Laws of iterated logarithm for quasi-maximum likelihood estimator in generalized linear model

For the case that the expectation of the response variable Y   is correctly specified in the generalized linear model (GLM), under some regular assumptions, we obtain and prove the law of the iterated logarithm and Chung type law of the iterated logarithm for the quasi-maximum likelihood estimator (QMLE) _βn${\beta }_n$ in this model.     

On the detection of changes in autoregressive time series,II. Resampling procedures

We study an autoregressive time series model with a possible change in the regression parameters. Approximations to the critical values for change-point tests are obtained through various bootstrapping methods. Theoretical results show that the bootstrapping procedures have the same limiting behavior as their asymptotic counterparts discussed in Hušková et al. [2007. On the detection of changes in autoregressive time series, I. Asymptotics. J. Statist. Plann. Inference 137, 1243–1259]. In fact, a small simulation study illustrates that the bootstrap tests behave better than the original asymptotic tests if performance is measured by the α$\alpha$- and β$\beta$-errors, respectively.     

Robust median estimator in logistic regression

This paper introduces a median estimator of the logistic regression parameters. It is defined as the classical _L1$L_1$-estimator applied to continuous data _Z1,…,_Zn$Z_1,\dots ,Z_n$ obtained by a statistical smoothing of the original binary logistic regression observations _Y1,…,_Yn$Y_1,\dots ,Y_n$. Consistency and asymptotic normality of this estimator are proved. A method called enhancement is introduced which in some cases increases the efficiency of this estimator. Sensitivity to contaminations and leverage points is studied by simulations and compared in this manner with the sensitivity of some robust estimators previously introduced to the logistic regression. The new estimator appears to be more robust for larger sample sizes and higher levels of contamination.

钨酸铅晶体中F型色心电子结构的研究

运用相对论性的密度泛函离散变分（DV-Xα）方法模拟计算了PbWO4（PWO）晶体中F型色心的电子结构，得到了PWO晶体的态密度分布，讨论了色心的可能光学跃迁模式，并用过渡态方法计算了跃迁能量。计算结果表明，F、F^＋心在PWO晶体的禁带中引入了施主能级，F、F^＋心可向W 5d轨道发生跃迁，其跃迁能分别是1.83eV、2.28eV，因此，可推断F、F^＋心能引起PWO晶体中680nm、550nm的吸收。     

农林院校产学研结合问题探讨

产学研结合是高等教育体制改革的重要举措。农林院校实施产学研结合,是农业教育面向社会、面向“三农”、面向经济建设主战场的必然选择。由于我国社会、经济、教育以及农业发展的复杂性、多样性和地区差异,使得农林院校在产学研结合的方式方法上,始终存在着如何适应社会和进一步改革创新的问题。正确认识产学研结合在新时期的涵义和意义,探索其基本类型、规律、运行机制和模式等,对合并型高校及农林院校进行产学研结合的实践具有一定现实意义。     

Effect of dependence on statistics for determination of change

Quite a number of test statistics and estimators for detection of a change in the mean of a series of independent observations were proposed and studied. The purpose of this paper is to examine the behaviour of these statistics if the observations are dependent, particularly, if they form a linear process.     

Bayesian selection of log-linear models

A general methodology is presented for finding suitable Poisson log-linear models with applications to multiway contingency tables. Mixtures of multivariate normal distributions are used to model prior opinion when a subset of the regression vector is believed to be nonzero. This prior distribution is studied for two- and three-way contingency tables, in which the regression coefficients are interpretable in terms of odds ratios in the table. Efficient and accurate schemes are proposed for calculating the posterior model probabilities. The methods are illustrated for a large number of two-way simulated tables and for two three-way tables. These methods appear to be useful in selecting the best log-linear model and in estimating parameters of interest that reflect uncertainty in the true model.
