高等学校基础研究工作面临的问题及对策

基础研究是高等学校科技工作的重要组成部分。如何增强高等学校自身的创新和竞争能力 ,使其在我国基础研究工作中有所作为 ,一直是科技管理工作者所研究的问题。本文以翔实的数据论述了高等学校在我国基础研究工作中的重要地位 ;通过与一些发达国家的分析对比 ,找出当前我国高等学校基础研究工作所面临的问题 ,并阐述了对策     

高校学术研究的动力机制研究

高校学术研究 (含自然科学研究 )及其成果的开发应用水平之高低是一所高校生存价值大小的最为显著的标志。但决定这一水平高低的关键在于高校学术研究动力的稳恒性。本文从高校学术研究的动力类型、特点、作用及其相互关系出发 ,对构建高校学术研究的动力机制进行了初步的探讨。     

Children's Agency: ‘Getting By,Getting Back,Getting Out and Getting Organised’ Under Welfare‐to‐Work in Australia

One in four children in lone‐parent households in Australia lives in poverty. Welfare‐to‐work policies designed to 'activate' lone‐parents into the labour market is one approach that successive governments have employed to address this issue. This article argues that activation policies that target parents risk overlooking the implications for the children in these families. It concludes that more understanding about how poor children employ agency within the constraints and conditions of their lives could inform policy that better supports their well‐being, values their contributions, and is more sensitive to the diverse and changing needs of families. It draws on child‐centred participatory research with twenty‐six children in Australia that found they were active agents across a range of areas that included strategies for getting by, aspiration for the future, and acts of resistance.     

高校传统武术国际化课程教学的实践探索

高校传统武术的国际化发展对高校走向世界、承接国外交流等有着重要的意义。我国高校目前面临着武术边缘化发展特点,很少将中国武术作为国术精髓带出国界,带上国际交流平台。针对当前实际,从武术国际化课程教学实践出发,对武术国际化课程的教学内容以及教学环境等方面进行了探索与研究。     

国际金融中心形成过程中政府作用的演化经济学分析

本文运用演化经济学原理,对政府在国际金融中心形成机制中发挥的作用进行了分析,指出政府在创立启动机制、强化良性循环、退出低效闭锁等方面对国际金融中心的形成具有非常重要的作用,通过对新加坡国际金融中心形成过程的案例分析,对如何建设上海国际金融中心提出了政策建议。     

关于地方高校高教研究机构发展机制的思考

长期以来,对地方高校高教研究机构的功能定位、发展方向等始终存在着不同的看法,以至于影响到了它的发展。面对高等教育跨越式发展的新形势,有必要就此问题进行重新讨论并认知,以便使其通过发挥咨询参谋作用,服务科学决策;提供信息服务,引领教育理念更新;借鉴美国经验,进行院校研究;发挥管理职能,成为大学管理文化研究中心等,在服务学校发展的过程中促进自身的科学发展。

Evaluation of scientific merit in col laboratories: A new look at an old question

What role can information science play in promoting public understanding of science and technology? In order to answer this question, it is important to understand the new perspective which is emerging for research in the information science field. Internet, and the information superhighways announced both in Europe and the United States, are increasingly focusing attention on computer‐mediated communication within research communities. “Collaboratories”; is the name given to work aimed at using computer‐based technologies to help promote the social processes of knowledge production. One goal of information science lies in efforts to measure the contribution of technical devices to knowledge production practices. This is called infometrics research; it requires a clear understanding of how the social system of science regulates information flows to promote these practices.     

Human resource development in small organizations

This article draws upon case-study research into human resource development (HRD) within three small organizations in the north west of England. It positions the case-study work within an overall framework of doctoral research and summarizes the research design; discusses the characteristics and values of small organizations and how they influence HRD policies and practices: presents findings and conclusions about HRD in the case-study organizations, focusing in particular upon one case in the voluntary sector; compares and contrasts the different models of HRD in the three cases; and concludes with some suggestions for further research.     

Experiences of Custody Evaluation: Perspectives of Young Adults Who Were the Subject of Family Court Proceedings as Children

ABSTRACT

Court-ordered custody evaluations are conducted primarily to assist courts in making decisions regarding the best interests of children in the context of parental disputes over custody and access. They also represent the most common means through which children's wishes in relation to custody and access are presented as evidence. This article reports on a qualitative research study of young adults' recollections of participating in custody evaluations ordered by the Family Court of Australia. In-depth interviews were conducted with 18 young adults, aged 18 to 26. Two major areas of inquiry are addressed in this article: (1) participants' recollections of interviews conducted by social workers and psychologists for the purpose of custody evaluation, and (2) their suggestions for ways in which professionals working with children in this context might make the process easier for children. Taken together, their experiences point to some useful principles for practice in this field.
