从“七七事变”到淞沪抗战时期的日本对华政策,一言以蔽之,就是日本发动全面侵华战争的政策。“七七事变”爆发后,日本军政当局立即以“卢沟桥事件”为契机,制造种种事端,激化中日矛盾,以此为借口,将“卢沟桥事件”扩大为“华北事变”,再扩大为“中国事变”,将战火从中国平津地区扩大到华北地区,再扩大到上海及华中地区,终于将“卢沟桥事件”这一中日局部冲突,扩大为全面侵华战争。     

表面氢化降低SiC/金属接触间界面态密度的机理

研究了SiC表面氢化降低界面态密度的机理。采用缓慢氧化、稀释的HF刻蚀、沸水浸泡的表面氢化处理方法,降低SiC表面态密度。该方法用于SiC器件的表面处理,在100℃以下制备了理想因子为1.20～1.25的6H-SiC肖特基二极管,其欧姆接触比接触电阻为(5～7)×10?3?·cm2。表面氢化处理的优点在于避免了欧姆接触所需的800～1200℃的高温合金,降低了工艺难度,改善了肖特基结的电学特性。     

高温超导薄膜微波表面特性的研究

研究和设计了“终端反射式带状线谐振器”测试系统,配合测量数据处理软件包,对高温超导薄膜的微波表面特性进行了测试分析。     

多重空间的构建——论空间视域下《地下铁道》的叙事艺术

《地下铁道》讲述了一位女性黑奴追寻自由的曲折历程。它根植于美国当时的历史现实,揭示了奴隶制的黑暗和残暴,再现了美国黑人奴隶在肉体和精神上的遭遇以及他们对自由的追求与向往。小说结构严谨,语言简洁考究,行文俭省朴素,但它的成功也绝对离不开作者对空间独具匠心的设置。作者巧妙地利用物理空间、社会空间与空间形式构建了一个多重叙事空间,由此揭示《地下铁道》中被边缘化的物理空间及其背后的社会意义,呈现矛盾社会空间下的压迫与反抗以及特定历史条件下的异化空间,创建独有的空间形式。     

Microbiota and Dose Response: Evolving Paradigm of Health Triangle

SRA Dose‐Response and Microbial Risk Analysis Specialty Groups jointly sponsored symposia that addressed the intersections between the “microbiome revolution” and dose response. Invited speakers presented on innovations and advances in gut and nasal microbiota (normal microbial communities) in the first decade after the Human Microbiome Project began. The microbiota and their metabolites are now known to influence health and disease directly and indirectly, through modulation of innate and adaptive immune systems and barrier function. Disruption of healthy microbiota is often associated with changes in abundance and diversity of core microbial species (dysbiosis), caused by stressors including antibiotics, chemotherapy, and disease. Nucleic‐acid‐based metagenomic methods demonstrated that the dysbiotic host microbiota no longer provide normal colonization resistance to pathogens, a critical component of innate immunity of the superorganism. Diverse pathogens, probiotics, and prebiotics were considered in human and animal models (in vivo and in vitro ). Discussion included approaches for design of future microbial dose–response studies to account for the presence of the indigenous microbiota that provide normal colonization resistance , and the absence of the protective microbiota in dysbiosis. As NextGen risk analysis methodology advances with the “microbiome revolution,” a proposed new framework, the Health Triangle, may replace the old paradigm based on the Disease Triangle (focused on host, pathogen, and environment) and germophobia. Collaborative experimental designs are needed for testing hypotheses about causality in dose–response relationships for pathogens present in our environments that clearly compete in complex ecosystems with thousands of bacterial species dominating the healthy superorganism.     

“And Now I’m Just Different,but There’s Nothing Actually Wrong With Me”: Asexual Marginalization and Resistance

This article explores the relationship between contemporary asexual lives and compulsory sexuality, or the privileging of sexuality and the marginalizing of nonsexuality. Drawing on 30 in-depth interviews, I identify four ways the asexually identified individuals in this study saw themselves as affected by compulsory sexuality: pathologization, isolation, unwanted sex and relationship conflict, and the denial of epistemic authority. I also identify five ways these asexually identified individuals disrupted compulsory sexuality: adopting a language of difference and a capacity to describe asexuality; deemphasizing the importance of sexuality in human life; developing new types of nonsexual relationships; constituting asexuality as a sexual orientation or identity; and engaging in community building and outreach. I argue that some of these practices offer only a limited disruption of compulsory sexuality, but some of these practices pose a radical challenge to sexual norms by calling into question the widespread assumption that sexuality is a necessary part of human flourishing.     

Political science: Moral dialogues and our understanding of American politics

This commentary focuses on the connection between Etzioni’s moral dialogues conception and the concepts of social capital, civil society and the ultimate outcome to be anticipated from the election of Donald Trump in 2016. The optimist view that a progressive social movement is in the making is called somewhat into question given the well documented decline in the very institutions and trust-based norms essential for the moral dialogues in question to transpire.     

Catching a glimpse: Corona‐life and its micro‐politics in academia

The spread of COVID‐19 acutely challenges and affects not just economic markets, demographic statistics and healthcare systems, but indeed also the politics of organizing and becoming in a new everyday life of academia emerging in our homes. Through a collage of stories, snapshots, vignettes, photos and other reflections of everyday life, this collective contribution is catching a glimpse of corona‐life and its micro‐politics of multiple, often contradicting claims on practices as many of us live, work and care at home. It embodies concerns, dreams, anger, hope, numbness, passion and much more emerging amongst academics from across the world in response to the crisis. As such, this piece manifests a shared need to — together, apart — enact and explore constitutive relations of resistance, care and solidarity in these dis/organizing times of contested spaces, identities and agencies as we are living–working–caring at home during lockdowns.
