大学生英语听力训练模式数据分析及学习策略的思考

本文就大学生听力训练的三种学习模式进行了实验,并结合认知学习论和“母语—英语知识—认知双元结构”的相关理论,对实验的相关数据进行了分析,同时,针对不同的学生提出了不同的学习策略和教学模式。     

Taking a risk and playing it safe: the use of actors in interagency child protection training

Interagency training in child protection is an important part of engaging professionals in a common approach to their collective responsibility for safeguarding children. Training is a key method for empowering professionals to carry out their complex role in child protection with appropriate knowledge, skills and confidence. In Buckinghamshire, experiential learning involving actors has met with some success as part of the interagency child protection training programme. The following paper proposes the argument for using actors, describes how this is done and evaluates its effectiveness for participants, trainers and actors. It is suggested that this method has ample rewards if properly planned, particularly for practitioners in lessons for practice. A close working relationship must be developed between actors and trainers. Scenarios that seem real can be portrayed and skills can then be practised in the knowledge that no one is really being harmed but valuable lessons for real‐life situations can be learned. A central aspect is learning together in a supportive environment away from a blame culture. Copyright © 2005 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.     

浅析体育教学中学习动机的激发

学生体育学习动机是随着体育学习需要本身的变动和学生对体育的认识发展而变动的,体育学习动机一旦形成,可以使学生对所学内容有一定的指向性,即有主动积极的态度、对体育学习的兴趣等,因此,只有培养和激发学生的学习动机,才能调动学生参与体育学习的积极性和主动性。

有意义学习理论与课堂教学改革

奥苏伯尔有意义学习理论的核心要素包括两个方面,一是学习者必须具备有意义学习的心向、适当的认知结构和积极主动的学习态度;二是学习的材料必须具有逻辑意义.因此,在课堂教学实践中教师必须做到以下三点第一,激发学生的学习动机和兴趣;第二,根据学生认知结构的特点组织实施教学活动;第三,发挥学生学习的积极性和主动性.     

大学生英语学习策略探究

学习策略的使用受动机、亢认知、个性等多方面的影响。大学英语学习中，学生的学习策略知识十分匮乏，教师应结合教学实际着重培养和训练学生学习的策略能力，以利于他们更好地提高英语水平。

翻译是一种实践技能,具有很强的实践性。唯物主义认识论认为完整的认识过程必须以实践为基础,由感性认识上升到理性认识,实现实践—认识—再实践—再认识的循环往复的发展过程。由此可见,翻译教学也应走从实践到理论的路子。分析本科翻译教学现状及其主要缺陷,并从翻译的实践性特征和唯物主义认识论角度探讨改进本科翻译教学的措施。     

北京化工大学新生英语学习策略调查及思考

本文采用调查问卷的方式，对北京化工大学2007级新生英语学习策略进行了调查．结果发现，新生在英语学习的策略上缺乏理论上的指导。对此笔者提出了较为切实可行的解决方案．以期对大学英语教学起到一定的促进作用。     

The protection of children exposed to marital violence

A review of the available research shows that children who witness violence between their parents have emotional and behavioural difficulties that mirror those of children currently identified as being abused. It is not clear whether these difficulties stem from the violence itself or the insecurity common in such families. However, current understanding of the experience of trauma suggests that some of these children are traumatized by the scenes they witness. Thus they fulfil the criteria for suffering from ‘significant harm’, within the guidelines of the Children Act. Current models of intervention in other areas of identified abuse could be applied to these children, offering adequate protection from further harm.
