语言迁移的制约因素及其对外语教学的启示

语言迁移现象是一项极其复杂的心理过程,是二语学习过程中不可避免的阶段,语言迁移的制约因素包括语言因素和非语言因素。在外语课堂教学中,我们要利用对比分析理论突出目标语与母语在语言结构上的差异,使学生理解两种语言在词汇、句法、篇章结构上的差异,尽量克服母语迁移在语言层面的负迁移,同时,重视母语和目的语文化的对比分析,凸显母语和目标语在思维方式、文化背景上的差异,减少文化层面的负迁移。     

在拟像中安放无根的青春——论网络怀旧视频的类型、本质与功能

 随着视觉文化进入数字和视频时代,国际影像研究界对于“电影之死”的争论愈演愈烈。以中国本土网络现象--蔚为大观的“怀旧视频”为分析对象,呼应了国际影像研究界的热点主题。在后现代语境中,首先探讨了“素材重构型”和“网络原创型”两类视频截然不同的影像呈现方式;其次分析了图片集锦等视频的电影性,透视网络这一特殊的空间场域引发的观众对视频的深度参与、影像接受与记忆的关系,并分析了这种“关注力”如何在网络空间中得以渗透与蔓延,从而在特定人群中沉淀“集体记忆”、营造集体怀旧的氛围。最后,将关注“80 后”一代的代际特征,把网络怀旧影像视作一种现代性压力下,失去安全感和归属感的群体合理且必要的符号化的情绪消费。     

Optimal consumption and portfolio selection with negative wealth constraints,subsistence consumption constraints,and CARA utility

We consider the optimal consumption and portfolio selection problem with constant absolute risk aversion (CARA) utility. The economic agent in this model receives constant labor income, and her economic behavior is restricted on consumption and wealth, which are called the subsistence consumption constraint and the negative wealth constraint. We use the convex duality method to derive the value function and the optimal policies in closed-form solutions. Also we illustrate some numerical examples.     

Firm internationalization and performance: Evidence for designing policies

The debate on the relationship between internationalization and performance is still open and is a hot topic for policymakers, but they ignore the impacts for most of the firms supported. The paper is based on a large database of seven years that considers quantitative-qualitative and control variables. To reduce industry and country heterogeneity we focused on the Italian automotive supply chain. We tested 5 modes of internationalization on firms’ profitability so to support the design of policies. Our results are partially in contrast with literature; therefore we identify specific environments where policies, namely for exporting, could be more effective.     

Individual adoption of convergent mobile phone in Italy

The present study integrates the technology acceptance and convergence streams of research to develop and test a model of individual adoption of convergent mobile technologies. Adopting structural equation modelling, we hypothesize that relative advantage, effort expectancy, social influence and facilitating conditions affect directly individual attitude and, indirectly the intention to use convergent mobile technologies. The model explains a highly significant 53.2% of the variance for individual attitude, while individual attitude accounts for 33.9% of the variance in behavioral intention. “L” is for Looking Again

This paper focuses on an important aspect of the Showtime television series The L Word: its exploration of the representation of gender and sexuality in contemporary visual art. The program presents a sophisticated feminist perspective on the histories of female and lesbian representation, and it uses the work of particular contemporary artists, who are known for their engagement with questions of female, lesbian, and/or queer representation, to advance its critique of a long history of erasure, misrepresentation, and objectification. Simultaneously, while foregrounding its awareness of the contradictions of trying to create new forms of representation in a thoroughly commercial and commodified context, the program uses works of art to present the possibility of inventing alternative images or of redefining existing ones. The show's consistent attention to innovative art constitutes a formal device that offers a counter-discourse to those conventions of representation required by the show's need to appeal to a broad audience. In this way, The L Word offers attentive viewers new ways to look at and think about apparently familiar images and narratives.     

The role of deliberate and experiential learning in developing capabilities: Insights from technology licensing

We discuss the interdependencies between deliberate and experiential learning in developing a dynamic technology licensing capability, which was termed ‘desorptive capacity’ in earlier conceptual work. We use new three-year lagged data from two surveys of 79 firms to examine the role of dedicated licensing employees and prior licensing experience in developing firms’ sensing, seizing, and transforming capacities in technology out-licensing. The findings emphasize capabilities’ multidimensionality and critical trade-offs due to interdependencies between deliberate and experiential learning in developing capabilities. Besides interdependencies with experiential learning, deliberate learning strengthens sensing and seizing capacity, but it negatively affects transforming capacity based on inertia.     

A review of RFID technology and its managerial applications in different industries

Radio frequency identification (RFID) is an emerging technology that is increasingly being used in supply chain management. RFID technology plays an important role in supporting logistics and supply chain processes because of their ability to identify, trace and track information throughout the supply chain. The technology can provide suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and retailers precise real time information about the products. This accurate knowledge of the inventory would result in lower labor cost, simplified business processes and improved supply chain efficiency. If properly used, it has the potential to cut ordering lead time and cost on inventory control, increase the accuracy of inventory information, help avoid stockouts and boost the number of inventory turns. In this paper, we provide an overview of the current state of RFID applications in different industries and its impact on business operations. We provide extensive literature survey and develop a framework for future research areas in this field.     

Wage and Productivity Differentials in Japan: The Role of Labor Market Mechanisms

This paper aims at explaining two stylized facts of the Lost Decade in Japan: rising wage inequalities and increasing firm‐level productivity differentials. We build a model where firms can choose between efficiency wages with endogenous effort and competitive wages, and show that it can replicate those facts. Using Japanese microeconomic data, we find support for the existence of efficiency wages in one group of firms and competitive wages in the other group. Based on those results, a simulation shows that the share of firms using efficiency wages has declined, within sectors, during the Lost Decade, as predicted by the model.     

“80后”农民工择偶模式研究

本文通过对528份有效调查问卷的统计分析得知:80后农民工由于特殊的成长环境和成长经历,他们在择偶上出现了年龄偏早化、择偶观念逆传统化、婚期选择集中化等趋势。针对这种变化,笔者认为构建科学合理的择偶模式势在必行,政府、家庭、社会和个人应各尽其责,协调合作,帮助他们树立正确的人生观、价值观和择偶观,更好地促进社会主义新农村的建设。
