关于培养国贸专业学生成才的几点思考

我国即将加入世贸组织 ,这对从事国际贸易的专业人才提出了更高的要求。我校应根据现实情况 ,结合学校特色 ,培养具有良好的思想道德素质、过硬的专业素质以及较高的文化素质和心理素质的新型国贸人才。     

‘Even if Martians exist,they’re far from our everyday life’: faculty perspectives regarding gay and lesbian students in social work education

Following a study on gay and lesbian students’ experiences in a Social Work Department in Greece, this qualitative study explores faculty perspectives regarding lesbian and gay students in social work education. Perceptions of gay and lesbian students’ invisibility and low level of comfort were held in common by participants, although some faculty members referred to the more inclusive and accepting climate of the Social Work Department compared to other higher education Departments and Greek society in general. Most participants reported that same-sex sexuality issues are inadequately covered in the curriculum. Displays of heterosexist behaviour by students were reported by most participants and so were conflicts among students when same-sex sexuality issues were discussed in class. The lack of official anti-discrimination policies that include sexual orientation was highlighted. In the absence of a common strategy regarding the teaching of same-sex sexuality content, faculty determined on an individual level how and to what extent to discuss such issues in the classroom. At times the faculty appeared willing but not adequately prepared to approach gay and lesbian issues. Implications for social work education are discussed.

随着信息技术的蓬勃发展,交互式网络平台被广泛应用于教学中,大学英语教学也不例外。本文通过调查问卷,分析并探讨交互式网络平台下大学英语教学的现状,旨在借助交互式网络平台的辅助作用提高大学英语教学效果。     

High‐frequency family contact: a road to nowhere for infants

Understanding the practices which support the best interests of infants when placed in out‐of‐home care in the first year of life is a significant challenge. A study based in Victoria, Australia, explored the practice by the Children's Court of ordering high‐frequency contact (4–7 days a week) with the infant's mother and father when they are placed in care in the first year of life. A literature review revealed little attention to the issue of frequency of family contact for infants. An audit of case files of all infants in care in mid‐2007 showed that at 1 year follow‐up, there was no difference in the reunification rate for children with a period of high‐frequency contact and those with less contact with their mothers and fathers. Focus groups revealed deep divisions of opinion about high‐frequency family contact which are played out in the adversarial Children's Court system in Victoria. The study highlights the complexity of understanding and supporting the attachment relationships at this critical period in the infant's life.     

Do military veteran and civilian students function differently in college?

Objective: The authors sought to assess military veterans' functioning in college by comparing their experience with that of civilian students. Participants: The study, conducted from April 2012 to February 2013, included 445 civilian and 61 student service member/veteran (SSM/V) undergraduates, drawn from a community college and two 4-year Catholic colleges, in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. Methods: Participants completed anonymous online surveys. Six areas of functioning in transition to college were examined: Health, Fitting In, Emotional Adjustment, Productivity, Perceived Career Support, and Social Engagement. Results: Students, both SSM/V and civilian, with past exposure to a potentially traumatic event fit in worse than students without such exposure. Past exposure to trauma was associated with poorer emotional adjustment in civilian students, but not in SSM/V. Conclusions: Implications of results were discussed.     

Multicultural education in Thailand

This study examines multicultural education policy in Thailand. The researcher used the qualitative research methods of interviewing, observation and document examination to obtain data. Theory about multicultural education was used as a theoretical framework. The sites of study were eight primary schools that served students from diverse cultures – Muslim, Buddhist, Burmese, Cambodian and Thai – in the southern provinces of Thailand. Results showed that current educational policies do provide opportunity for migrant students to access public education. The Ministry of Education has allowed schools to apply their own rules and regulations that reflect the diverse cultures of their students. The results also show that the curriculum includes references to various cultures, that textbooks contain content that encourages students to live in harmony with people from different cultures and that some schools have implemented bilingual education programs. However, deeper analysis of school practices made it clear that what seems to be an acceptance of cultural diversity is just another form of assimilation. The well-established features that define Thainess remain intact and the inclusion of culturally specific content is insufficient to change the unequal power relations among dominant and minority groups in Thailand.

高校基层管理人员自我价值感的状况,直接地影响着这个群体潜能的发挥和工作绩效的提高。目前,对部分高校基层管理人员来说,工作的事务性、程序性和职位与职称晋升的障碍使自我价值感降低。运用《论语》中的相关心灵策略,树立远大的职业理想,正确客观地认识自己,培育从容的平和心态,可一定程度上提高自我价值感。

文章从理论层面和前瞻性角度分析论述了在市场化、智能化、信息化、国际化的社会发展中，论述了高校开设犯罪心理与自卫防身课程的必要性、可行性。同时对开设此类课程的方案进行了探讨。     

高师音乐教育理念的革新与实践

高师音乐教育改革在取得了很大进步的同时也存在一些不足。这些不足主要包括音乐教育的理念认知尚不明晰、学科与专业发展定位不够准确和内容体系的构建不够完善等。文章从高师音乐教育改革的现状、高师音乐教育理念的革新和内容体系的构建等三个方面进行论述,分析了影响高师音乐教育改革进一步发展的制约因素,阐释了高师音乐教育理念应具有的属性和特征,并列数了构建高师音乐教育内容体系的几个主要领域。在此基础上提出了高师音乐教育改革的发展思路。
