在海明威的作品中,大都有着海明威生活的深深印记。《流动的盛宴》记录了海明威在巴黎度过的青春年华,记录了他人生的多个开端,记录了他的奋发进取,记录了他的落魄与成功,其中充溢着海明威的巴黎情怀。《太阳照常升起》属于半自传体小说,作品的主题带有巴黎生活底色,主人公的原型是作者在巴黎“认识的人”,情节与作者的个人经历具有互文性,场景是作者生活过的巴黎场景。海明威的这两部作品或显或隐地反映了他与巴黎结下的情缘。研究海明威的作品,最好结合海明威的生活经历展开研究。  相似文献

The following article presents data from a mixed-methods practitioner research study that focuses on understanding how Jewish secondary students learned about controversial topics in Israel's history and how these topics impacted their connection to the country. The responses that were provided by the students showed that the material forced students to conceptualize Israel in new ways and that the material— learning from Palestinian and Israeli texts about events that happened in 1947 and 1948—was disruptive to their preconceived notions of Israel. With the passing of time, the students were able to reflect on the real difficulty they had with learning about the topics but were able to synthesize the disruption into their Israel narrative to arrive at a new understanding. The integration of this new material into existing schema is understood within the context of dangerous memories, and how learning about controversial moments in nationalist narratives can impact the way students learn and relate to a topic. A further finding was that some students expressed resentment at previous educational experiences for not being fully transparent about historical events.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Data for the present research was derived from a pilot study on elder abuse by family members. The pilot study, conducted between 1996–98, is the first of its kind in Israel. From a population of 270 elders, who were identified by welfare and health professionals as victims of abuse by family members, 12 persons who had remarried after the death of a spouse were selected as subjects for an in-depth qualitative study. The research aimed at examining the reasons for abuse through the reports of the victims, comparing their experience to second marriages where spouse abuse was not detected. The findings showed that the decision to establish joint residence, financial arrangements (money management, wills and bequests), issues of power and control, and memories of the deceased spouse are the primary factors for abuse in these second marriages. These factors create situations of tension and conflict between married partners that lead to neglect in care giving, emotional and mental abuse, verbal and physical violence, and financial exploitation.  相似文献

本文以田野调查资料为基础,探讨了广西十万山华侨林场瑶族归侨的社会记忆与认同建构。本文认为,社会记忆以史实为依据。这些史实包含了一系列曾经为社会所认可的价值观。此外,社会记忆的更新过程同时也是群体试图使传统的价值观适应社会变化的过程。对过去的社会记忆可以使个人或社会群体通过对过去的回忆满足其在现实中的认同和相互之间的需要。  相似文献

Abstract

This article reflects on the meanings of home and domestic space among a group of women, who over the past five decades or so have sought to create alternative public and intimate living spaces. The protagonists who enact the ethnographic narrative are a small group of older lesbians, mainly feminist activists, residing in the metropolis of London. In this article, their life experiences are recounted through memories of domestic space, mainly that of the kitchen. I explore the way the domestic kitchen is experienced, spoken about, and imagined by this specific group of women. In this ethnography, the kitchen emerges as a contested, transformative, and political domestic space. Throughout, I illustrate how this seemingly private space is in fact entangled with larger notions of culture, society, kinship, and politics; and, like the everyday, is fraught with norms, codes and pluralities, and also with emotions, deviations, contestation, and transgression.  相似文献
