西南边境民族地区高校大学生思想道德教育研究——基于云南省的实证分析

当前云南边境民族地区高校大学生思想道德素质总体态势良好。但由于社会转型、境外意识形态强势渗透、高校思想政治教育针对性和实效性不强以及大学生自律理性偏弱等,导致了部分学生理想信念缺失、功利性特征明显、道德认知与道德实践明显脱节等问题的出现。坚持用社会主义核心价值体系引领当代大学生、不断完善高校思想政治理论课的教育内容、加大高校德育的实践力度、培养一支立场坚定、愿意扎根边疆的教师队伍以及强化公民教育,塑造责任公民,是现实的客观要求和有效的解决途径。     

浅谈在高校思想政治教育中构建和谐德育

在高校思想政治教育中构建和谐德育,具有促进学生健康成长、增强思想政治教育实效性等重要意义。高校和谐德育构建过程中存在教育者与被教育者不够和谐、德育方式与作用对象不够和谐、德育内容与社会要求不够和谐、德育力量之间不够和谐等问题。构建高校和谐德育应树立＂以学生为本＂的德育理念,丰富德育的方式方法和手段,增强德育内容的时代性和现实感,创设良好的和谐德育环境。     

Desperately seeking social approval: Adam Smith, Thorstein Veblen and the moral limits of capitalist culture

Adam Smith and Thorstein Veblen shared much in matters of economic ontology. Both dismissed the very notion of an autonomous economic self and instead investigated the processes through which self and other are mutually constituted under changing cultural traditions of individual aspiration. Their strikingly similar critiques of status-oriented consumption and concern for the moral basis of the market economy are established in this manner. However, the political implications of their analyses point in different directions, with Veblen being the more radical. The Smithian individual can always use spectatorial insights to assert through genuinely praiseworthy behaviour personal moral distance from social norms of status-oriented consumption. The Veblenian individual, by contrast, has no such capacity for elevating abstract moral principles above socially-situated conduct, as mind and environment co-evolve in line with changing material circumstances of life. For Veblen, the rise of status-oriented consumption itself acted as a form of moral self-education that more deeply entrenched the social norms of ownership out of which it arose, thus the impossibility of an autonomous economic self was matched by the impossibility of an autonomous moral self. To his way of thinking, moral degradation in conspicuous consumption was irredeemably inscribed into the whole cultural structure of capitalism.

文章从维多利亚时期以男性为主体的社会现实为切入点,分析了处于社会底层的女教师受到的来自男权社会及其代表者布莱庄园男主人的控制与压迫,以及她对于这种控制的反抗,并借助符号矩阵来进一步展示存在于控制与反抗的道德困境中的权力关系。     

Commentary on 'Managing the process of change in residential child care: A consultancy approach'

This paper draws on a ten month British study completed in April 2001 investigating service responses to women of South Asian background who had attempted suicide or who self-harmed. The scope of the study is briefly outlined and an analysis of perspectives documented in the study is presented, drawing on research interviews with 18 staff from a variety of health and social care disciplines and with seven survivors of attempted suicide/self-harm. The implications of this analysis for improving practice are considered. Attitudes surrounding attempted suicide and self-harm are discussed. The issue of ‘race anxiety’ is also discussed. The factors seen by workers as contributing to South Asian women's attempted suicide are considered, with a particular focus on the difficulties caused in the delivery of services by common-sense accounts of cultural issues. Current approaches to the delivery of services to South Asian women are identified and analysed, showing how their current organisation can lead to circularity in referral systems and consequent non-intentional neglect of the needs of this client group. It is urged that proper consideration be given to the support and professional supervision of staff in this complex area of work.     

How moral disengagement facilitates the detention of refugee children and families

Refugee children and families are a vulnerable demographic with the propensity to disrupt entrenched disparaging perceptions about immigrants. This project investigates how institutionalised moral disengagement practices [Bandura, Albert. 2002. “Selective Moral Disengagement in the Exercise of Moral Agency.” Journal of Moral Education 31: 101–119] at family detention centres facilitate the apprehension and confinement of children and families seeking asylum. Interviews with former volunteers and an analysis of news reports describing conditions at these centres reveal that moral disengagement plays a pivotal role in rationalising detention, while also enabling restrictive immigration policies and mass deportations. This occurs through the criminalisation of immigrants, suppressing details about residential conditions, and a quota capacity model. Findings are contextualised with regard to recent immigration legislations.

主体在“忧患意识”中觉悟

牟宗三建构的道德形上学是以儒家传统的主体性为理论支点,而这种道德主主体性真正奠基于主体在“忧患意识”中的觉悟,忧患意识是在对人的忧患负责中形成的,主体的觉悟意味着责任意识的产生。从原始的本能到主体的觉悟,以“心性”范畴为核心的道德哲学成了中学文化的主流,这也是现代新儒家以“道统”自居的理论依据。

目前刑法将贪污贿赂罪局限在收受财物的范围内,易导致“性贿赂”这种具有严重社会危害性的行为逃脱刑罚的制裁。从法理学的视角,从“性贿赂”入罪的应然性、道德合理性、立法渊源的层面,来论证将“性贿赂”纳入刑法调整范围的合理性和必要性。
