本报告在实证调查的基础上,对浙江省中小企业的伦理道德状况作了理论分析。报告认为,浙江省中小企业的伦理道德总体上呈现出良性的发展态势,但也存在诸多不足。报告建议政府有关部门加大对中小企业进行伦理道德教育的力度,强化中小企业在纳税、环保、科技创新等方面的法律意识、道德意识,并为中小企业的伦理道德建设营造良好的外部环境。中小企业自身则应加强伦理道德建设的自觉性和自愿性,并注意发挥工会、党团组织、职工代表大会在企业伦理道德建设过程中的作用。  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to explore an apparent disjunction between espoused professional ethics and ethics in practice, and between law in statute and law in action. Social work in England is used as the main case study, however, research from other jurisdictions is drawn upon to demonstrate wider concern about departures from moral and legal rules. The evidence of the disjunction is presented, drawing principally from judicial review cases, investigations by the Commissioner for Local Administration (Ombudsman), inquiry evidence and government reports. The article critiques the current regulatory apparatus in England and the mechanisms by which staff and service users can hold public organisations, particularly councils with social services responsibilities, accountable. The interface between law and ethics is reviewed. The paper concludes with observations about strengthening legal and ethical literacy in practice.  相似文献

Abstract

First, we examine several of the more prominent theoretical approaches in ethics (the utilitarian, absolute rule, principle based, and ethics of care approaches) and find the principle-based, common morality approach, and the ethics of care approach to be the two approaches that are most relevant to the types of ethical decisions practitioners characteristically are confronted with in a social work setting. We then propose combining these two approaches, taking into consideration the advantages and drawbacks of each, such that in application these two approaches can be seen to complement one another. We show in two brief hypothetical cases how the combined approach can be used to guide practitioners' ethical decision-making in real life situations.  相似文献

Adaptive designs are sometimes used in a phase III clinical trial with the goal of allocating a larger number of patients to the better treatment. In the present paper we use some adaptive designs in a two-treatment two-period crossover trial in the presence of possible carry-over effects, where the treatment responses are binary. We use some simple designs to choose between the possible treatment combinations AA, AB, BA or BB. The goal is to use the better treatment a larger proportion of times. We calculate the allocation proportions to the possible treatment combinations and their standard deviations. We also investigate related inferential problems, for which related asymptotics are derived. The proposed procedure is compared with a possible competitor. Finally we use real data sets to illustrate the applicability of our proposed design.  相似文献

In this paper I share my personal journey from agency social worker to psychoanalyst. I show how I have brought to my psychoanalytic work the teachings of such well known social workers as Mary Richmond, Bertha Reynolds, Gordon Hamilton, and Florence Hollis as well those of such contemporary social workers as the late Gertrude and Rubin Blanck, Nancy Bridges, and Eda Goldstein, among others. In the presentation, I also consider how social work values, social work ethics and social work attitudes have influenced my approach to the practice of psychoanalysis. The attitudes which I refer to, include flexibility, beginning where the client is; an appreciation of the importance of understanding a patient’s cultural background and a recognition of the importance of the relationship in the therapeutic encounter. These were not standard for psychoanalysts at the time I began to practice. Today however psychoanalysis has largely caught up with social work, and this paper affirms how those of us who have had a social work background are well prepared for psychoanalysis in the 21st century.

Research supports the positive impact of mentoring on both job and career satisfaction. Recognizing this, the American Statistical Association (ASA) has started a new mission-centered focus on mentoring. This article describes the development and implementation of meeting-based mentoring programs at four ASA conferences in 2014 and 2015. We present results of the feedback evaluations from program participants and use them to motivate recommendations for creating and running conference mentoring programs and overcoming common challenges. These recommendations are applicable to creating and running conference mentoring programs in any field. We conclude with a discussion of the opportunities for the ASA to augment its mentoring programs in support of the professional development of its members.  相似文献

The problems for faculty women in statistics (FWIS) in the United States are complex and call for programs that aim to develop inclusive leadership competencies among both FWIS and faculty men in statistics (FMIS) regardless of whether they currently hold, or aspire to, administrative positions. Data indicate that, among faculty in doctorate-granting departments of statistics and biostatistics, there is a disparity between genders in numbers of role models or exemplars. Yet we note that there have been some innovative national initiatives over the years in mentoring, networking, or leadership that have been instrumental in advancing FWIS. Given current understandings of the role of implicit bias in sustaining a differential status for FWIS, this discussion emphasizes a new approach as a way to further advance FWIS: one that involves the development of inclusive leadership among both men and women toward promoting inclusive faculty cultures in statistics.  相似文献
