优化国际语言服务环境背景下关于大学英语写作教学的若干反思

国际语言服务的水平直接体现了一个城市乃至国家的国际化程度,关系到一个城市或国家的国际形象和国际竞争力。随着中国与国际社会的交流日深,对既有自己的专业又具备一定的英语综合运用能力的复合型人才的需求也随之增加。他们不但要有一定的英语口头表达能力,书面表达能力也面临着新的挑战和要求。但我国高校的大学英语课普遍对写作环节重视不足,导致学生的写作基础薄弱。文章分析了大学英语写作过程中存在的普遍性问题并提出了相应的对策。     

Cyborg Writing as a Political Act: Reading Donna Haraway in Organization Studies

Extending the works of scholars who have elucidated writing as the quintessential site for social transformation, the aim of this article is to locate the myriad possibilities for actualizing Donna Haraway's concept of cyborg writing in the field of organization studies. I contend that cyborg writing functions as a discursive mechanism by which to disrupt Enlightenment ideals of Cartesian duality, objectivity and rationality. These ideals inform the very structure of masculine privilege that emerge from having a society that is organized along androcentric values. Situating the scholarship of Jo Brewis, a contemporary scholar in the field, I illuminate how cyborg writing can be practised effectively, whereby greater richness is imparted into conceptualizations of, and theorizing on, organizational and management phenomena. I conclude with a discussion of the implications of cyborg writing, and with the identification of two trajectories that scholars can pursue in future studies. Progress along these two paths will move towards actualizing the feminist project for gender egalitarianism.     

现代学者旧体诗词创作与其学术之关系

在现代学术史上有一个特殊的现象,一大批有影响的现代中国学者,除了从事本专业的学术研究之外,还写有数量不等的旧体诗词。这些旧体诗词的最大特点在于“以现代学术入传统诗词”,从而使得他们的学术研究与旧体诗词创作发生了前所未有的密切联系。现代学者的学术与其旧体诗词的相互关系,大体可分为三种类型:一是“先有诗,后有学”模式,即在旧体诗中先有了某个“心理意象”,然后才逐渐展开为某个重要的学术方向;二是“先有学,后有诗”模式,即先有了某种知识结构与学理基础,才发而为充满现代学术与思想的诗篇;三是在“学”与“诗”之间“如盐入水”、融合无间,这代表着现代学者旧体诗词的最高境界。由于学术与诗的密切联系,还有“学术变,诗也变”的现象。现代学者的旧体诗词不同于一般的遗老遗少之作,在现代中国思想学术文化史研究中具有重要的价值。     

创新文化与写作的变革

文化是社会现实存在的反映。创新文化,是与时俱进的、反映社会现实存在的、满足社会需求的文化。写作是生产文化产品的行为过程,其变革,是向着创新文化的发展方向而同步运行的变革。写作变革运行的轨迹,应随着社会需求而转动;运行围绕的圆心,是创新文化。     

英语写作策略分类探讨

英语写作策略分类研究是一个基础研究课题,对英语写作研究及写作教学实践具有实际价值和现实意义。本文分析了目前研究中的英语写作策略分类存在的问题,并回顾了英语写作及策略的相关理论,提出了英语写作及写作策略的学习和产出性质,最后文章提出了一个便于取舍同时也便于实证研究展开与操作的英语写作策略分类框架。

在海明威的短篇小说中,《弗朗西斯·麦康伯短暂的幸福生活》的叙述艺术别具一格,具有极大的艺术魅力。就其叙述方式说,横断面写法、围绕主题选择时间切点、张弛有致的节奏、悬念丛生的结局,显示了海明威构思的精巧。就其描写方式说,神态描写、语言描写,特别是肖像描写、心理描写,显示了海明威描写的传神。这些精巧的构思与传神的描写构成了小说的结构艺术特色。     

论《一天的等待》中的主题和表现手法

本文对海明威的短篇小说《一天的等待》写作风格、语言特色和作品主题进行了分析,阐明了海明威在该短篇小说中如何运用人物话语、对照、象征等表现手法揭示作品的主题。     

名词化结构在商务英语信函中的应用和翻译

着重分析了在商务英语信函中出现的名词化结构,指出名词化是商务英语信函的主要文体特点之一,在商务英语信函的表达中起着重要的作用,并讨论了其翻译方法。     

20世纪中国文学中的湘西书写

在20世纪的中国文学中,湘西是一个被众多作家一再书写到的地域性乡土。湘西书写,是指以湘西为表现背景,展示20世纪中国人在湘西乡土中的生活习俗、情感方式、价值判断和生存形态,以及书写者本身在这种书写过程中所体现出对湘西的认识、期待、回忆和想象。湘西书写可分为“诗意化”与“审美化”的湘西书写、“写实”与“批判”的湘西书写、“左翼”与“革命”的湘西书写、“传奇”的湘西书写四种形态。这是由不同类型的知识分子从诸如反现代与反都市、追求现代化、追求左翼与革命、追求形而上的终极与民间狂欢的立场和角度将自己对湘西的记忆、想象、感受和期盼文学化的结晶。     

Writing resistance together

This piece of writing is a joint initiative by the participants in the Gender, Work and Organization writing workshop organized in Helsinki, Finland, in June 2019. This is a particular form of writing differently. We engage in collective writing and embody what it means to write resistance to established academic practices and conventions together. This is a form of emancipatory initiative where we care for each other as writers and as human beings. There are many author voices and we aim to keep the text open and dialogical. As such, this piece of writing is about suppressed thoughts and feelings that our collective picket line allows us to express. In order to maintain the open‐ended nature of the text, and perhaps also to retain some ‘dirtiness’ that is essential to writing, the article has not been language checked throughout by a native speaker of English.
