教材的优劣是教学成败的关键．近年来,由于统考的压力,我们的英语听力教学普遍存在偏重“应试教育”的问题．这一现象制约了学生英语听力水平的全面提高．《研究生英语听说教程》是一本旨在全面提高学生真实听力水平的好教材．它全部采用真实材料,突出语篇水平上的听力技能训练,每篇课文、每套练习都有明确的训练目的．由易到难,循序渐进．该教材的出版和使用为优化听力教学提供了新的契机．     

论鲁迅小说的非常规修辞艺术

鲁迅的小说集《呐喊》与《彷徨》是一部"语言的艺术作品"。作为语言艺术大师,鲁迅非常重视修辞,非常善于修辞。他的小说内蕴着伟大的精神、广播的知识和真知灼见,同时又体现了高超的修辞技巧和独特的语言风格。这主要体现在:丰富独创的辞格运用;古朴凝练的短句艺术;多彩精湛的语言变异艺术。     

明清家训的文学价值

自古以来,我国就极为重视家庭教育,家训正是在这种文化背景中流存下来的家庭教育文献。明清两朝是中国传统家训的鼎盛时期,对明清家训的研究,学者多从社会学、伦理学、哲学等方面入手,而对其文学价值的探讨则显得较为薄弱。本文拟就明清家训的文学价值作一整体概述,以期引起学人对此问题的关注。     

Organizational identification as a mediator for the effects of psychological contract breaches on organizational citizenship behavior: Insights from the perspective of ethnic minority employees

This study examines the contribution of the psychological contract (PC) framework to the understanding of ethnic minority employees’ employment relationships. First, it tests the generalizability of PC types (transactional, relational, and balanced) observed in the general population to ethnic minority employees. Then, to further address the unique needs and motivators of minority employees, this study considers diversity-related PCs. It adopts social exchange theory to explain how transactional, relational, balanced, and diversity-related PC breaches predict organizational citizenship behavior (OCB). Moreover, it draws insights from social identity theory and examines the mediating role of organizational identification in the relationship between types of PC breach and OCB. Data from 361 Turkish employees working as ethnic minorities in Belgium indicate that relational and diversity-related PC breaches predict OCB partially via organizational identification while transactional and balanced PC breaches directly affect OCB.     

How does cultural capital affect educational performance: Signals or skills?

In this paper, we test two mechanisms through which cultural capital might affect educational performance: (a) teachers misinterpreting cultural capital as signals of academic brilliance and (b) cultural capital fostering skills in children that enhance educational performance. We analyse data from the ECLS-K and ECLS-K:2011 from the United States and focus on three aspects of children’s cultural capital: participation in performing arts, reading interest and participation in athletics and clubs. We find that (1) none of the three aspects of cultural capital that we consider affects teachers’ evaluations of children’s academic skills; (2) reading interest has a direct positive effect on educational performance; and (3) the direct effect of reading interest on educational performance does not depend on schooling context. Our results provide little support for the hypothesis that cultural capital operates via signals about academic brilliance. Instead, they suggest that cultural capital fosters skills in children that enhance educational performance. We discuss the theoretical implications of our findings.     

Mothers' interoceptive knowledge predicts children's emotion regulation and social skills in middle childhood

Interoception, often defined as the perception of internal physiological changes, is implicated in many adult social affective processes, but its effects remain understudied in the context of parental socialization of children's emotions. We hypothesized that what parents know about the interoceptive concomitants of emotions, or interoceptive knowledge (e.g., “my heart races when excited”), may be especially relevant in emotion socialization and in supporting children's working models of emotions and the social world. We developed a measure of mothers' interoceptive knowledge about their own emotions and examined its relation to children's social affective outcomes relative to other socialization factors, including self‐reported parental behaviors, emotion beliefs, and knowledge of emotion‐relevant situations and non‐verbal expressions. To assess these, mothers (N = 201) completed structured interviews and questionnaires. A few months later, third‐grade teachers rated children's social skills and emotion regulation observed in the classroom. Results indicated that mothers' interoceptive knowledge about their own emotions was associated with children's social affective skills (emotion regulation, social initiative, cooperation, self‐control), even after controlling for child gender and ethnicity, family income, maternal stress, and the above maternal socialization factors. Overall, findings suggest that mothers' interoceptive knowledge may provide an additional, unique pathway by which children acquire social affective competence.

中国社会思想及其现代性——第七届中国社会思想史年会综述

2009年11月13日至15日,由中国社会思想史专业委员会、吉林大学社会发展理论创新基地和吉林大学哲学社会学院联合举办的"中国社会思想及其现代性"学术研讨会在吉林大学召开,本次会议同时也是中国社会思想史的第七届年会.来自中国社会科学院、南京大学、南开大学、武汉大学、复旦大学、中国人民大学、北京工业大学、山东大学等科研机构和高校的50余名专家学者出席了会议.在两天的会议日程中,与会代表就相关问题展开了热烈讨论,取得了丰硕的成果,现就主要议题和观点作简要梳理.
