唐末文人顾云事迹探赜

唐末文人顾云两唐书无传,连《唐才子传》也无视之。检视相关材料,见其游宦权门时准备充分,在形象、语言方面表现突出,明显优于同行之罗隐,取得了仕宦先机。他求仕心切,求拔解文心思缜密,干谒文不辞卑微,终以寒素身份四举中第,显示出老道的人生经验。他与杜荀鹤最为相得,杜及第时为时俗非议,自编诗集以求自明;顾云慷慨为其作序,夸大其词,为杜声名计不惜背书。对顾云事迹的探赜,有助于分析更多唐末普通文人个案,从而更为深入地研究唐末文人和文学生态。     

传统藏戏的佛教观念与悲剧意识

传统藏戏通过悲剧性情境、悲剧意味浓烈的情节,甚至不乏通过制造矛盾冲突与推动剧情发展的各种斗争手段,营造藏戏的悲剧情境。然而由于宗教观念的影响以及独特的创作方式,传统藏戏的悲剧性却遭到不同程度的消解。传统藏戏的故事编织方式、人物佛性化的性格特征、戏剧结局方式、因过于强调故事性而忽略了场面描写和细节描写,这些都对悲剧性情境的有所消解。不同于西方戏剧中严格意义上的悲剧,传统藏戏是一种具有东方佛教底蕴的超越性悲剧。佛教开阔的生命观念及克己修忍等伦理规范,使藏戏人物以一种超脱的心境面对一切苦难和悲剧性困境。如果说西方式悲剧的抗争精神强调的是人与人、人与命运之间的抗争是建立在基督教文化语境中,那么传统藏戏则突出的是人与苦难本身的精神上抗争的藏传佛教底蕴。人物直面无尽苦难和悲剧性困境的抗争精神,使传统藏戏形成为一种独具佛教特色的超越性悲剧,同样能唤起观众强烈的情感共鸣。

维特根斯坦一生的语言哲学思想分为前后两个阶段。前期的维特根斯坦主张语言的逻辑图像论,后期他提出了语言游戏说。维特根斯坦前后两阶段的语言哲学思想是既有区别又有联系的,后期的语言哲学观并非是对前期的简单抛弃,彻底对立,而是继承基础上的批判。     

Policy Stable States in the Graph Model for Conflict Resolution

A new approach to policy analysis is formulated within the framework of the graph model for conflict resolution. A policy is defined as a plan of action for a decision maker (DM) that specifies the DM’s intended action starting at every possible state in a graph model of a conflict. Given a profile of policies, a Policy Stable State (PSS) is a state that no DM moves away from (according to its policy), and such that no DM would prefer to change its policy given the policies of the other DMs. The profile of policies associated to a PSS is called a Policy Equilibrium. Properties of PSSs are developed, and a refinement is suggested that restricts DMs to policies that are credible in that they are in the DM’s immediate interest. Relationships with existing stability definitions in the graph model for conflict resolution are then explored.     

Competition for a Majority

We define the class of two‐player zero‐sum games with payoffs having mild discontinuities, which in applications typically stem from how ties are resolved. For such games, we establish sufficient conditions for existence of a value of the game, maximin and minimax strategies for the players, and a Nash equilibrium. If all discontinuities favor one player, then a value exists and that player has a maximin strategy. A property called payoff approachability implies existence of an equilibrium, and that the resulting value is invariant: games with the same payoffs at points of continuity have the same value and ɛ‐equilibria. For voting games in which two candidates propose policies and a candidate wins election if a weighted majority of voters prefer his proposed policy, we provide tie‐breaking rules and assumptions about voters' preferences sufficient to imply payoff approachability. These assumptions are satisfied by generic preferences if the dimension of the space of policies exceeds the number of voters; or with no dimensional restriction, if the electorate is sufficiently large. Each Colonel Blotto game is a special case in which each candidate allocates a resource among several constituencies and a candidate gets votes from those allocated more than his opponent offers; in this case, for simple‐majority rule we prove existence of an equilibrium with zero probability of ties.     

近代中国原创侦探小说

侦探小说是晚清风靡一时的小说类型 ,随着外国侦探小说的译介 ,辛亥革命前后 ,中国产生了大量本土原创侦探小说。由于近代侦探小说的产生不是萌芽自本国的文化传统 ,而是首先来自异域的译介 ,使中国作家在创作之前 ,对这一特殊的文体有了先入为主的接受和理解。而创作观念的先行 ,以及大量现成的可资借鉴的范本的存在 ,便使中国作家在创作时 ,在侦探的职业和艺术形象、主要题材及叙事方式和写作技巧等方面有意识地摹仿译本作品 ,这几乎成为当时固定的创作模式。近代原创侦探小说总体艺术性较差 ,主要表现在文体杂糅、创作上机械模仿、侦探形象单薄以及断案方式缺乏科学精神等几个方面
