building campaign, a top-down movement led by local state and private investors in cities across China. It is evident that contemporary art and alternative art spaces associated with it have been drawn into the process of commodification, inadvertently recruited to play an ancillary role in the reproduction of the hegemonic collusion between political power and capitalism in a rapidly urbanizing China. Nonetheless, I argue that the inclusion of contemporary art communities as a player in the production and reproduction of the urban space has provided critical-minded artists, critics, and curators opportunities to participate in the reconfiguration of the physical and cultural landscape of Chinese cities, albeit not always with positive outcomes. As such, some art professionals are able to appropriate the process of capitalist urbanization to create their own ‘infrastructures of resonance’ [Thompson 2015. Brooklyn: Melville House], which support artistic freedom and facilitate the growth of diverse forms of cultural creation and exchange despite the coming dominance of ‘power plus capital’ [X. 宋代山水画与词的关系及其寄托情结

寄托情结在山水画与词的意境营造中都有一定的表达,只是由于艺术类别的不同而采用不同的方式呈现。以构成词与画的主要意象为基本着眼点,将词与画中的物象表达出的比兴喻意依类作出了总结,寄寓情怀将人世之遭遇与自然之变化和花开花落相联结,昭示出人对快乐的需要和对理想生活的向往,把人生刻骨铭心的内在体验寄寓于物而得以传达。     

社会主义核心价值体系民众认同的语言艺术研究

一种理论除非彻底,否则不能为人信服。而理论彻底的关键在于语言表述是否恰当合理,偏执急躁的语言不能说服人,冗长赘余的语言使人厌恶。因此,同理论相得益彰的语言才是彻底的理论。社会主义核心价值体系作为一种政治语言和科学语言,不能为喜好群众语言和艺术语言的大众所认识和理解。因此,要求在传播和弘扬社会主义核心价值体系时,实现社会主义核心价值体系的语言转向。社会主义核心价值体系的语言艺术正是这种转向的取向之一,因为语言艺术是中国共产党传播理论的优良传统,是契合人民大众接受心理和表述习惯的方式之一,更是理论实践的结果反馈。     

黄自艺术歌曲及演唱风格研究——以歌曲《思乡》《春思曲》为例

黄自艺术歌曲是其音乐创作中最具影响的部分。选材涵盖古今诗词,在对词曲关系的处理上字斟句酌,努力实现音乐的音调、节奏与诗词的声调、韵律在内容和形式上的完美结合。他进一步把中西方音乐语汇与写作技法巧妙融合。创作风格以五声音阶为基础,融进西方作曲技法,歌曲既有民族传统风格韵味,又有西方浪漫主义音乐的风格特点。在演唱上应注意掌握层次段落,准确把握感情,恰当运用音色,合理安排节奏,注重咬字处理以及调式转换。     

艺术人类学视野下的人观表征——从《自我之舞:人观与加瓦尔地区般度戏史诗剧的表演》谈起

本文通过对相关民族志作品的分析,指出,人观研究可以使艺术人类学更深入地参与人类学主流理论的讨论,也有助于我们探寻不同文化中独特的自我建构与情感表达方式,从而推进艺术人类学的发展.     

劳度叉斗圣变未出现于敦煌吐蕃时期洞窟原因试析

学术界传统意见认为,敦煌中唐吐蕃之后洞窟中以整壁一铺巨幅画面大量出现的劳度叉斗圣变,主要是意在表现当时人们对推翻吐蕃统治的喜悦心情,属洞窟中的反蕃历史题材.但文章作者并不同意这一传统观点,而从艺术与形式的关系入手,经过对劳度叉斗圣变绘画特点的综合分析,认为劳度叉斗圣变之所以在经过北周初唐的表现后而在中唐吐蕃期洞窟中突然中断,又在晚唐五代宋洞窟中大幅表现,主要是受该类经变画表现形式的限制,其思想仍在阐释主尊造像的性格,并非是用来表现反吐蕃的洞窟绘画历史题材.     

艺术人类学再思考

通过对国外、国内艺术人类学研究的梳理和评述,了解它的独特视角和方法,进而探讨在艺术人类学研究中田野工作的特点和重要性。

目前,我国将电脑艺术设计广泛地应用于各个艺术设计领域,从工业设计、平面设计、建筑设计、室内设计到影视动画、电脑游戏……等等。由此可见电脑艺术设计专业市场前景甚好。电脑艺术设计专业的人才培养和就业已成为人们关注的焦点。如何来培养电脑艺术设计人才呢？他们的就业又将是一个什么样的处境呢？因此笔者借鉴许多前辈的优秀经验和观点阐述了对电脑艺术设计人才的培养和就业趋向的一些看法。     

L’origine sociale de la vigilance entrepreneuriale. Quand les artisans d’art se font entrepreneurs

Drawing on the concept of “entrepreneurial alertness” forged by Israël Kirzner, the article provides a sociological interpretation of the way in which entrepreneurs earn financial profits. By studying the productive diversification practised by craftsmen to make a living from their skills, he casts light on the social origin of entrepreneurial alertness. This arises from the intersection of the productive and commercial spheres: the dual role of creative craftsmen as both producers and sellers enables them to identify price differences between inputs and outputs from which they can profit. Because of their embeddedness in a professional community, however, there are limits on how much profit they can make. Entrepreneurial alertness is shaped by professional ethics.
