试析影响高校凝聚力的因素

高校凝聚力指高校对教师的吸引力,教师对高校的满意程度与向心力,教师之间及教师与其他学校成员之间的相互吸引力或接纳程度, 影响高校凝聚力的因素有外部因素和内部因素,前者是:社会生活方式和对人才的重视度、教师的社会地位、高校的知名度以及高校的外部压力,后者为:工作目标、工作特性、组织结构、管理制度、校园文化、管理者以及人际关系.     

及物性过程的一致性和序列性——超越词汇层的衔接现象

传统的衔接分析往往基于词汇层,如词的指称、替代等,是从微观角度出发的分析,达不到反映整个语篇的结构关系。从系统功能语言学来看,任何语篇的过程类型都是有章可循的,并且是构建语篇的框架。本文通过对语篇实例进行及物性过程分析,发现语篇衔接也反映在小句及物性过程类型上,并可归纳为两种主要的衔接方式:及物性过程一致式、及物性过程序列式。对及物性过程进行的衔接分析超越了词汇层,是一种宏观的分析方法,它有助于读者把握全篇信息的分布走向,并对写作过程中的谋篇布局起到积极的指导作用。      

Framing authoritarian legitimacy: elite cohesion in the aftermath of popular rebellion

ABSTRACT

Protest activity presents a significant threat to state legitimacy in nondemocratic settings. Although authoritarian regimes rely heavily on coercion, state officials must also justify their authority to both the public and other elites. Previous work has shown how elites vilify challengers to legitimize repression, but scholars have yet to examine how state officials engage in meaning work to prevent elite divisions from forming in light of popular challenges to regime legitimacy. In this study, we examine elite framing processes in a case of popular resistance to a 1953 currency reform in Communist Czechoslovakia. Using archival material, we trace the inter- and intra-organizational processes through which officials construct legitimacy claims by explaining and adjudicating blame for the popular rebellion. Results indicate that authoritarian rulers relied on a variety of discursive mechanisms to generate consensus among subordinate elites and protect regime legitimacy. We conclude by discussing implications for research on authoritarianism and social movements.     

Dynamics of Mixed Coalitions Under Social Cohesion Constraints

ABSTRACT

Parameters for the birth and death diffusion life table model subject to downward jumps randomly occurring at a constant rate are estimated. The jump magnitudes have a beta distribution with support [0, l_x ], where l_x is the total number of survivors prior to the jump. The estimation method is maximum likelihood. The Cramer–Rao Lower bound and the asymptotic distribution for the MLE are derived. The model is applied to the U.S. men′s population from 1900 to 1999.     

An alternative measure of social wellbeing: analysing the key conceptual and statistical components of quality of life

Statisticians, policy makers and social researchers widely accept that there is a need to consider a more nuanced range of measures of quality of life that move beyond the economic domain and that take into account key aspects of an individual's life circumstances. Using data from an Australian household survey, a composite Wellbeing Index was created that covered objective circumstances, with known associations to wellbeing, evaluated from the individual's subjective viewpoint. The robustness of the measure comes from the fact that while covering a broad range of key dimensions, the index only includes the items deemed important components of wellbeing by a majority of respondents. The index was then used to explore the extent to which wellbeing is associated with other dimensions of quality of life that have currency in the contemporary literature. The study contributes to the contemporary debate on social wellbeing and adds new Australian evidence to a body of research that has been mainly based on European and American data.

针对英语专业作文中存在的主题不够突出、结构不合理、条理性不清等连贯性问题,结合低语境文化、主位推进模式、衔接手段等理论,提出英语阐释性说明文层级连贯作为解决方案。采用实证研究法,对英语专业实验班和对照班的阐释性说明文进行了层级连贯的横向和纵向对比研究。结果证明：层级连贯培训有助于学生作文水平的提高,培训后学生作文在主题、结构和条理性方面有明显进步。
