What It Feels Like for a Whore: The Body Politics of Women Performing Erotic Labour in Hong Kong

This article seeks to investigate the complexity of the working experiences of female prostitutes in Hong Kong, using an oral history approach. Based on 13 in‐depth interviews, I depict my respondents as performing the skilled emotional labour of sex in exchange for their clients’ money. Looking at the ways in which the women manage the job, the self and the business, I argue that their major problem is not with the commercial transaction (that is, the content of the work itself), nor with the ‘conflict’ between their personal and work selves, but with the social stigma, surveillance and dangers at their workplaces. Inspired by a post‐structuralist conception of power and identity formation, I propose a women‐centred lived‐experience feminist approach in the hope of filling the gap between the bipolar imageries of ‘sexual slavery’ or ‘sex radical’ that have been thrown up in the feminist debate over the meaning of prostitution. This approach emphasizes the inter‐relationships among women’s lived experiences, the micro‐sites of social surveillance and the macro‐condition of wider society. Although Hong Kong female prostitutes are not ‘political’ in fighting for their rights and benefits, they have tended to take the path of micro‐resistance in combating societal domination. They negotiate an identity of the ‘prostitute’ that is sensitive and flexible to different institutional areas that seems to jeopardize the neat binaries of madonna/whore, good girl/bad girl, victim/warrior, conformist/radical. This allows them to create their own space to work and survive.     

H形鳍片管束传热与阻力特性实验研究

为实现H形鳍片管束的性能与结构的优化设计，在对H形鳍片管束的传热机理进行分析的基础上，对优化结构的H形鳍片管束的传热与阻力特性进行了模化实验研究，并将实验结果与有关方法的计算结果进行了比较，为H形鳍片管束的设计提供了可靠的依据．     

血压与胰岛素水平关系的相关性研究

目的评价高血压及正常血压人群胰岛素水平的变化及血压各参数与胰岛素水平的相关性。方法入选原发性高血压患者156例,正常血压者138 例,收集如下资料:血压(收缩压、舒张压、脉压)、腹围、体重指数、空腹血糖、空腹胰岛素、餐后两小时胰岛素,血脂(甘油三脂、总胆固醇、高密度脂蛋白胆固醇、低密度脂蛋白胆固醇),观察两组胰岛素水平及其相关危险因素的变化,并进行血压各参数与胰岛素水平相关性分析。结果高血压组较正常血压组胰岛素水平显著增高(P<0．05),收缩压和脉压与胰岛素水平显著正相关(r分别为0．365, 0．204,P分别<0．01、0．05)。结论高血压患者胰岛素水平升高,提示胰岛素抵抗在高血压的发病、进展中可能发挥重要作用。     

权变式反向运动：社会转型期农民环境抗争的社会学阐释— — —Ｑ 村个案研究

分析社会转型期草根农民的环境抗争动因,讨论草根群体、环保 ＮＧＯ、媒体、中央政府等应对污染所兴起的环境保护“反向运动”,探讨了中国农民环境抗争的本土经验。 研究发现,社会转型期的社会结构、经济体制、价值观念的变迁以及企业的理性困惑所造成的“政经一体化”引发了农民的环境抗争;农民环境抗争的胜利与“反向运动”主体间的互动密切相关;与西方大规模环境运动不同,城郊村落农民环境抗争在依法抗争、理性维权、依势抗争等抗争类型间根据情境切换,呈现出权变的特点。     

磷元素对Ni-W-P镀层硬度和磨损性的影响

为研究磷的质量分数大小对Ni-W-P镀层的硬度和磨损性的影响,采用化学沉积的方法制备Ni-W-P合金镀层。 通过扫描电镜( SEM)、能谱仪(EDS)及X射线衍射法(XRD),分析研究了Ni-W-P镀层的微观组织结构、成分和形貌特 点。对Ni-W-P镀层进行硬度测试及干摩擦磨损实验,分析研究镀层热处理前后的显微硬度及磨损性能。研究结果表明 磷元素质量分数的大小对硬度影响至关重要,其磨损的主要形式是粘着磨损。     

政治文化与城乡居民的体制外抗争

对五省份2505名成年居民的实证研究结果显示,政治文化对城乡居民的体制外抗争具有显著的影响,其中,民主主义政治价值观与城乡居民的体制外抗争意向和行为显著正相关,权威主义政治价值观则对城乡居民的体制外抗争意向和行为施加着显著的负向影响。城乡居民共享一种“权威主义化的民主主义”政治文化,此乃当前中国社会的基本政治文化现实。此种政治文化既为国家在保持较高权威的前提下更进一步推进一种实质性的社会主义民主提供了强大的心理文化支撑,也对国家如何在保持较高权威的前提下提出了治理能力上的新的挑战。     

“和解”难题与郑小驴的小说

郑小驴小说中充分地书写了“和解”难题,总体表达了主体性与世界的分裂,其主要表现为：人际之间的心灵难以沟通,作为农村人共同的价值支柱——鬼魅崇信正在瓦解,个体在“无名”场域中的抗争之无效。其基于作者的生命体验,与文学史的血脉相连,具有思想史的深度,并由此显示出作者良好的诗学意向和创作前景。     

Querying meanings of adolescent peer resistance: a school choice decision revisited

For more than three decades, adolescent research within psychology has addressed developmental questions regarding resistance to peer influences from a psychosocial perspective, emphasizing autonomy development. Inferences about development have been drawn from age-related differences on peer resistance/conformity questionnaires. In this paper, we illustrate an alternative sociocultural/dialogical person-in-context approach to the study of peer resistances and development. This approach directs attention to the meanings of resistant acts as arising from adolescents' transactions with immediate and larger sociocultural contexts, and to the evaluation of development as qualitative system transformation. Our study concerns voiced resistance by eighth-grade girls to peer labeling of their sexual orientation because of the girls' choice (3 years earlier) to attend an all-girl college-preparatory middle school. Resistances expressed in interviews are evaluated within the context of current and prior I-other positionings surrounding the school choice, and we highlight the importance of considering (1) multiple rather than singular peer relations in adolescents' lives associated with connecting as well as resisting positionings; (2) meanings of ‘what’ is being resisted; (3) distinctions in how resistances are expressed; (4) emergent abstractions supporting the resistances; and (5) developmental change as a systems phenomenon.     

市场化进程中我国农村经济发展困境研究

对我国农村经济发展困境的认识,必须紧密结合我国市场化改革的整个进程,具体分析我国农村经济中的获利机会状况。农村经济的发展,不是单纯的经济问题,而与社会政治、文化有着深刻的联系,农村经济所拥有的不均等发展机会及与市场经济发展要求不协调的社会文化已成为其发展的巨大阻力。     

农民风险的现实表现及其防范对策研究

党的十七大进一步加强农业基础地位，加强农村基础设施建设，加大支农惠农政策力度，必将为新农村建设的深入推进开辟一片新天地。不过，由于农业、农村和农民与自然的天然联系以及工业化过程中所带来环境污染与恶化，自然风险不断增强，再加上国家长期以来对“三农”方面投入的不足和农民自身的缺陷等问题，农民的抗风险能力非常薄弱。当前开展农民风险问题及对策研究，对解决“三农”问题、推进社会主义新农村和全面小康社会建设具有重要的理论和现实意义。
