必须从新的理论视角重新科学地认识剥削

剥削的产生、发展和最终被消灭,都是由生产力的发展水平决定的。每一种剥削制度在上升时期,都是“历史发展的杠杆”。我国社会主义条件下的私有经济也存在剥削,但与资本主义的私有经济有根本的区别。应该允许其存在,但又不是放任任何形式的剥削。     

关于“科学技术是第一生产力”的再思考

在邓小平理论中,"科学技术是第一生产力"的论断占有极其重要的地位,然而在理论界仍有不同的理解和认识.有一种观点认为"科学技术是第一生产力"指的是科学技术渗透到生产力三要素之中;还有一种观点把"科学技术是第一生产力"解释为"第一位变革的作用"首要的因素".事实上,"科学技术是第一生产力"应当包括两层含义第一层含义是科学技术是一个独立的生产力,即科技生产力;第二层含义是科学技术在生产力诸要素中起第一位的决定作用.     

The development of stratification and segregation in a new scientific field: A study of collaboration among scientists in neuroblastoma research between 1975 and 2016

Using a new data set on scientific collaboration in neuroblastoma research over a period of 41 years, we study how the structure of collaboration ties in an evolving scientific field changes over time. Guided by concepts from the sociology of knowledge and status theories, we highlight the importance of a field’s size and age for processes of stratification and segregation within it. Our findings suggest that stratification becomes stronger and diversifies as the field of neuroblastoma research expands. Moreover, we find that the occurrence of collaboration between researchers with a similar status becomes more likely as the field matures. While previous work has primarily examined established fields, our study focuses on how scientific fields change their structure over time. More broadly, our article demonstrates the potential analytical merits of adopting a dynamic and relational perspective on the developmental trajectories of organizational and cultural fields.     

Branding national images: The 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, 2010 Shanghai World Expo,and 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games

International mega or hallmark events such as the Olympics and World Expo, are believed to help brand national and government images of the host country. Existing studies explain that mega-event images are transferrable to a host country and/or government. Yet, such an assumption has not been widely tested, or studied with country cases. Furthermore, while international mega events are assumed to target chiefly the international community for country branding purposes, there is reason to assert that they may just as much aim at domestic audiences for regime's political legitimization. By focusing on China's recently hosted three mega events – the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics, the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, and 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, this study addresses these issues.

在争办奥运会的竞争中,悉尼以环境方面的优势取胜。2000年奥运会的会址选建在悉尼附近的家树湾,过去这里曾是一片沼泽丛林,先后作过采石场、垃圾堆放场等,1988年已建成一个二世纪公署和州体育馆,在此基础上,将建成奥林匹克公园,提出“绿色奥运”的口号,将奥运会场的建设与环境治理、环境保护相结合,这一举措,深受赞许。     

Weaving the Diverse ‘Seeds’ of Knowledge

Inspiration in the journey through my academic career has come from diverse sources and been enriched through continual reflection. The disciplines of anthropology and human ecology have been only one source of ideas. The other source of enrichment is the domain of local knowledge—the product of the local people's struggles to stay alive in a changing environment. Through hard work they strive for improved prosperity and a more sustainable environment; from them I learned the meaning of life.

M. Junus Melalatoa's ethnographic poem entitled Cipayung Petang (1987) in Winarto & Sulistiawati 2006, p. 35) appropriately represents my reflection:

科学发展观:马克思主义发展思想的凝练与升华

科学发展观凝聚了中国共产党三代中央领导集体的思想智慧,是中国共产党关于发展的重要思想的凝练与升华,反映了当代世界的发展潮流和新世纪新阶段全面建设小康社会的时代要求,是中国共产党对马克思主义发展理论的独特贡献。科学发展观的提出,无论在中国特色社会主义发展史上,还是在科学社会主义发展史上,都具有不可低估的创新价值。     

论科学发展观的科学内涵

科学发展观理论的科学内涵至少应包括以下四个层面：科学发展观以马克思主义基本原理作为理论前提;科学发展观理论超越了当前各种社会思潮的价值旨趣;科学发展观规制了今后我国社会发展的路径;科学发展观提出了应对日益蔓延的生态危机的方略。针对这四个层面的内涵,科学发展观作为党建理论的最新成果,要求新时期党的先进性建设做到以下四个方面：实现党的理论创新时代化,实现党的意识形态超越化,实现党员领导干部知识化,实现党的发展理念责任化。     

科学发展观与我国少数民族政策的创新取向

科学发展观是党和国家的指导思想,民族政策是党和国家解决民族问题的基本措施,用科学发展观指导民族政策的创新是中国特色社会主义发展的客观需要.在科学发展观指导下,我国少数民族政策创新的逻辑起点是加快少数民族和民族地区的经济社会发展,其逻辑基准是重视社会的公平和正义、协调民族关系,逻辑终点是实现少数民族的“人的全面发展”.
