Financial management: Development of scales

This study is a contribution to the development of family resource management scales, specifically financial management scales. Principal axis factor analysis, with varimax rotation, is used to assess underlying relationships in 23 family resource management variables related to time and money resources. Reliability and content, construct, and criterion-related validity of the scales are assessed. Two scales that are reliable and have some degree of validity are developed: frequency of financial problems and frequency of financial management. The scales could be used in future research, teaching, or counseling to organize financial management concepts.Preparation of this research was supported in part by the Illinois Agricultural Experiment Station. Data were collected in conjunction with the cooperative regional research project NC-182, Family Resource Utilization as a Factor in Determining Economic Well-Being of Rural Families. 高校中层领导干部培训现状及需求分析——基于河北省高校中层干部的调查研究

采用访谈法和调查问卷法,以河北省高校中层干部为研究对象,对高校中层领导干部培训的内容、形式及手段,培训机构及培训讲师,培训效果及考核方式等各环节进行了调研,分析了当前高校干部培训工作的现状、问题及需求等,提出对高校干训工作的理念、内容、形式与手段进行全面创新,实现向基于胜任力的培训体系与方法的转变。

家庭功能与小班幼儿亲社会行为的关系：安全型依恋的中介作用和性别的调节作用

基于McMaster家庭功能模式理论和依恋理论,选取392名小班幼儿为被试,通过问卷调查探讨家庭功能与小班幼儿亲社会行为的关系,并检验安全型依恋的中介效应和性别的调节效应。结果显示,家庭功能、亲社会行为、安全型依恋两两之间均呈现显著的正相关。安全型依恋在家庭功能与小班幼儿亲社会行为的关系中起着部分中介作用。性别显著调节家庭功能与亲社会行为之间的关系。具体而言,家庭功能显著正向影响女性幼儿的亲社会行为,但对男性幼儿亲社会行为的影响并不显著。     

关于经济发展与人口状况科学管理的思考

自从20世纪70年代以来,我国大陆举国上下认真贯彻计划生育的基本国策,终于取得了30年少生3亿多人、使得13亿人口日的到来推迟了4年的巨大成绩。此举促进了国内的经济发展,同时也为全球的人口总量的控制做出了贡献。但是,由于我国人口的基数太大,目前我国的人口状况依然存在着影响经济发展的不容乐观的问题。因此,在新的历史条件下,只有坚持与发展我国的控制人口数量、提高人口质量的基本国策,加强对人口的科学管理,才能实现经济与社会的协调发展。

战略成本管理的思想是成本管理与战略管理有机结合的产物,是传统成本管理系统对竞争环境变化所做出的一种适应性变革,是当代成本管理发展的必然趋势。战略成本管理方法可以分为基本方法和具体方法,这些方法还可进行整合。     

员工满意指数测评方法及其管理策略研究——以某石油机械制造企业为例

员工满意度是保证用户满意的基础,员工对企业的满意指数越高,越有利于提高员工对产品或服务的质量。阐述影响员工满意的因素和产生的效应,提出员工满意指数结构模型,给出模型中隐变量相对应的观测变量以及描述模型中各相关变量之间关系的数学表达式;区分员工满意度的内在报酬因素和外在报酬因素,采用薪酬组合/员工满意度状态管理方格衡量员工的不同满意度状态,实现员工满意状态的动态管理;制定提高员工满意度的P-D-C-A-R五步循环措施,在管理实践中指导企业提高员工满意度。通过对某石油机械制造企业的实际调查,运用偏最小二乘法进行员工满意分析,得到隐变量相关关系曲线和影响员工满意的主要因素,并对企业进一步持续改进员工满意管理策略提出相应建议。     

Emotion Regulation in Low-income Preschoolers

The present study was concerned with identifying the causes of low-income preschoolers' negative emotions and their most common regulation responses. The relations of family socialization practices and temperament to the children's emotion regulation skills were also examined. Ninety predominantly minority low-income preschoolers (46 boys) and their mothers participated. During visits to the children's preschools, observers watched for expressions of anger and sadness, and recorded the causes of the displays and the children's reactions. Mothers reported on their emotion socialization and discipline practices and their children's temperament. Although the children expressed more anger than sadness, they used more constructive reactions in response to sadness and more non-constructive reactions in response to anger. Maternal reports of appropriate family emotion were associated with low levels of non-constructive regulation responses to anger and sadness whereas reports of inconsistent parental discipline were generally associated with non-constructive regulation responses. All in all, the findings of this study are in accord with findings on middle-income children and indicate that low- and middle-income children are more alike than different with regard to the regulation of negative emotion in the peer environment.     

On the Critical Value Behaviour of Multiple Decision Procedures

In this paper we investigate the asymptotic critical value behaviour of certain multiple decision procedures as e.g. simultaneous confidence intervals and simultaneous as well as stepwise multiple test procedures. Supposing that n hypotheses or parameters of interest are under consideration we investigate the critical value behaviour when n increases. More specifically, we answer e.g. the question by which amount the lengths of confidence intervals increase when an additional parameter is added to the statistical analysis. Furthermore, critical values of different multiple decision procedures as for instance step-down and step-up procedures will be compared. Some general theoretic results are derived and applied for various distributions.
