Pseudo Self-Consistent Estimation of a Copula Model with Informative Censoring

Abstract.  We consider the case where a terminal event censors a non-terminal event, but not vice versa. When the events are dependent, estimation of the distribution of the non-terminal event is a competing risks problem, while estimation of the distribution of the terminal event is not. The dependence structure of the event times is formulated with the gamma frailty copula on the upper wedge, with the marginal distributions unspecified. With a consistent estimator of the association parameter, pseudo self-consistency equations are derived and adapted to the semiparametric model. Existence, uniform consistency and weak convergence of the new estimator for the marginal distribution of the non-terminal event is established using theories of empirical processes, U -statistics and Z -estimation. The potential practical utility of the methodology is illustrated with simulated and real data sets.

从政治学到政治科学--中国政治学研究的难题与范式转换

当前中国政治学研究的最大难题是学科界限的模糊性和不确定性,根本矛盾是人文与科学之间的冲突。要解决这一难题和矛盾,中国政治学必须实现研究范式的转换,从注重人文因素的政治学转向注重科学因素的政治科学。就其与政治的关系而言,应当从"准官方代言人"转向"独立学术人",从注重于对法律、政策的注解转向质询,减少政治学研究的"过重启蒙倾向",增加"民间性"和"冷漠性"。就其在政治人共同体中的地位而言,应当从"点缀性"、"修养性"转向"首要性"、"必需性"。就其研究方法而言,应当从"模糊性"、"随意性"转向"严格性"、"严肃性",从注重理论转向注重实践。     

基于信息经济学下科技期刊发展的创新研究

科技期刊的工作主体是信息。信息作为一种商品,是具有经济属性的。本文从信息、信息经济学的概念入手,浅述了科技期刊的信息属性,指出科技期刊也是从属于信息产业的范畴,在此基础上,提出了科技期刊发展的创新策略。     

Empirical likelihood inference for the regression model of mean quality‐adjusted lifetime with censored data

The authors consider the empirical likelihood method for the regression model of mean quality‐adjusted lifetime with right censoring. They show that an empirical log‐likelihood ratio for the vector of the regression parameters is asymptotically a weighted sum of independent chi‐squared random variables. They adjust this empirical log‐likelihood ratio so that the limiting distribution is a standard chi‐square and construct corresponding confidence regions. Simulation studies lead them to conclude that empirical likelihood methods outperform the normal approximation methods in terms of coverage probability. They illustrate their methods with a data example from a breast cancer clinical trial study.     

近20年《楚辞补注》研究综述

洪兴祖<楚辞补注>是一部里程碑式的<楚辞>阐释文献.近20年来,这一历史上的楚辞研究专书逐渐成为学术界关注的焦点.许多研究洪兴祖与<楚辞补注>的论文从不同侧面、不同角度、不同立场提出了许多新见解、新观点,为<楚辞补注>的研究拓宽了道路.从文献学研究、文艺学研究及专书研究三个方面略作总结,有助于我们对此课题的整体性了解,使我们对<楚辞补注>研究的发展现状能有总体性的把握.鉴于当前的研究现状,对<楚辞补注>的研究应纳入"文献学与文艺学相结合"的研究视角,并应该对此书在楚辞文化阐释方面的作用予以重视.
