狂欢中的另类理性:中国恶搞文化的话语批判

恶搞,作为一种另类的话语实践,在创设的虚拟话语世界中通过话语混杂张扬了一种狂欢式的另类理性.在技术时代的娱乐性基础上,恶槁文化还彰显着草根性、宣泄性、解构性、对话性、二元性等多重话语质性;同时,恶搞话语在认真的荒诞中所隐蕴的喜剧思维和批判精神敷陈了其去伪存真后在社会转型和变革时期的存在主义价值,但恶搞话语由于自身的局限性和多元因素的影响也深深打上了流行文化和机会主义的烙印.     

Modeling association between multivariate correlated outcomes and high-dimensional sparse covariates: the adaptive SVS method

The problem of modeling the relationship between a set of covariates and a multivariate response with correlated components often arises in many areas of research such as genetics, psychometrics, signal processing. In the linear regression framework, such task can be addressed using a number of existing methods. In the high-dimensional sparse setting, most of these methods rely on the idea of penalization in order to efficiently estimate the regression matrix. Examples of such methods include the lasso, the group lasso, the adaptive group lasso or the simultaneous variable selection (SVS) method. Crucially, a suitably chosen penalty also allows for an efficient exploitation of the correlation structure within the multivariate response. In this paper we introduce a novel variant of such method called the adaptive SVS, which is closely linked with the adaptive group lasso. Via a simulation study we investigate its performance in the high-dimensional sparse regression setting. We provide a comparison with a number of other popular methods under different scenarios and show that the adaptive SVS is a powerful tool for efficient recovery of signal in such setting. The methods are applied to genetic data.     

Counternarratives of students’ experiences returning to comprehensive schools from an involuntary disciplinary alternative school

Educators’ excessive uses of exclusionary discipline have led to increased placements of students in disciplinary alternative schools, but few studies examine student experiences after their alternative school placements. Using a theoretical framework informed by critical race theory and the role of the discourse of safety in student discipline, we compose the counternarratives of nine middle school students’ experiences with the transition from an involuntary disciplinary placement back to a comprehensive school. We then analyze across cases to identify commonalities in their stories. Findings show that students experience dehumanization and exclusion that reflect second-class citizenship. We discuss how educators can resist perpetuating this under class even as the overtly racist rhetoric of populist nationalism replaces the neoliberal color-blind version of the discourse of safety.

Testing for multiple upper and lower outliers in an exponential sample

Due to wide applicability and simplicity, the exponential distribution is the most commonly used distribution in reliability engineering and other life testing experiments. In this paper a test statistic for testing upper and lower outliers simultaneously in an exponential sample is proposed. However, the distribution of test statistic under the alternative is rather intricate, the null distribution is derived and critical values are obtained. A simulation study is also carried out to compare the performance of test and is found that the test based on this statistic is more powerful than the other two selected tests.     

市场经济条件下人民调解的地位重构

人民调解是我国解决民间纠纷的重要方式,但近年来,随着市场经济体制的确立和发展,人民调解逐渐呈显弱势迹象。为适应市场经济需要,人民调解应重新定位为替代性纠纷解决机制。替代性解纷机制可以实现纠纷解决资源的优化配置和高效利用。调解能更充分地体现主体的民主参与性;调解机制更易发现适当的纠纷解决方案;调解不具有严格的程序性;调解更能实现理性化的公正;调解具有人际关系的整合功能。为实现人民调解的地位重构,现阶段的人民调解制度需要进一步完善。     

论行政机关裁决民事纠纷的性质

依据传统的行政法学理论,行政裁决权是一种行政权,对于行政裁决不服应当依照行政诉讼程序对裁决主体提起行政诉讼。这种认识导致了相关制度的建构越来越偏离现代纠纷解决机制的正常轨道。从行政权和司法权的本质来看,行政裁决权应当属于司法权,行政裁决制度属于现代委任司法制度的重要组成部分,只有以此为基础,才能理顺行政裁决与司法诉讼之间的关系,进而建立符合现代社会需求的多元和规范的纠纷解决机制。     

元刊杂剧选择问旬研究

汉语选择问句从先秦到近代发生了重要变化,元刊杂剧作为现存唯一的元刻杂剧选本,是我们研究近代汉语的珍贵文献。全面考察元刊杂剧中并列问句和反复问句的结构后发现,“VPNegVP”式在元刊杂剧中是一种占据优势的反复问句,“是”字并列问句在元刊杂剧时代也有较大的发展;在句尾语气词趋于减少的同时,元刊杂剧中出现了大量句中语气词,这与汉语发展的总体趋势是相符的,又带有元杂剧自身的显著特征。
