加强实践平台建设培养创新能力素质

从大学生创新创业能力素质培养过程中存在的主要问题,探讨了实践教学平台建设的重要性,并从教育理念更新、实践平台定位、培养计划制定、各种关系协调等方面提出了相应的培养策略,全面推进大学生创新创业能力素质培养,进而提升高校人才培养质量。     

Likelihood inference for the component lifetime distribution based on progressively censored parallel systems data

Point and interval estimators for the scale parameter of the component lifetime distribution of a k-component parallel system are obtained when the component lifetimes are assumed to be independently and identically exponentially distributed. We prove that the maximum likelihood estimator of the scale parameter based on progressively Type-II censored system lifetimes is unique and can be obtained by a fixed-point iteration procedure. In particular, we illustrate that the Newton–Raphson method does not converge for any initial value. Furthermore, exact confidence intervals are constructed by a transformation using normalized spacings and other component lifetime distributions including Weibull distribution are discussed.     

When ERM Met Alma: The Intricacies of Content Management in a Shared Consortia Landscape

ABSTRACT

In 2013, after nearly two decades of operating in a distributed legacy Integrated Library System (ILS) environment on local servers, the Orbis Cascade Alliance, a consortium of public and private academic libraries in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho, began a two-year-long process to migrate its 37 members to a shared implementation of Ex Libris's cloud-based Alma library management system (LMS) and Primo discovery interface. Although much has been written on electronic resource management (ERM) functionality at an institution level, little has been written on serials and ERM functionality and workflows within a shared consortial environment. This article discusses the challenges and opportunities of implementing a consortial-based LMS, with particular emphasis on serials and ERM functionality. Key migration issues related to serials control, acquisitions, licensing, administration, cataloging, statistics, and interoperability are examined at the institutional and large-scale networked levels. Benefits and limitations of using a shared consortial cloud-based LMS are explored, and the overall capabilities of the Alma LMS for electronic resource management are reviewed.     

Vine copula constructions of higher-dimensional dependent reliability systems

Copulas have proved to be very successful tools for the flexible modeling of dependence. Bivariate copulas have been deeply researched in recent years, while building higher-dimensional copulas is still recognized to be a difficult task. In this paper, we study the higher-dimensional dependent reliability systems using a type of decomposition called “vine,” by which a multivariate distribution can be decomposed into a cascade of bivariate copulas. Some equations of system reliability for parallel, series, and k-out-of-n systems are obtained and then decomposed based on C-vine and D-vine copulas. Finally, a shutdown system is considered to illustrate the results obtained in the paper.     

On extreme order statistics from heterogeneous beta distributions with applications

This paper treats the problem of stochastic comparisons for the extreme order statistics arising from heterogeneous beta distributions. Some sufficient conditions involved in majorization-type partial orders are provided for comparing the extreme order statistics in the sense of various magnitude orderings including the likelihood ratio order, the reversed hazard rate order, the usual stochastic order, and the usual multivariate stochastic order. The results established here strengthen and extend those including Kochar and Xu (2007 Kochar, S.C., Xu, M. (2007). The Association Between the New Rural Cooperative Medical System and Health Care Seeking Behavior Among Middle-Aged and Older Chinese

The new rural cooperative medical system (NCMS) is the primary form of social insurance in rural China. This study aims to explore how the NCMS influences the health care seeking behaviors of middle-aged and older Chinese, considering the family and community contexts. A series of multi-level (three-level) models using data from the first wave of the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS) are used. We find that the presence of NCMS coverage has a statistically significant association with seeking inpatient and outpatient care but not physical checkups among middle-aged and older rural Chinese: Rural residents insured by NCMS were more likely to seek inpatient and outpatient care than people who were not insured. Other factors at the individual level (such as self-perceived health and number of doctor-diagnosed chronic diseases), the family level (such as living arrangements and household expenditures), and the community level (such as the presence of township hospitals within the community) are also significant predictors of health care seeking behaviors.     

Career Engagement: Investigating Intraindividual Predictors of Weekly Fluctuations in Proactive Career Behaviors

This study applied a microlevel perspective on how within‐individual differences in motivational and social‐cognitive factors affected the weekly fluctuations of engagement in proactive career behaviors among a group of 67 German university students. Career self‐efficacy beliefs, perceived career barriers, experienced social career support, positive and negative emotions, and career engagement were assessed weekly for 13 consecutive weeks. Hierarchical linear regression analyses showed that above average levels of career engagement within individuals were predicted by higher than average perceived social support and positive emotions during a given week. Conversely, within‐individual differences in self‐efficacy, barriers, and negative emotions had no effect. The results suggest that career interventions should provide boosts in social support and positive emotions.     

生态价值:基于马克思劳动价值论的一个引申分析

检视和比较中西方关于生态价值问题的研究文献,基于马克思劳动价值论,并将其引申扩展到探索生态价值的致思路径是:沿着人类社会生产力发展水平不断提升的线索,从经济系统、生态系统和生态经济系统考察商品总价值、生态总价值和商品价值总量之间的内在关联及其数量变化关系。随着人类社会生产力水平由低到高的提升,商品总价值、生态总价值和商品价值总量三者之间呈现由同向递增变动到无序变动、再到更高层次的同向递增变动的趋势。在中国当前经济社会发展面临严峻生态问题的状况下,重新认识和理解生态价值问题,将有利于改变当前衡量经济社会发展指标过度单一的局面,有利于转变人们对自然生态资源、生态环境的不合理开发和利用的传统发展理念,有利于有效推动自然资源定价和参与市场化治理,并为其提供理论基础,从而使自然生态环境能够被科学、合理、协调、可持续地开发和利用。     

《孟子》思想及其现代价值新论

《孟子》作为传承儒家思想的载体,在变化的社会形势下阐发了仁义礼智信耻等观念,并在社会政治、经济、伦理道德等方面形成了新的理解,由此丰富了儒家思想体系,从而在中华民族思想史上占有重要地位。几千年来,《孟子》思想作为儒家思想的重要组成部分及传统文化的主流话语之一,其所彰显的价值与意义,指导着传统社会的人生建设,对中华民族的绵延发展起到了凝聚和推动作用。重视并汲取《孟子》思想的精华,使之焕发出新的生机与活力,对于现代人类的生存需求以及中华民族共有精神家园的构建必将产生积极的影响。     

儒学价值的当代转换与社会主义核心价值体系建设

社会主义核心价值体系是一个有着丰富内涵且结构复杂的系统。社会主义核心价值体系建设必须建立在民族文化传统的基础上,克服中国元素少、只注重文献诠释而忽视对"活着"的传统的考察等倾向。儒学价值的当代转换及其应用于社会主义核心价值体系的建设,应注重从文本到现实,从具象到抽象,再从抽象到具象的互动,这就要求我们必须认清历史发展和文化传统的脉络,使理论具有前瞻性和预见性。继承和弘扬儒学的道德自觉等精华,要以确立现代法权人格为前提,凝练核心价值观应着力于人格的修养与社会正义的互动,儒学传统中的仁爱、和谐、责任、自强等理念可以与公正、民主、信用等价值进行综合创新。
