高校公共体育课“2S”教学理念的提出与实施

依据“健康第一”、“以人为本”的理念,结合体育教学基本理论,针对我国大学生体质健康状况急剧下降的严峻形式,创造性地提出高校公共体育“2S”教学理念,强调“微笑”与“出汗”的相互融合。该教学理念重视快乐体育教学模式、成功体育教育模式的价值,突出教学内容专项化,教学过程的科学负荷,教学方法的多样化,强调教学组织以学生为主体,教学评价重视过程评价。     

美国粮食价格突变及其对国内农业安全的启示

美国粮食市场价格突变可能为我国农业安全带来不可估量的冲击。以玉米和大豆产业为例,选取2000—2013年季度价格相关数据,基于PPM模型识别了玉米和大豆价格突变节点并测算其形成原因。实证结果显示,自21世纪以来,全美玉米市场共发生了六次价格上升突变、两次价格下降突变;大豆市场则历经四次价格上升突变、两次价格下降突变。粮价突变是供需因素与国际贸易、原油价格、美元指数变动等众多非供需因素共同作用的结果,因所处政治经济背景不同,各阶段形成原因也不尽相同。分析表明,美国粮价突变首先通过价格信息与贸易渠道间接的影响国内玉米和大豆价格;然后经由其他农产品价格波动、短期供给波动、国际游资及外商控制等路径对国内农业安全带来威胁。     

T.S.艾略特在《四个四重奏》中的本土意识

T.S.艾略特的《四个四重奏》反映出诗人的本土意识,即美国及美国文化的烙印.虽然艾略特并没有像其他美国诗人如惠特曼那样成为真正"美国制造"的本土诗人,《四个四重奏》却不妨被贴上"美国制造"的标签--诗歌中流露出的美国哲学思想的影响,具有美国本土影像的意象清晰可辨.文章着重挖掘诗歌中体现美国文化的哲学内容和诗歌意象,从而证明本土意识在艾略特《四个四重奏》创作中的重要意义.     

The influence of acculturation level and family relationships on quality of life among U.S. Chinese older adults

ABSTRACT

The present study examined the influence of acculturation level and family relationships (i.e., positive family support and negative family strain) on quality of life (QOL), using the data from the Population Study of ChINese Elderly (PINE) in Chicago (N = 3159). Controlling for sociodemographic variables and health status, it was found that individuals’ acculturation level and positive family support were positively related to QOL, whereas negative family strain was negatively associated with QOL. More importantly, higher acculturation levels were associated with increased protective effects of positive family support and reduced risk effects of negative family strain on QOL among U.S. Chinese older adults.     

Pure Gold for Broken Bodies: Discursive Techniques Constructing Milk Banking and Peer Milk Sharing in U.S. News

Technological advances provide increased ability to transfer human tissues—blood, organs, milk—from one body to another. This article analyzes mechanisms of reality construction in U.S. news to construct shared human breast milk. Articles used typifications and human interest stories to convey participants as victims, lay heroes, and villains. Milk banking was portrayed as institutionally integrated through associations, expert testimonies, and formalized procedures, making banked milk “pure gold.” Peer sharing was portrayed as institutionally opposed through institutional warnings, expert testimonies, informal procedures, and hypothetical atrocities, making peer milk “fool's gold.” Findings suggest that “biovalue” of human milk is interconnected with institutional processing.     

影响创新扩散速度的社会和技术因素之研究

通过对美国、中国内地和香港等不同地区不同创新物在各自特定时空中的扩散轨迹的总结和分析,把影响创新扩散的因素归纳为两大类:社会的和技术的。其中,社会因素又区分为创新产生的年代和创新扩散的地区,而技术因素主要指创新属性,分为计算类、电信类、家庭娱乐类和大众媒介类。研究结果发现,社会因素中的创新出现的时间对于创新扩散的形态具有显著影响;扩散所在地区和创新特性对创新扩散的形态没有显著影响。     

POWER APPROXIMATIONS FOR A TWO-ECHELON INVENTORY SYSTEM USING SERVICE LEVELS

We consider a two-echelon inventory system with one warehouse and several stores. The warehouse as well as the stores are controlled by periodic review (s, S) inventory policies. We study the interrelationship between the safety stocks at the warehouse and the stores. Stockouts at the warehouse will result in supply delays to the stores and cause the lead time to be stochastic. The stores may react by increasing their safety stock. However, there is a trade-off between the safety stock at the warehouse and the safety stock at the stores. We use a service level at the warehouse to quantify the effect of warehouse stockouts on the lead time to the stores. The service level at the warehouse is considered a decision variable to find the best compromise between the various safety stocks by minimizing the overall costs. Using power approximations for the (s, S) policies, we provide an iterative procedure for adjusting the lead time distribution to the stores; this can result in substantial savings, but it doesn't guarantee the overall optimality. Numerical studies are provided to test the accuracy of approximations. The effects of the different system parameters on the inventory policy give general guidelines for use of the policies.     

借鉴美国经验,促进广州大数据产业发展

基于海量数据资源的挖掘和应用催生的大数据产业,是新一代信息领域的重点产业及大数据时代的基础支撑产业,是全球下一个发展创新、角力竞争、提高生产力的战略性产业。目前,国内外大数据产业标准和产业格局尚未形成,这是广州促进大数据产业跨越发展的难得机会。广州应借鉴美国等发达国家经验,把握大数据时代到来的机遇,高度重视和超前谋划,整合资源合力加快广州大数据产业跨越发展,抢占战略性新兴产业发展的制高点。     

Nonparametric control charts based on runs and Wilcoxon-type rank-sum statistics

In this article, we introduce three new distribution-free Shewhart-type control charts that exploit run and Wilcoxon-type rank-sum statistics to detect possible shifts of a monitored process. Exact formulae for the alarm rate, the run length distribution, and the average run length (ARL) are all derived. A key advantage of these charts is that, due to their nonparametric nature, the false alarm rate (FAR) and in-control run length distribution is the same for all continuous process distributions. Tables are provided for the implementation of the charts for some typical FAR values. Furthermore, a numerical study carried out reveals that the new charts are quite flexible and efficient in detecting shifts to Lehmann-type out-of-control situations.     

共名状态下“母亲”的伦理困境——社会学视角

《母亲》是赛珍珠荣获诺贝尔文学奖的七部作品之一,也是赛珍珠作品中最为独特的一部.“母亲”的共名身份,是在特定生存环境所编织而就的伦理关系网中确立的;其身份危机与角色冲突导致了一系列伦理困境:“母亲”的生命冲动与生活其间的社会空间、物质空间、精神空间冲突产生的伦理困境,诚实与谎言、忠诚与背叛、珍视生命与对生命扼杀两难导致的罪与罚的伦理困境,女性身份认同与性别歧视观念的矛盾导致的伦理困境等.赛珍珠用“共名”身份塑造的母亲形象,使“母亲”成为中国劳动母亲们的典型形象,因而超越了个体意义而具有了普适性特征.
