Enhancing Critical Reflection amongst Social Work Students: The Contribution of an Experiential Learning Group in Care Homes for Older People

As part of a Practice Learning Centre, representing a partnership between an English University social work department and a non-governmental organisation, 12 students were placed in care homes for older people for their first period of assessed practice. The aims of this initiative were to facilitate: development of critical reflection; deployment of social work skills in a care home setting; and opportunities for social work students to work with care home residents. The learning was captured via four Experiential Groups facilitated by the Practice Educator with responsibility for assessing the students' practice. On-site supervisors also participated. Key learning included understanding of: the importance of critical reflection as a key social work skill; the influence of organisational norms and care home culture on the quality of care practice; the complexity and emotion-rich nature of person-centred care; and the pivotal role of relationships in work with people with dementia. Links made in the Groups—between the experiential and theoretical, the emotional and cognitive, and the structural and personal—demonstrate their value as learning platforms. Placements in care homes have considerable potential to enrich practice education; this is especially important in the context of an ageing population.

建立我国农村群体性突发事件预防体系的行政反思

本文从行政角度反思了我国农村群体性突发事件的主因和建立预防农村群体性突发事件体系的现实基础,认为应当建立以完善宣传教育制度,落实民主科学决策,畅通沟通渠道,加大监督、考核和奖惩制度的执行力这四项内容为主体的农村群体性突发事件预防体系,极力减少我国农村群体性突发事件的发生,为新农村建设营造一个和谐稳定的发展环境。     

A dual-processing view of three cognitive strategies in strategic decision making: Intuition,analytic reasoning,and reframing

In making strategic decisions, managers implicitly or explicitly come to choose a cognitive strategy, by which we refer to the choices made as regards what type of information processing to engage in and rely on as the basis for a decision. Dual-processing theories of cognition recognize two types of information processing: non-conscious and conscious. There are two cognitive strategies—relying on intuition and engaging in analytic reasoning—that have a straightforward connection to the two types of information processing. However, managers often engage in reframing, that is, they deliberately attempt to rethink the background assumptions concerning how one approaches a decision-making situation. Despite the strategic importance of reframing, the foundations of this cognitive strategy remain theoretically underdeveloped. We argue that reframing involves both Type 1 and Type 2 processing in a complementary fashion. Specifically, reframing can be induced through conscious reflection and non-conscious processing during an incubation period. Furthermore, we argue that while reframing is a robust cognitive strategy across varying levels of environmental dynamism, dedicating time to reframing incurs significant opportunity costs, and can thus be employed only sparingly.

2004年神话理论研究的突出成果有反思神话的定义与以图腾主义研究神话;《山海经》研究方法的争鸣与反思等。而少数民族神话研究者少、外国神话研究重复不前、田野调查及相关研究少等问题也亟待引起学者们重视。研究者要有反思意识,注意研究的规范化、多学科观照及加强学术争鸣与对话。

列宁“反映论”将意识看作一种辩证运动：它不仅反映物质世界,而且还能改变它。这种观点不是“无根”的,而是从恩格斯起步,逐渐向德国古典哲学(黑格尔)靠拢、再向古希腊亚里斯多德和赫拉克利特“摹份说”延伸的——对此,理论界似很少有人提及。     

关于贫困地区农村家庭养老问题的思考——以甘肃省庆阳市镇原县张老庄村为例

家庭养老是目前我国贫困地区农村主要的养老保障形式。对甘肃省镇原县张老庄村家庭养老现状的研究表明,农村老年人在经济来源、生活照料、精神慰藉等方面对家庭和子女的依赖性较强,尽管家庭养老的保障水平较低,但老年人对家庭养老的满意度较高。笔者从历史、文化、经济、制度等方面对家庭养老长期存在的原因进行了分析,指出了新时期家庭养老的诸多弊端,提出了家庭、社区、社会三位一体的养老模式。     

网络“人肉搜索”现象的伦理思考

“人肉搜索”作为一种搜索的手段和工具,在其表现出对人类社会积极方面的同时,亦带来许多负面的影响。应当从伦理道德的视域去考察、剖析“人肉搜索”所带来的问题,并思考其健康发展的路径。     

反思与整合:构建当代多民族构成的中华民族道德文明

中华文明千百年的发展与和谐是靠了各个民族的自我规范、自我制约和自律机制才形成的。在历史的长河中,中国56个民族优秀的传统道德观念汇聚成了中华民族的道德文明。不应囿限在“孔孟”或“儒家”的圈子里来谈中华民族的伦理道德遗产,而应从更广的角度来梳理和研究中国各民族的优秀道德文明,各民族都应该相互吸取传统的优良道德观,只有进行整体意义上的中华民族优秀道德整合,才会使中华民族的文明和民族精神不断焕发出生机。     

关于安乐死的立法和思考

安乐死是当今世界公众关注的热点之一 ,涉及道德、医学、法学和社会学等领域 ,由于对于人是否有权决定结束自己的生命的看法不一致 ,法律上明文规定允许安乐死的尚不多。荷兰的立法代表了安乐死立法的发展方向 ,启示我们对于安乐死的深入思考 ,从保障人权和有利社会的高度对待安乐死的问题
