关于可供取舍的可能性原则的一个再思考——在哈里·G.法兰克福的自主性理论框架内

法兰克福在关于相容性问题的讨论当中最引人注目的贡献,就是通过法兰克福反例对可供取舍的可能性原则进行的批驳.但是,可供取舍的可能性原则所表达的那种必要性似乎仍然是我们的一个难以消除的直觉.尝试在法兰克福的自主性理论框架内找到一种对可供取舍的可能性原则的解释,或许能够为我们的这个直觉和法兰克福的自主性理论同时提供支持.     

中国农村居民纯收入聚类分析

应用聚类分析法对我国1992—2006年农村居民人均纯收入进行研究,聚类结果将我国各地区农村居民人均纯收入划分为7大类,而地理因素、政策因素、产业结构因素和收入来源差异因素是各类别农民收入水平存在差异性的重要原因。     

比例失衡、制度变迁与性别和谐--中国妇女参政的新制度主义经济学分析

在倡导人类社会包容性发展的大潮之中，妇女需要提高政治地位以更好的发展，而政治更需要妇女的参与才能促进善政和善治。然而，妇女的政治赋权尚未引起重视，权力尖端女性缺位，公共管理部门女性比例偏低是中国妇女参政不容忽视的问题。问题的根源在于制度上的缺陷，从而将女性置于政治边缘。基于此，提出强制性与诱致性制度变迁相结合的模式，促进政治文明建设与权力领域中的男女平等，实现政治领域中的公平正义。     

Minimally changed run sequences in factorial experiments

Randomization of run sequences in factorial experiments may result in large number of changes in factor levels which will make the experimentation expensive, time-consuming and difficult. Experiments in which it is difficult to change the levels of factor(s) use of minimally changed run sequences may often be preferable to a random run sequence. In the present paper, we have developed method for obtaining minimally changed run sequences for factorial experiments. The general expression of factor-wise number of level changes for the developed minimally changed run sequences has also been obtained. A relationship has been established between the time count effect of a lower order factorial with minimally changed run sequences and that of a higher order factorial with minimally changed run sequences obtained through the lower order minimally changed run sequences. For providing a readymade solution to the end users, a SAS macro has also been developed for generating these minimally changed run sequences along with its parameters.     

The Cucconi Test for Location-scale Alternatives in Application to Asymmetric Hydrological Variables

To identify location-scale trends, which environmental data often exhibit, location-scale tests have to be addressed. The aim of this article was to estimate size and power of the Cucconi rank-based test when applied to various skewed distributions, typical in hydrology. Results of the Monte Carlo simulation revealed great power for series with low coefficient of variation, time of change close to the middle, not very heavy tail, and with length of at least 60. Comparison to the Lepage test discovered larger usefulness of the Cucconi test for short series and change close to the middle. Several practical applications were presented.     

A Transformation Programme for Children's Social Care Managers Using an Interactional and Reflective Supervision Model to Develop Supervision Skills

In this paper, I describe a programme to promote interactional and reflective supervision for managers in children's services. The programme works at whole system change to embed a culture of reflective practice and management.     

The Shifting Sands of Open Access Publishing,a Publisher's View

Abstract

This paper sets Open Access (OA) publishing in the context of today's scientific, technical, and medical (STM) publishing trends. Four areas are covered: (a) a brief overview of STM publishing and its value today; (b) OA's place in the industry; (c) the underlying economics of OA, particularly its author-pays model; and (d) directions in moving towards “universal access” to STM information, where both researchers and the public have access to the scientific information they need.     

论基于组织变革的员工绩效影响模型与机制

本文从分析组织变革对员工绩效产生的影响入手,具体探讨了组织变革的四个方面即组织结构变革、组织文化变革、组织技术变革、组织人员变革对员工绩效的影响,并得出以下结论:有计划并且得到员工支持的组织变革会对员工绩效产生积极影响;代表员工共同价值观和利益观的组织文化变革会推动员工绩效发展;替代式技术变革会对员工的任务绩效产生直接影响。     

Privatize your name: Symbolic work in a post-Soviet linguistic market

This paper analyzes the new names given to Russian private businesses that have appeared after the collapse of the Soviet State in 1991. By naming new private ventures their owners members of the new business class attempt to privatize public space not only legally but also symbolically and linguistically. They strive to construct their particular new version of social reality, to represent it as positive and meaningful, and to impose themselves publicly as legitimate authors, owners, and masters of this new reality. This paper proceeds on several distinct levels of analysis. First, it analyzes a number of discourses, representing various subcultures and periods of Soviet and Russian history, from which new business names draw their complex meanings. Second, it considers concrete linguistic and semiotic techniques that are employed by the new names in this process. Third, it examines the cultural and social implications of this process of nomination for post-Soviet developments in the Russian society.     

Multiple hypothesis test for parameter constancy based on recursive residuals

This article presents a multiple hypothesis test procedure that combines two well known tests for structural change in the linear regression model, the CUSUM test and the recursive t test. The CUSUM test is run through the sequence of recursive residuals as usual; if the CUSUM plot does not violate the critical lines, one more step is taken to perform the t test for hypothesis of zero mean based on all recursive residuals. The asymptotic size of this multiple hypothesis test is derived; power simulation results suggest that it outperforms the traditional CUSUM test and complements other tests that are currently stressed in econometrics.
