浅谈鲁迅小说"取法"的广泛性和深刻性——从冯雪峰的一个观点说起

在鲁迅小说研究中,许多人认为只有《狂人日记》“取法”于果戈理的《狂人日记》比较明显,其实鲁迅的“取法”不仅如此。他受外国许多作家的影响,但可贵的是仍保持了鲜明的民族性,因而具有其他作家所无法企及的思想的深刻性。     

城市化与社会文明秩序的重建——中国现当代文学中的"进城"问题

作为现代化运动的一项重要内容,中国社会的城市化多方面决定着现代生活,同时,也对中国现当代文学产生了深刻的影响.形形色色的"进城"问题构成了中国现当代文学的一个贯穿性主题.本文分三部分,分别从长期性、曲折性、深刻性、复杂性、现实性、紧迫性着眼,择要论述这一主题在中国现当代文学各阶段、各层面的表现及其现实意义.指出:无论是从政治一经济层面看,还是从伦理一美学层面看,"进城"都为当代中国社会带来了巨大的风险,同时也为中国式市民社会的形成,为新的社会道德、信仰、伦理、美学秩序的建立提供了根本性的机遇.     

Aesthetics of disaster as decolonial aesthetics: making sense of the effects of Hurricane María through Puerto Rican contemporary art

ABSTRACT

On 20 September 2017, Hurricane María made landfall on Puerto Rico causing unprecedented disaster. From that day onwards, the Puerto Rican multi-layered colonial, social and political context was further complicated by the traumatic acceleration of a human disaster via this natural disaster. This crystalized the urgency of using art as vehicle for (social) catharsis, a practice that continues to be used by individual artists, collectives, community organizations, art projects, and other art institutions on the island and abroad, through mural art, community paintings, art exhibitions, literature, music, and many other aesthetic expressions. This article examines, from a decolonial and critical cultural studies perspective, post-Hurricane María artistic expressions in contemporary art as decolonial aesthetics through the cathartic use of the frame of an aesthetics of disaster. It is argued that, an aesthetics of disaster aims to re-assert an artistic form that is able to accelerate the discursive nullification of a deeply rooted colonial, social and cultural problem by way of art as catharsis inspired by the way that Hurricane María unveiled these problems. The piece briefly contextualizes Puerto Rico, and it examines the idea of Puerto Rican contemporary art as catharsis. Then, it describes how Puerto Rican contemporary art exhibitions and associated aesthetic production are processing urgent post-hurricane issues through three illustrative pieces in exhibitions in PR and abroad in the United States (US). Lastly, decolonial aesthetics is reexamined and re-understood, informed by Édouard Glissant's view expressed in Poetics of Relation which aids to the conclusion that Puerto Rican contemporary art using the frame of an aesthetics of disaster functions as a powerful form of decolonial aesthetics.     

Ambivalent memories of imperial legacies: Asmara as ‘beautiful' and ‘segregationist' from Ethiopia

ABSTRACT

This paper discusses how the capital town of Eritrea, Asmara, is depicted alternately as Italian, Eritrean and Ethiopian thus showing the competing claims of ‘ownership’ that traverses its colonial and postcolonial histories and a multifaceted identity. It focuses specifically on how the Italian architecture of Asmara is depicted both as a sign of modernization and oppression. Literary and oral- sources are analysed to illustrate Asmara as a site of cultural encounter and a historical palimpsest such as the poems Asmara (1958, included in the collection Esat Wey Abeba) by Tsegaye Gebremedihin, and And Nebis (1992, included in the collection Efta 60 Tirekawoch) by Haile Melekot Mewael. The novels Oromay (1984) by Bealu Girma, Ye Burqa Zimita (1992) by Tesfaye Gebreab. These contemporary literary and oral reminiscences of Asmara show how Asmara’s architectural legacies are remembered to express memories of ambivalence between beauty and inhibition; being modern and segregated. Whereby, Asmara gets represented as a model town for other African cities, and a city of colonial decay and segregation, in these contradictory accounts of memories of Asmara, a de-colonial method of engagement seems to emerge.

清末,伴随报业的兴起,报载小说风起云涌。受报刊这种新媒介的制约与影响,小说叙事发生了一系列的新变。这种新变主要表现为,报载小说在不同程度上带有报纸的新闻特性,诸如小说叙事的时效性与纪实性、政论倾向、新异趣尚、地域意识等,因而与古代小说相比,报载小说呈现了一种崭新的时代艺术风貌。

英国作家爱德华·摩根·福斯特的小说表现各类不同阶层、不同民族、不同宗教信仰甚至不同性别之间人与人的关系,作者在解决人与人之间的矛盾以及实现人与人之间、人与自然之间、人的物质生活和精神生活和谐问题的途径时表现出了人文主义爱与和谐相融的思想意识,这种和谐思想意识对世界各民族希望建立一个和平共处、相互尊重、和谐兼容的世界家园的美好理想具有一定的启示.     

Contemporary myth and its aesthetic consciousness

现代社会的实用理性和科技发展共同终结了古典神话,将之送入精神文化的历史博物馆。然而,神话思维和神话意识则共时性地隐匿于人们的心理结构之中,对文明和文化依然施加了重要影响。在现代和后现代的历史文化语境中,神话以变形的方式潜藏于人类的精神文化活动里,演变为一种当代意义的神话形式,继续发挥着强大的心理功能和扮演着意识活动与形态助产士的角色。当代神话的典型表现是科技神话、消费神话、英雄神话等样式。它承袭了传统神话的符号和结构形式而又有所发展和变异,尤其是借助于科技手段,它获得了更广泛、更丰富的社会内容和迅捷密集的传播方式,对于社会的方方面面都产生了广泛而深刻的影响。     

浅析古代文学作品的多元文化形态——以汉魏六朝小说为例

古代文学史上的很多作品都具有多元文化形态的特征.汉魏六朝小说体现了地理博物学、史学和宗教的多元文化特点,又具有文学想象、叙事、写人等小说文体元素.这种多元文化形态的存在在各个方面制约了作品的文学性,其情节、形式乃至艺术手法往往成为某种文化形式或著述动机的附着因素.文学史写作应格外注意这一特征.
